Structure of Monosaccharides in Chemical Education

This thesis deals with the topic of monosaccharides structure and it is focused on the processing in the form of educational materials for secondary school. It is devided into two parts. The theoretical part is devoted to the analysis of curricular documents - Framework Educational Programmes and School Educational Programmes, then the analysis of secondary school textbooks and other educational materials. There is also the analysis of videos and animations. The practical part presents educational materials in the form of PowerPoint presentation and flash animations. There are also didactic notes which serve as a manual for lessons of chemistry on secondary school.

Tereza Kudrnová terka.kudrnova@email.cz In this thesis it was defined the conception "integrated education". It was described the system of education in England, Norway, Spanish and Canada. These countries were chosen based on available origins. In this thesis were evaluated the advantages, disadvantages and the possibilities of integrated education. It was made an analysis of textbooks and the other materials for integrated education and the themes The Soil, The Water and The Air. For these themes there were made the presentations in the computer programme Microsoft PowerPoint, including methodical notes for teachers. For these themes were also proposed laboratory works, individual works and the job sheets related with this. All proposed materials include author's solutions and the teacher's preparing for lesson. All laboratory and individual works were implemented. One laboratory work was proved in school with the pupils.
Organic chemistry and nomenclature of organic chemistry at secondary school

The main object of thesis is to do a survey and to analyse curricular documents and chemistry textbooks. Representative sample was chosen at the basis of stratified choice. Pedagogical research methods were used to analyse and evaluate data. Results were evaluated and discussed. A serious game based on nomenclature of organic chemistry was designed on the base of discovered facts. Some minor disproportions were discovered between School Educational Programmes and Framework Educational Programme.

At first, it was necessary to analyse available literature by the authors from the field, that have mentioned the problematics of interdisciplinarity between mathematics and chemistry. A part of literature research was dedicated to a search for the expected outcomes in curricular documents in Czech Republic and in Slovak Republic. In Czech Republic these were Framework Educational Programmes (RVP ZV, 2017 a RVP G, 2007). In Slovak Republic thee documents are State Educational programme ISCED 2 - lower secondary education (2015) and State Educational programme ISCED 3A - upper secondary education (2015).
