The bend profile manufacturing by combination dies
Kummer, Michal ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Císařová, Michaela (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes the creation of the technological process for shelf clutch production. The shelf clutch will be made of material 11 321 by cutting and bending technologies. The first part of thesis includes the theoretical description of cutting and bending technologies. The second part contains calculations and design proposal of final combined cutting and bending tool and also selection of pressing machine. The thesis contains the unit block layout of the combined cutting and bending tool and detailed drawings of cutting and bending parts of the tool. The shelf clutch drawing is included too.
Design of cutter head with Harmonic-Drive application
Tkadlec, Dušan ; Dosedla, Michal (referee) ; Holub, Michal (advisor)
This master´s work deal with design two axis cutter head with possible variants drive of axis. The part of this work is also technical– economics valuation of single variants, calculation torque and force from motor head and design taking head in two axis. Cutter head should be applicated to boring and cutting headstock given to type with posibility of adaptive exchenges spindle.
Testing of cutting tools coated with nano-crystalline composites
Flodr, Vojtěch ; Humár, Anton (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the characteristic of coating methods and their division, on the morphology of defects and cause of wear in coated cutting tools of sintered carbides. The experimental part is focused on a comparing cutting performance testing of indexable cutting inserts coated with nanocrystaline composite TiAlSiN at the longitudinal turning.
Production of the valve seat
Kraval, Jiří ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (referee) ; Žák, Ladislav (advisor)
This project developed within the bachelor studies of B-STG submits a proposal of a production technology of saddle valve made of EN AW – ALMG3 material. Based on a literary study of the problem of cutting, drawing and calculations manufacturing of the component in a production die was suggested. The production die uses a normalised component and is tightened on LEN 63C eccentric press (produced by ŠMERAL Trnava), with nominal drawbar pull 630 kN. The conclusion of the thesis deals with the economic benefit of the suggested manufacturing technology.
Machining of titanium alloys
Kinc, Jiří ; Humár, Anton (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis describe titanium and titanium alloys from the perspective of charakter, production and use. Thesis gives information about difficulty connected with machining titanium by basic machining methods. Titanium alloy Ti6A14V was turned in practical part. Intention was to measure cutting force and specific cutting force.
FEM for machining simulation
Vojtek, Aleš ; Madaj, Martin (referee) ; Zouhar, Jan (advisor)
The introduction to turning basics, chip separation process, cutting force generation and description of the finite element method. With this knowledge, a cutting simula-tion of AISI 1045 steel was done for 3 different rake angles, which was simplified by using an orthogonal machining model. The next simulation was cutting of AISI 6150 steel with the use of a 3D model of the grooving insert. The results of these simulations were then compared to the experimental results, and feasibility of finite element method was determined together with future recommendations for acquiring more pre-cise results.
Machining of titanium alloys and difficult-to-machine alloys with milling
Kouřil, Petr ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis was specialized on the issues machine difficult-to-machine alloys. In theoretical part of thesis was characterized groups of these alloys and analysis of their machinability. A face milling of the titanium alloy Ti6Al4V has been experimentally tested and statistically assessed. A total force loading and specific cutting force analyses have been done.
Drilling technology solution in the maintenance center of small firms
Huňáček, František ; Mouralová, Kateřina (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The basic characteristics of the drilling technology, view of tools for drilling, descriptions of the parts and angles of twist drill are described in the first part of this project. In the second part of this project there are descriptions of various drilling technologies, the choice of cutting conditions and the choice of cooling and lubricating emulsions and oils. The range of tools, machinery and clamping equipment in the workshop machinery maintenance sugar factory in České Meziříčí are described in the next part of the project. Also specific technological conditions for the production of precision holes (with a use of a calculator) was determinated. After that their production was performed. In the end the possibilities of production machinery maintenance workshops during production of holes using drilling tools are shortly valorized.
Cutting force analysis when drilling with twist drill
Hon, Pavel ; Humár, Anton (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
Theoretical part of this project contains basic characteristics of drilling technology, shows summary of drilling technologies and tools used for drilling, detailed description of twist drill, forces and loads analysis when drill, twist drill stress analysis. In experimental part of this project there are some investigations on twist drill geometry CZ001 made by company NASTROJE CZ, s.r.o. Cutting edge geometry and web thickness is measured on 3D scan of this drill and the results are compared to conventional products. Course of moment of cutting and course of thrust force is done by experiment where the recessed hole was drilled. Course of both loads is compared to long-term results on conventional drills. As application of the achieved results the cutting force position is calculated and stress and deformation analysis is performed.
Proposal for the production of variants of flat sheet metal parts with holes
Hamáček, Petr ; Vonka, Vladimír (referee) ; Špaček, Jindřich (advisor)
HAMÁČEK Petr: Proposal for the production of variants of flat sheet metal parts with holes. The final work of bachalors studies, 3th grade, academic year 2008/2009. FME VUT in Brno, Institute of manufacturing technology, department of metal forming and plastics. Bachelor work elaborated in the scope of bachalor studies of the branch B2307 submitted variants of production for flat sheet metal parts with holes. Theoretical part of the thesis is pointed to theory of cutting and description of personál cutting process. Shearing machine LEPP with shearing force 1000 kN is selected. Blanking puch and blanking are made from 19 class alloyed instrumental steels, heat treated according to graphical documentation. Cuttingin machine is using standardized components and it is solved by particular frame into eccentric machine. In the work there are implied necessary calcullations for both variants including economical evaluation.
