The first part of the work summarizes the theory of industrial computers, their history and the theory of electronic waste. Subsequently, the old and new components are individually analyzed. Furthermore, the work deals with the modeling of parts and their 3D printing. The last part of the work shows the programming of a web application with a relational database for connecting to a kiosk. 	Přestavba průmyslového počítače pro aplikaci kiosku Bužga, Petr ; Šoustek, Petr (oponent) ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (vedoucí práce) Průmyslové počítače jsou konstruovány s ohledem na funkčnost po mnoho let. Tato práce se zabývá případem, kdy byl i přesto takovýto počítač vyřazen z laboratoře jako nefunkční a je žádoucí se pokusit oživit alespoň některé části. Práce se nejdříve zabývá analýzou možností přestavby původního počítače Lauer VS386. V práci je navrženo využití RaspberryPi. Dále pak práce navrhuje ovladač pro původní maticovou klávesnici zabudovanou v předním panelu počítače a také kioskovou aplikaci pro správu docházky zaměstnanců pro ověření funkčnosti přestavby. 	Planned Obsolescence Nejedlá, Jana ; Pešek, Ondřej (vedoucí práce) ; Štědroň, Bohumír (oponent) Planned obsolescence is the term used to describe incentives of companies to make durable goods faster obsolete. The aim of the study is to make a big picture and real situation about planned obsolescence practising and consumer disposal behaviour. First part addresses the theoretical background and provides comprehensive overview through different aspects of the good's durability issue and planned obsolescence characteristics and influences. Second part in further reference to the information provided in theoretical part examines the situation of specific durable products - laptops. From survey's results on consumer attitudes towards durability of laptops and real case study on Apple Inc. and its reliance to planned obsolescence, recommendations to the more sustainable consumption of consumer electronics are presented.
