Title: Case study in the physical therapy on a patient post total hip endoprosthesis Objective: The objective of this bachelor's thesis is a practical illustration of a case study in the physical therapy on a patient following a total hip endoprosthesis and getting acquainted with this diagnosis. Summary: This bachelor's thesis is divided into theoretical part and specialized part. Theoretical part focuses on diagnosing a condition following a total hip endoprostheses. It covers general information about anatomy and kinesiology of a hip joint, findings about coxarthrosis, alloplastic implantation of a hip joint and rehabilitation. Specialized part of this work presents the case study in the physical therapy on a patient post total hip endoprostheses. It includes the initial kinesiological analysis, short-term and long-term plan of physical therapy, course of physical therapy sessions, final kinesiological analysis and factual evaluation of therapy. Title Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient with Paraparesis Aim of the thesis The theoretical part brings general outlook and detailed information about diagnose of spinal cord injury. Practical part overviews a study case of a patient with traumatic spinal cord injury resulting in paraparesis. The study includes outcome and effect of the applied therapy. Method The protocol is based on two weeks therapeutical plan that was based on initial kinesiological examination. Therapy included maximal number of most appropriate techniques to reach maximal result of improvement. Result After two weeks of intensive rehabilitation patient showed a signs of improvement. Nevertheless, patient is 10 months after injury with slow progress of improvement. Two weeks is short time for significant improvement. The results were recorded not quantitatively according to standard testing, but the quality of the movement, fluency, comfort and the dexterity which patient obtained in this two weeks, are the main positive results. Author: Kryštof Voleský Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with funicular myelosis Objectives: Processing of theoretical base for diagnosis of funicular myelosis and elaboration of physiotherapy procedurs for patient with funicular myelosis. Methods: This bachelor thesis was originated on ground of practice at Military university hospital Prague from January 14th to February 8th . At the time I was working with patient with diagnosis of funicular myelosis, he was hospitalized during my practice (to January 28th ). The thesis is divided into two main parts - theoretical and special. The theoretical includes processed basic knowledge about the illness, characteristics, ethiopathogenesis, diagnostics, treatment, associated diseases and physiotherapy methods for diagnoses of funicular myelosis. Special part contains funicular myelosis patien's case concept, processes and effect of the therapy. Results: The Patient made progress at several areas. Muscle strength, muscle shortening, range of motion, elimination of spasticity and verticalization got better. Conclusion: This bachelor thesis achieved the stated goals. Title: Case study of Physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after implantation of total knee joint replacement Objectives: The aim of this work was to elaborate a case report of a patient with a knee joint replacement, find theoretical background for this diagnosis and apply acquired knowledge in therapy. Methods: The work consists of a theoretical and a special part. The theoretical part deals with the anatomy and kinesiology of the knee joint, osteoarthritis and its treatment, an implantation of a total knee replacement as a surgical method of osteoarthritis treatment, rehabilitation after the implantation of the total knee endoprosthesis and appropriate physiotherapeutic techniques during patient's care after the implantation. A special part is elaborated in the form of a case study of a patient after an implantation of a total knee replacement. It consists of anamnesis, an entry kinesiological examination, records of therapeutic units, an outcome kinesiological examination and an evaluation of the effect of the therapy. Results: During the therapies designed according to the acquired knowledge from the theoretical part of the thesis, the patient's health status was improved. Title: Case Study of Physiotherapeutic Treatement of a Patient with the Diagnosis of Unilateral Above - Knee Amputation. Objectives: The aim of this work is a summary of theoretical knowledge about amputations of lower limbs and processing of case study of patient with the diagnosis of unilateral above - knee amputation. Methods: This bachelor thesis consist of two parts. The general part includes the literature review focused on the issue of amputations of lower limbs in relation to diabetes mellitus and its therapeutics and prosthetic options. Special part consists of case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of unilateral above - knee amputation. This part describes anamnesis, complex kinesiological examination, the course of each therapeutic unit and a final evaluation of therapeutic intervention. Results: