This Bachelor’s thesis describes statistical sampling techniques in carrying out financial audits. The first part is dealing with theoretical description of an auditor’s work, which on the basis on statistical sampling method is making a financial audit. The second part is dealing with the description of a computer program in which is auditor making a financial audit. There in the second part are also being described the current program options along with the statistical methods used in program. The end of thesis contains comparison with competition and economic evaluation.

Characterization of scanning transmission electron microscopy images of thin biological sections

Diplomová práce popisuje fyzikální principy mikroskopů TEM, SEM a STEM spolu s jejich vhodností pro pozorování vzorků citlivých na elektrony, jako jsou zalévací média či biologické vzorky. Dále je popsána příprava vzorků pro STEM (TEM) a popis interakcí, ke kterým dochází mezi primárním elektronovým svazkem a vzorkem. Součástí práce je také pojednání o zpracování mikroskopických obrazů s podkapitolou o metodách kvantitativního porovnání obrazů ze STEM. Praktická část práce je zaměřena zejména na měření úbytku hmoty zalévacích médií (Epon, Spurr, LR White) způsobený primárním svazkem elektronů v nízkonapěťovém STEM. Ultratenké řezy několika tlouštěk byly zkoumány při různých nastaveních mikroskopu (urychlovací napětí, celková dávka, proud svazku, čištění povrchu vzorku a komory mikroskopu) a zobrazovacích módech (světlé a tmavé pole). Dále jsou zkoumány také biologické vzorky Krásnoočka štíhlého (Euglena gracilis) zalitého v pryskyřicích Epon a Spurr. Nasbírané snímky, vytvořené algoritmy a získané výsledky jsou diskutovány a zhodnoceny.

Analysis of Economic Indicators Using Statistical Methods

The bachelor thesis represents the financial analysis of the particular economic indicators of the OBI Centrum, spol. s r. o. company and also the analysis of the indicator’s development according to the statistical methods. The results proceed from the following financial statements – the Balance sheet and the Profit and loss statement from the period 2008-2014. They provide the basis for the own processed solutions and MS Excel programme. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the economical and statistical terms. The practical part consists of the calculations with the appropriate interpretations and graphical demonstrations. According to them, the own suggestions, which should improve the financial situation of the company are stated.

The aim of bachelor thesis is analysis of the conomic indicators in internet agency Cognito.CZ s.r.o. in Brno. Result of financial analysis is a set of values for each year. For each year are applied statistical methods. Financial analysis revers the strengths and weaknesses of the business and statistical methods determine the prediction of individual economic indicators for the following year. Bachelor thesis contains proposals to improve the problems and situation.

This thesis focuses on the analysis and correlation of demographic statistics with the real estate market development. It is based on statistical samples of real estate prices in Brno-city and Brno-country and dependency analysis of demographic indicators of development in these regions. I compare less profitable properties with more profitable and looking for dependency rates. Based on the information, I propose the most appropriate investment strategy.

Simulation of electroporation process in stent oclussion therapy

This masteral thesis describes phenomenon of electroporation and it’s use to deal with occluded self-expandable metalic stent. Thesis briefly summarizes theory of electroporation, currently used medical treatments of occluded stents. The next part of the thesis is dedicated to current state of mathematical simulations of electroporation. The core of the thesis are simulations of electroporation effects on tissue of occluded metal stents.

This diploma thesis disserts mainly on the software application development created through language Visual Basic for Application, which serves to creation of macros and automation of work in Microsoft Excel. The Application is made specially for company PENTACO, spol. s.r.o. The software allows to calculate complete financial analysis of company for last 8 years. Statistical methods are used for prediction of future indicators. The financial analysis will reveal the weaknesses and strengths of the company and on their basis will be suggested solutions for fixing of problems and company situation.

Assessing the Financial Situation of TECHNOS, a.s Company Using Time Series Analysis

This bachelor's thesis is focused on the examination of financial situation of the company TECHNOS, a.s. during the years 2010 - 2015 using time series, regression analysis and assessment of financial indicators. The thesis is divided into three parts. The theoretical part describes selected indicators, time series and regression analysis in conceptual terms. The practical part introduces company and analyzes selected economic indicators of this company based on its financial statements. In the last section there are compiled prognoses of the analysed indicators and suggestions for improvement the financial situation of the company using statistical indicators.

Part of the work is to create an application in the Visual Basic for Applications, which can be used to evaluate the financial situation of the company. The thesis contains a theoretical part, which deals with the description of economic indicators and regression analysis, analytical part, which is focused on the financial analysis of the current state of the company SLOVPUMP-TRADE, s.r.o. The third part desribes created application and recommendations for the company based on the results of financial analysis.
