The importance of sport for promoting town tourism in the example of ice-hockey

Main goal of this thesis is to find out, whether the fact, that in Znojmo used to be played the highest ice-hockey league in the Czech republic, led to the economic development of this region and to the development of tourism in this region. The theory part is focused on the theories which refer to this problem, particularly the theories of tourism and theories of economy of sport. The practice part at first analyses the Znojmo region and the ice-hockey club in Znojmo. The next chapter compares the budgets of the ice-hockey club in the different leagues, which the club used to join. The next chapter finds out the consciousness of Czech inhabitants of the town Znojmo. There is presented the opinion of the inhabitants of Znojmo about their town joining the Extraliga of ice-hockey and about the financial subsidies from the Znojmo municipality budget for the ice-hockey club. Next chapter analyses, if the ice-hockey led to the higher occupancy in local hotels. Last chapter of the practice part tells the opinions of the former mayors of Znojmo about the ice-hockey in Znojmo. There are summarized all the information at the end of the thesis and concluded the concrete results.

Analysis of the supply of sightseeing tours in a selected city in the Czech Republic (Znojmo)

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze the current supply of sightseeing tours in Znojmo as well as creating a unified set of tours, which could be helpful in practice. The theoretical part deals with the terminology of tourism. In this thesis a sightseeing tour is defined and the participant of tourism is classified as a main holder of demand. The thesis introduces the city Znojmo in general. The analytical part characterizes a typical visitor of Znojmo and their most demanded objects in the city. The analysis of the supply of sightseeing tours provided by two agencies is made. Results from both analyses are compared and evaluated in the end of the thesis.

THE EMPLOYMENT OF DISABLED PEOPLE IN LABOUR MARKET IN ČESKÉ BUDĚJOVICE AND ZNOJMO REGIONS

A lot of handicapped people can{\crq}t do their work and practise with appropriate qualification. Life of health infliction or handicapped people is influenced from biological, psychological, spiritual and social point of view as well. Due to infliction human being has to accept new way of life, improve their knowledge, create new social contacts, get into new environment, simply change completely the way of life. It{\crq}s upon each and every person, how to came up with it{\crq}s own health infliction, new situations which brings crisis to the different dimensions of human life. Employers, employment office staff, family and other people as well could help to create better conditions to allow them to stay in their original native environment where they feel best. There are also cases, where handicapped people can{\crq}t attend their working place or perform their job at all. The best solution for those people is to provide them contacts from proper social environment to ensure social, psychological and spiritual development to avoid ingraxescent of their health condition.
