The attitude of parents to deferred school attendance of child.

The work is focused on the attitude of parents towards deferred school attendance of the child. In the theoretical part, the author deals with the concepts of school maturity, school readiness, school immaturity and problems of postponement of school attendance. The practical part describes the diagnostic method of assessing school maturity, which uses Pedagogical-psychological consulting room in České Budějovice (PPP). It also describes the communication of the PPP with the child and parents. Based on the available informations about parents, which the PPP has at one?s disposal, are analyzed types of parents according to their attitude to deferred school attendance of the child.

Biology knowledge of the 9. year- class pupils at town basic schools

This thesis deals with the testing of knowledge testing of the natural history of pupils in 9th classes of primary schools through didactic test. The knowledge of natural history was tested with 118 pupils (67 boys a 51 girls) in districts ofPříbram a Mirovice. The best knowledge of pupils was found in the field of zoology, and the lowest knowledge in the field of inanimate nature. The results were compared with the results of the survey in primary schools in Brno, in district of Příbram, in Kolín and in South Bohemia region (2012). At village schools pupils demonstrated the highest knowledge in the field of zoology, compared to other regions, where pupils demonstrated the best knowledge of human biology.

Panteon heraldických figur jako cesta k logotypu

Abstract In my thesis, I am dealing with heraldry as a sciense of two worlds. There is an introduction as well as its historical function in the first chapter. It?s origin, evolution in time and value for modern society along with the basic rules for creation of crests as heraldry artifacts is listed here as well. In the next chapter, heraldry is defined as a specific form of art with fixed and stable order. Part of the work is a convolute consisting ten drawn pictures of heraldic figures, which are based on heraldic tradition, but closing on its modern image of logotypes. Description and process of their creation are included in the practical section along with the design of utilization heraldry as a source of inspiration for teaching art on a second grade in elementary school.

Education of basic programming in Scratch environment

The work deals with programming education on primary schools in Scratch programme. Investigation was carried out by questionnaire on primary school in theoretic part. The investigation shows the facts relating to teaching programming. Scratch is compared with Baltík and Imagine Logo, which are the most commonly used on primary schools. The work also includes an analysis of teaching materials that are available for teaching Scratch. Results of the analysis of teaching materials are shown in a graph. Procedure of teaching was made on the basis of this analysis. The procedure of teaching is divided into twelve subjects. Pupil sheet and guideline for teacher is created for each subject.

Practical Cognition of Nature in Teaching in primary school

The Bachelor thesis reveals the extent of practical learning about nature in the teaching of biology in primary schools and the first stage of secondary schools. Depending on the individuality of each school can be concluded that the practical activities taking place at all schools but in different degrees of the scale and frequency. It was also found the variability in student?s interests in certain topics in biology and interest in developing their own skills in relation to practical activities in activating lessons.

Home experiment by physics education at basic schools

This diploma thesis deals with increase of motivation of primary school pupils for school subject ? physics, focusing on preparation for lessons of physics by means of experiments carried out at home. The target of this thesis is to produce a set of worksheets and supportive educational material as an instrument which might increase the interest of primary school pupils in this subject and which might become an important motivating element. In the process of production of the worksheets theoretical principles of a specific area, results of a scientific survey related to the topic and results of individual research assessing opinions of pupils and parents on experimental activities performed at home were used. Experimental activity performed at home obviously supports development of physical thinking, sensitivity, creativity, improves particular key competences and activates interest in physics as a branch of science. Pupils discover yet unknown facts which establishes foundations of authentic learning of natural laws by a human.

Passive and active smoking and its prevention among primary school pupils

This bachelor work is called Passive and active smoking and its prevention among primary school pupils. It´s divided in several parts one of which is a description of the process of becoming a involuntary passive smoker, an overview about principal consequences of being active or passive smoker as well as the summary of composition of the tobacco smoke, which is very injurious to human health. There is also a chapter talking about main differences between the influence of the passive and active smoking on human organism. Passive smoking belongs to the most extended global and social problems nowadays and the most endangered group of passive smokers are children living with active smokers at home. Children frequenting elementary schools are very specific group of young people. Active smoking is dramatically extended in this type of schools, that´s way this bachelor work also talks about the prevention, its meaning and possibilities. The last part of this bachelor work is a research realized on the group of 80 pupils as well as their age, family background and particularly experiences with smoking, their knowledge about the prevention of negative influence of smoking on the organism and how important role do the schools and family have in the process of the prevention. The mentioned research was accompanied by the interview with the methodist of prevention of selected elementary school. The conclusion of the bachelor work is the detailed analysis of acquiered information and results.

School in Jemnice in the years 1952-1970

The work is dealing with a description of the life of pupils in a primary school in Jemnice during the period 1952-1970, during the Communist era. Each of the chapters focus in detail on the life of the pupils, principals and teachers who worked at the school, including the after school activities of the students. This includes information on how the pupils spent the time out of school, in which organizations and clubs they were meeting up. In addition, we will also learn what kind of celebrations and festivals were held during this period and what extraordinary events were taking place. The work will also disclose the political situation and what influence it had on the school life.

Realization of primary prevention of risk behavior in primary schools

The purpose of this thesis is the theoretical part to compile insights into the actual concept of primary prevention in the elementary school environment, to analyze the system of strategic planning and management of prevention at national and regional level and analyse tasks elementary school in this area. The practical part will be to monitoring and comparing the objectives and priorities of regional prevention strategies (for example, two regions) and the author then conduct an investigation in an environment of selected primary schools of the regions, their strategy will be subject to an prime analysis. It will focus in this context on the structure of prevention in schools and its continuity to the strategic objectives. Compares also realization of prevention and selects adequate examples of good practice. Based on the research will be formulate recommendations for the realization of primary prevention at the school level.

The Occurrence of Cyberbullying And Its Knowledge at The Primary School Nerudova 9 in Ceske Budejovice

The thesis analyses the knowledge and occurrence of cyberbullying at the chosen primary school in Ceske Budejovice. I focus on the basic terms related to cyberbullying in the theoret-ical part of my thesis, especially on communication by means of Internet, where cyberbully-ingoccurs the most. We can also find there a description of other risks which can internet us-ers get in touch with. There are the assessment of my research, the analysis of individual questions and the verification of given hypotheses in the practical part of my thesis. During my research I have found out, what knowledge the pupils of higher grades of the primary school Nerudova have about the term cyberbullying, how many percent of the pupils experienced cyberbullying, whether the pupils regard cyberbullying as dangerous and what their attitude is to cyberbullying presented as a source of enternainment. We can also get to know where the pupils heard about cyberbullying, who they confided to, if they became a witnesses or a victims of cyberbullying and last but not least, how much do the pupils know about cyberbullying of teachers.
