Adaptation of Brtnice Castle

The basic objective is of adaptation of the castle is integration to tourism development in the region and simultaneously make the castle and town more attractive for residents. The resort´s own castle is functionally divided into three centers. The first courtyard is the tourist center of the region, the second courtyard recreation center and third courtyard cultural centre. Three courtyard are surrounded by restored rampart promenade, which also connects the castle courtyard with recreational and educative castle park, in which are stationed various pavilions informing tourists about the historical, architectural and natural values of Brtnice and its environs. In the park is also located amphitheater for cultural and musical events. The castle has become a great park of activities pulling into its bowels town visitors and inhabitants of Brtnice themselves. The main dominant of the complex is new tower Brtnice, which grows on the historic footprint of burnt tower. High-tech architecture of tower attracts visitors of the city and is the starting point of castle viewing. It brings together the functions of the Information Center, phaenomania, souvenir shop, cafe and roof garden, which is also a cafe terrace and outlook. Oriels of tower are oriented to the surrounding important historical monuments. Visitors pass through peripheral “gallery of knowledge” and recognize beauty of the town and its environs.

Jako téma bakalářské práce je zvolen život a dílo slavného brtnického rodáka, designéra, architekta a profesora Josefa Hoffmanna v kontextu střední Evropy. V první části se práce věnuje nejdůležitějším etapám jeho života, od jeho školních let v Čechách (Brtnice, Jihlava a Brno), přes vídeňská studia u Otto Wagnera a jeho členství v nejdůležitějších výtvarných seskupeních své doby, až po stipendijní pobyt v Itálii. Ve druhé části jsou zmiňovány zásadní architektonické stavební realizace a rozsáhlá část pojednává o proslulém období jeho designérského působení uvnitř dílny uměleckých řemesel (Wiener Werkstätte), která produkovala předměty užitého umění v neuvěřitelné šíři od módních oděvů, přes šperky, až po kompletní zařízení domů. Řada z těchto předmětů pro domácnost se dodnes vyrábí. Třetí část bakalářské práce se zabývá způsobem působení Hoffmanna na designérské scéně s jeho odkazem do současnosti. Nadčasovost jednoho z nejslavnějších designérů první poloviny 20. století se snaží zkoumat poslední část práce, která se věnuje porovnání Hoffmanna s některými dnešními umělci a potvrzuje jeho evropský přesah.

Pamětní kniha městečka Brtnice z 18. století
KOURKOVÁ, Lucie
Hlavním úkolem předkládané diplomové práce je kritická edice rukopisu Knihy rozličných starožitných památek Trhové Brtnice 1728 ? 1768. Jedná se o pamětní knihu, která vznikla v 18. století v prostředí poddanského městečka. Edice je pojata tak, aby byly zachovány všechny formální znaky novověkého textu. Další část práce stručně shrnuje historický vývoj Brtnice. Důraz je kladen na 17. a 18. století, především na fungování patrimoniální správy a poddanské samosprávy. Jádrem doprovodného textu je rozbor pramene z hlediska vnějších i vnitřních znaků, jeho interpretace a možné využití v historickém bádání.
