The Lachian of Óndra Łysohorsky as a Microlanguage. Morfological Analysis.

Diploma thesis "The Lachian of Óndra Łysohorsky as a Microlanguage" deals with literary lachian, a microlanguage, created by the poet Óndra Łysohorsky (own name Ervin Goj) and based on the upper Ostravice dialects. This language should be an attempt to create a new standard language for speakers of lachian dialects. However, the broader public did not accept it and with the exception of a short period at the end of the 30th years of the 20th century Óndra Łysohorsky was the only person, who wrote poems in lachian. It is therefore rather unique poetic idiolect. The language of Łysohorsky's poetry has not yet been explored in detail, systematic grammatical descriptions are completely lacking. The aim of this thesis is to provide a description of the morphology of this unique linguistic phenomenon. For this purpose it was created the lachian language corpus, which contains the vast majority of lachian poetic texts. A language corpus allows a more detailed elaboration of the language material, therefore it was possible to try to sort grammatically all the vocabulary of literary lachian. The paradigmatics of nouns in Grigorovich's prophetologium

The aim of this thesis was to offer a complete description of the dec1ension of the substantives in the Grigorovich's prophetologium (Grig), a Macedonian church Slavonic literary work from the end ofthe 12th or the beginning of the 13th Century, and on the basis of this description to establish the system relations among the various paradigms and herewith discover the development tendencies which are expresse'd in the dec1ension of the substantives of this literary work in the context of the church Slavonic literature of that time. It was accomplished a full exception of the substantives from the Old Testamental reading of the Grig. - For the correct understanding of the phonetic structure of the suffixes was made in the first part of the thesis an orthographical and phonetic analysis of the language of the Grig. In the second part of the thesis was interpreted the particular declension types of the substantives on the basis of the productive gender principle. Influence of Latin on Croatian Glagolitic monuments. The translation method of ablative absolute in the Croatian Glagolitic rule of Saint Benedict

This work tries to analyze the translation method of the Latin ablative absolute in the Croatian Glagolitic version of the Rule of Saint Benedict. Besides the concrete analysis, the work presents basic information about The Rule of Saint Benedict, translations of this important literary work from Latin in other European languages, editions of the Croatian Glagolitic translation and about most important studies on this text. The Latin ablative absolute and Old Church Slavonic dative absolute, which corresponds to absolute construction in Latin, are also briefly elaborated. The conclusion contains short classification and evaluation of all analysed material, including the list of all examples of ablative absolute that were found in the original text of The Rule of Saint Benedict with their equivalents in Croatian Glagolitic translation.

The Legend of St. Demetrius among eldest legends in the Germanov sbornik

This thesis seeks to locate the Old Church Slavonic (hitherto OCS) translation of the legend about St Demetrius in Germanov sbornik within the context of other archaic hagiographic and homiletic texts. In the lexical plan there can be found a number of hits with the vocabulary of the eldest OCS Gospels. Very archaic nature of morphological phenomena coexists with some innovations, which however have existed in the eldest OCS Gospels. The syntax of this legend is in many cases affected by Greek and maintains more archaic structures, which were gradually replaced by other constructions. The author of this thesis also deals with quotations and allusions of this OCS legend in other OCS works and makes an attempt to date the translation.

The possibilities of increasing the competitiveness of air transport

This master thesis focuses on selected concepts of air transport, which have a potential of increasing the competitiveness of the sector. The main objective of this paper is to analyze and quantify the economic and environmental benefits of introducing the electronic taxiing concept and the Free Route Airspace concept under conditions of use in the Czech Republic. First two parts of the thesis describe the theoretical background and important international aviation organizations. The main part describes the concepts, the methodology of benefit analyzes and presents the results. The results of analyzes show the main benefits of introducing both the concepts and the economic impact in case of airlines in the form of cost savings associated with fuel and environmental impact in terms of reducing the amount of produced gas emissions.

Statistical Analysis of Temperature and Precipitation Time Series in the Czech Republic in Period 1961-2008

The present dissertation deals with an analysis of monthly time series of average temperatures and precipitation sums recorded at 44 sites in the Czech Republic over the period of 1961--2008. The main research purpose is to acquire deeper knowledge of regularities in the climatic time series development, using an appropriate set of statistical methods. A secondary objective is to search and find correlations between the research outcomes and basic geographic coordinates (altitude, longitude and latitude) of particular measurement stations and comparing all the results achieved for the selected climatic elements. There are two major contributions of this work. In the first place, it presents new knowledge in the field of climatic time series, particularly in connection with the strength and development of their seasonal component, further for instance analysing the relation between the distribution of a residual component and the geographic coordinates of the measurement stations. Another contribution lies in an extensive application of statistical methods of climatic time series analysis. Several types of methods were used, having employed both widely and rarely applied statistical tools (linear trends analysis and Box-Jenkins methodology respectively) as well as those used for the very first time (moving-seasonal time series).

Klasické a nově navržené popisné charakteristiky: porovnání výběrových vlastností na základě Monte Carlo simulace

Na základě Monte Carlo simulace bylo provedeno porovnání estimátorů klasických a některých nově navržených měr variability, relativní variability, šikmosti a kurtozy. Z celkem 40 různých populací bylo pořízeno vždy 16 000 výběrů o rozsahu n = {7; 15; 23; 31; 47; 63; 100; 200; 350; 500; 1000}. Z každého výběru byly vypočteny hodnoty estimátorů měr založených na momentech, kvantilech, L momentech a jejich modifikacích a robustních měr založených na mediánu funkce lineární kombinace pořádkových statistik. Na základě experimentu bylo provedeno porovnání výběrových vlastností jednotlivých estimátorů z hlediska variability, vychýlení a rychlosti konvergence jejich výběrových rozdělení k normalitě. U estimátorů vybraných charakteristik byla dále na základě experimentálně odhadnuté průměrné síly testu posouzena vhodnost jejich použití jako testového kritéria při testu o rozdělení, z něhož výběr pochází. Zároveň byla porovnána síla závislosti estimátorů nově navržených charakteristik s estimátory momentovými s cílem posoudit, zda je možné danou charakteristiku skutečně považovat za vhodnou alternativu charakteristiky momentové. Výsledky ukazují, že estimátory momentových měr jsou vyhovující pro popis souboru pouze při výběrech z populací nepříliš odlišných od normálního rozdělení. S rostoucí odlišností od normality rychle roste relativní variabilita i vychýlení jejich estimátorů a projevují se různé anomálie v jejich chování. Vhodnou alternativou k mírám založeným na klasických momentech i kvantilech by se mohly stát míry založené na L momentech, jejichž estimátory vykazují ve většině případů nejlepší výběrové vlastnosti a zároveň vykazují vysokou míru závislosti s hodnotami estimátorů momentových charakteristik. Modifikace L-momentů, tzv. LQ- a TL-momenty, nepřinášejí oproti mírám založeným na L-momentech žádné zlepšení, v některých ohledech vykazují výrazně horší vlastnosti.
