Microformats for the semantic web

The work deals with the technology of microformats, which is not yet known and widespread. It is used for marking semantic content of web pages, which increases not only their optimization, but also userfriendliness and thus the marked content is understandable to humans and easily machine-processible. The main task is the description of technology. Explain the principles of the use, benefits, way of application including examples and expand awareness of its existence. The research work is targeted at professionals in the field of information technology in the Czech Republic. The work includes a sample application, whose source code is semantically marked by microformats.

Road transport of dangerous substances represents a risk of emergency situations in which the transported substances can get out of control. The transport of dangerous chemicals has always been actual problem. It has been regulated by international directives, which determine the rules for handling of dangerous chemicals. Emergency situations related to a cleanup of dangerous chemical spill require an action of the Integrated Emergency System. This joint action is regulated by legislation and special regulations. This thesis is aimed to the legislation concerning the transport of chemical substances. It provides information on the vehicle designation used for transport of dangerous chemicals, and the identification and features of these compounds. The thesis also characterizes current situation in the district of the town Třeboň. It also describes the Integrated Emergency System, its structure and activities in case of emergency event caused by dangerous chemicals. As an example, the thesis explains procedures for individual bodies of the Integrated Emergency System during the joint action after an accident of the vehicle transporting hydrofluoric acid.

The point of my work is to analyze the transport of dangerous goods in the European Union. In the context of the theme I did a deep description of the problem. I focused on capturing activities that are necessary for the proper and safe transport of hazardous materials to the customer. These activities are part of the whole complex of diverse processes that are necessary to ensure the transport of these shipments.

Analysis of the development of hotel business in the Czech Republic and neighboring countries and the impact of financial crisis in this area

Hotel businesses in Czech republic has changed dramatically in last 20 years. Therefore, it is interesting to follow its development and see the most influential aspects in this area. However, so far there are none publicly available studies of Czech hotel industry development. The aim of this thesis is to explore the various phases the industry went through and point out those factors which influenced the current situation the most. First of all, the analysis of the development in Czech republic is presented. Consequently, the comparison to the neighbor states is discussed to show relatively how well or bad the business was evolving. The thesis is based on statistical models created with the software STATGRAPHICS and Excel. The gained results show that one of the main reasons of the current downfall is the ever higher market supply. On the other hand, the always blamed economical crises, proved to have lesser influence upon the downfall than originally expected. Finally, the thesis states the reasons of the decreasing occupancy and proposes an increase in the quality of service as a possible solution.

The teoretical part of my essay focus on how to work integrated logistic system. On the other hand the practical part involves analyses and full desctriptions of the efficiency and integration in the logistic processes. I try to figure out improvements that would make some processes easier.

Diplomová práce se zabývá charakteristikou a fungováním mediace v obchodních věcech jako jednou z metod alternativního řešení sporu. ? První část se zabývá technikou mediace jako takovou, odlišením od ostatních ADR a přístupem právníků. ? Druhá část se zabývá úpravou jiných států, kde je popsáno několik variant a systémů, jak může být mediace zapojena do právního systému daného státu. ? Nejdůležitější součástí diplomové práce je popis právní úpravy mediace v České republice a zamyšlení nad její budoucností. ? Ve čtvrté části jsou uvedeny a rozebrány některé konkrétní nebo modelové situace mediace na kterých je konkrétně ukázáno fungování mediace, výhody a vztah k soudnímu řízení.

Diplomová práce je z oblasti silniční přepravy nebezpečných látek a věcí a zabývá se koncepcí zvyšování kvalifikace pracovníků silniční přepravy s aplikací na vybranou dopravní firmu. Teoretická část obsahuje východiska Dohody ADR, praktická část aplikaci na firmu Petschl Transporte (Česko) s.r.o. a analýzu koncepce zvyšování kvalifikace pracovníků, podílejících se na tomto druhu přepravy v dané firmě. Součástí práce jsou i návrhy na opatření.

Cílem práce je monitorovat možnosti, které se v současné době spotřebiteli v České republice nabízí, pokud chce svůj spor s podnikatelem řešit jinou než soudní cestou, a popsat již existující systémy ADR ve vybraných členských státech EU. První část je věnována obecné charakteristice ochrany spotřebitele a spotřebitelské politice České republiky a Evropského společenství. Zbývající část se již konkrétně zabývá systémy ADR.
