Ubiquitous Learning

This MSc Thesis was performed during a study stay at the Université de La Rochelle, France. This work is devoted to the ubiquitous learning and the ontology mapping. The former part presents the environment of ubiquitous learning and available tools. The aim is to show the way to the mobile content creation, using the LMA software and the realization of the virtual learning environment - installation, testing and setting up of the Moodle open source course management system. The ontology mapping part acquaints readers with ontologies and ontology mapping, the aim is to analyze available resources, to choose suitable tools and finally to realize own implementation of ontology mapping algorithm. This work is a part of the MAPLE project, the overall objective is to enable realization of pedagogical framework for a mobile, active and participative learning environment.

Vrchní ontologie UMBEL z hlediska mapování ontologií

Cílem této práce je uvést čtenáře do problematiky sémantického webu a propojených dat a blíže popsat vrchní ontologii UMBEL, její mapování na další ontologie a vytvoření nového mapování na UMBEL ontologii. Práce čerpá z dostupných publikací a oficiálních webových stránek týkajících se daného tématu. K prohlížení samotných ontologií je použito také nástroje Protégé a k mapování ontologií na UMBEL ontologii je využita aplikace LogMap a webové služby UMBEL pro hledání referenčních konceptů. Přínosem práce by měl být popis ontologie UMBEL v českém jazyce a vytvoření nového mapování na ontologii UMBEL. Práce nejprve stručně přiblíží, co je to sémantický web, propojená data a mapování ontologií. Dále popíše UMBEL ontologii, slovníky na LOV a mapování ontologií na UMBEL ontologii. V poslední části nabídne vytvoření nového mapování na UMBEL ontologii.
