Characterization of new complex-forming agents for CZE
Málková, Nikola ; Jelínek, Ivan (advisor) ; Dian, Juraj (referee)
This diploma thesis is focused on the use of modern instrumental analytical techniques for analytical evaluation and study of new complex-forming agents. Precise characterization of complex-forming agents is necessary to determine their potential use in scientific researches. These compounds are often used in analytical chemistry e.g. for kinetic determination of metal ions, as reagents for complexometric titrations and also for chiral separations of enantiomers. The dependences of effective electrophoretic mobilities of newly synthesized macrocyclic complex-forming agents on pH of a background electrolyte were measured by using CZE. This dependency is discussed further in the thesis. The thermodynamic dissociation constants of the studied compounds were determined too. Analysis by molecular UV/VIS spectrometry, infrared spectroscopy and mass spectrometry were also performed. The addition of the studied complex-forming agents to the separation of a mixed sample of fumaric acid and maleic acid was also studied. Knowledge of the chemical and physical properties of new substances contributes to the understanding of their chemical behavior and the determination of their application. This knowledge can be also very useful in scientific research, which these compounds are already involved in....
Chemical treatment of weakly ionizable uncharged complexes of rhenium for the possible identification by ESI-HRMS
Málková, Nikola ; Štícha, Martin (advisor) ; Kozlík, Petr (referee)
Detailed characterization of rhenium complexes is necessary for the potential use in clinical practice and nuclear medicine. For structure characterization and quantification of coordination compounds, mass spectrometry exceeds other analytical methods in sensitivity and selectivity. The advantage of this method for coordination chemistry is the possibility of determination of the analyte directly in the reaction mixture. The compounds need to be ionized to get relevant mass spectra. The ionization of these compounds is often very difficult and it is necessary to develop a special derivatization procedures. Complexes of rhenium with 1,2-dihydroxybenzene and 4-methyl-1,2-dihydroxybenzene and it's derivatives with p- chloroaniline and p- bromoaniline have been prepared and characterized by ESI-HRMS. The fragmentation mechanisms of these complexes have been studied using a mass spectrometry technique collision-induced dissociation (CID). Keywords Rhenium complexes, rhenium, 1,2-dihydroxybenzen, 4-methyl-1,2-dihydroxybenzen, mass spektrometry, derivatization, ESI-MS, CID

Vlastní příjmy obce Doloplazy
Málková, Nikola ; Nitschová, Lucie (advisor)
Bakalářská práce se zabývá v prvé řadě analýzou vlastních příjmů obce Doloplazy v jednom konkrétním roce. Dále je zde porovnán vývoj vlastních příjmů této obce v letech 2003-2006 a nakonec je uvedena komparace vlastních příjmů obce Doloplazy s příjmy tří zvolených obcí.