This case study was created during two weeks at the turn of January and February 2019 in Ústřední vojenská nemocnice Praha. Physiotherapeutic procedures contributed to improve patient's condition. Edema of stump was reduced, extension in right hip joint increased, shortened muscles were stretched, muscle strength of higher and lower limbs increased, standing posture and gait improved. Title: Post-stroke physiotherapy treatment: A case study Aim: Brief review of current knowledge of stroke, with emphasis on rehabilitation possibilities; followed by a case study. Summary: The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the issue from the epidemiological point of view, provides stroke definition and classification according to the mechanism of origin, deals with risk factors and possibilities of prevention. Within the clinical signs, more attention is paid to the topic of spastic hemiparesis. The following text outlines the course of stroke treatment. The rehabilitation process, its possibilities and techniques, including the use of modern technologies and virtual reality, are described in more detail. Title: A Case study of physiotherapeutic care of patient with diagnosis of stroke. Objectives: The goal of this bachelor thesis has been set as processing a case study of patient after ischemic stroke, and summarising important theoretical knowledge regarding this diagnosis. Methods: This bachelor thesis is divided into two parts - a general part and a special part. The general part concerns a theory which is necessary to understand this issue thoroughly. That means anatomical basis of the disease, characteristic of the disease including clinical manifestation, epidemiology, risk factors and treatment. The special part includes a detailed case report of the patient including input analysis, performed therapies, output analysis and evaluation of the effect of the therapy. As the patient also suffers from diabetic polyneuropathy, this thesis also covers this topic shortly. Results: The patien's health condition improved. He doesn't tire so fast, tonus of lower extremities' muscles and abdominal wall's muscles has increased, stereotypes of gait and breathing has improved. Title: Case study of the physiotherapy treatment of a patient after polytrauma with peripheral palsy of ulnar nerve Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to summarize theoretical knowledge of peripheral palsy, especially the ulnar nerve palsy. Next objective is to elaborate a detailed case study with the use of theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired during the three years of studying the bachelor's programme, in the context of therapeutic sessions with a patient after a polytrauma who was diagnosed with ulnar nerve palsy. Methods: The thesis consists of two main parts. The theoretical part presents an analysis of data obtained from researching available literature and aims to summarize basic information on the subject. The empirical part documents the course of the therapeutic sessions and summarizes the results of the therapy within a consistent and specialized practice. A part of the case study is initial and final kinesiological assessment, a description of the course of all performed sessions and finally an evaluation of the effect of the therapy. Thesis Name: Kazuistic physiotherapeutic care for patients after a vascular stroke Aims: The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to process and then delineate theoretical and practical knowledge regarding diagnose of a vascular stroke and it's application on detailed kazuistic of a patient with mentioned diagnose. Summary: This bachelor thesis is focused on ischemic vascular stroke of a female patient with side diagnosis of a Down syndrome. The thesis is compiled of two parts. Theoretical part describes definition of a vascular stroke, mechanisms of it's formation, the most important risk factors and the problematic of the most common displaying methods of a vascular stroke. Title: Casuistry of physiotherapy care of patient after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction surgery of knee Objectives: The purpose of the theoretical part of the thesis is to introduce the issue of soft tissue injury of the knee joint, especially anterior cruciate ligament. Acquaintance with conservative and surgical treatment, physical therapy and physiotherapeutical care after ligament reconstruction surgery. The special part of the thesis presents casuistry of physiotherapy care of patient after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction surgery of knee. Methods: Bachelor thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and special. The first part contains theoretical knowledge about soft tissue injury of the knee joint, possibilities of examination, conservative and surgical treatment. The second part is concerned with casuistry of physiotherapy care of patient. Results: During therapy the reflex changes in the right lower limb have been eliminated, the shortened muscles have been elongated, weakened muscles have been strenghtened and the joint play of the head of fibula and the patella has been re-established.
