Spatial Variability of Soil Texture in Selected Area of Alluvial Plain of Luznice

5 Summary Research part of this dissertation thesis begins with floodplain characteristics and describes concerned area in geographic, geologic, geomorphologic and pedologic connections. A chapter about nature conservation is included as all the area is situated in a natural reserve and protected landscape area. Next part of the dissertation describes characteristics of fluvisols and differences of insertion fluvisols in soil taxonomy systems. This part also involves a chapter dealing with questions of soil texture classification and particle size analysis. Materials and methods chapter contains field research and particle size analysis, in particualr pipette and sieve analysis and statistical survey of grain size data. Last part of the dissertation thesis presents field survey data which was complemented by data from VUMOP and ýVUT. Results of grain size analysis of twenty chosen samples are also included. Results of geostatistical data survey on concerned areas are depicted on maps which illustrate variation of soil texture. The end of this part summarizes a change proposal of environmental-soil unions' classification and rough calculation of retention capacity of the concerned area. Morphology of the Křížový potok river channel in the Eastern Krkonoše Mountains

This master thesis deals with the morphology of mountain river channels - with structures, patterns and shapes resulting from fluvial processes. The findings are documented on the Křížový potok river channel in the Eastern Krkonoše mountains. There are several specifics which influence the evolution of mountain river channels. The first one is high elevation change and big slope of the river, which determinate the formation of typical structures, such as waterfalls, cascades and steps, often related with pools. Plane bed, riffle-pool and dune-ripple also represent typical structures of mountain river channels. Specific microstructures are represented by potholes. River channels in forested mountain basins are affected by logs and wood debris, which create local barriers where fine-grained material accumulates. In the Křížový potok river channel, a high diversity of the channel structures can be seen. The most common structures are step-pools and cascades. The stream is influenced by large accumulation of delluvial sediments and wood debris which create obstacles to the flow.

Confrontation of historical cost and fair value measurement of non financial assets in IFRS

Diploma thesis is focused on two main measurement concepts -- historical cost and fair value. The aim is to interpret fair value as a measurement base used to assign value to non financial assets, and compare it with well-known historical cost base. In context with historical cost measurement, attention is also paid to impairment meaning a decrease in carrying amount of an asset. Major part of the thesis deals with fair value measurement according to the new accounting standard IFRS 13. The thesis is concluded with practical survey about the use of fair value as a measurement base for non financial assets in practice.

Historic view on the development of foreign trade between the Czech Republic and the Russian Federation

The bachelor thesis is dealing with the international relations between the Czech Republic and the Russian Federation. The aim of the work is to analyse mutual foreign trade in the time period of 1993-2007 with focus on commodity structure. In the first part of the work the main economic characteristics of both countries are summed up, afterwards the development of international trade of the Czech Republic without the impact of Russia is analysed. The core of the work is presented in chapter 4, where the development of mutual foreign exchange in the individual years is described, while the emphasis is primary put on the comparison of commodity structures. The Czech trade policy towards Russia is shortly mentioned in the last chapter.
