Hinged adapter of corn header
Řezníček, Milan ; Fajmon, Petr (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
The master’s thesis contains a plan of hinged adapter for cord header Cornpower 8-75 of the BISO Schrattenecker Company. The adapter is designed for threshing machines New Holland. The thesis includes a comparison of the mechanisms used by competitors. Further it contains design of the entirely different mechanism, its kinematics solution of the hydraulic circuit and calculating of the strength using FEM method, including calculation of contacts. The drawing documentation is done in Catia V5 and strength calculations in NX-Ideas and Marc 2010.
Increasing Single Cylinder SI Two-Stroke Engine Performance
Stejskal, Miroslav ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This thesis deals with two-stroke engine design modifications to enhance its performance parameters. The introduction summarizes the various solutions of two-stroke engines. The next part deals with design modifications of the engine power, their implementation and subsequent modification. The work includes strain and stress analysis of the piston, which includes a complete indication of pressures in two-stroke engine. The achieved results of FEM analysis were used to design better piston geometry.
Connecting Rod Design of Diesel Aircraft Engine
Maršálek, Ondřej ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis deals with complex connecting rod design of two stroke diesel engine with regard to minimising its weight. Three versions of design are suggested and for each of them the stress analyses are implemented and the fatigue safety factors are determined. On the basis of results of implemented analyses and evaluation of all the aspects the most appropriate design is chosen and the production drawing is drawn according to it. In the conclusion, hydrodynamic lubrication plain bearings, which are the integral part of every connecting rod, are designed.
Design of General Service Crane, used for manipulation on the deck of the vessel
Dlužanský, Tomáš ; Horák, Michal (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
This master's thesis makes a brief comparison of design variants of cranes for general use on the deck of a vessel. Further, this thesis deals with a design of a crane with a telescopic jib and a single knuckle. An important part of the crane’s design is its kinematic solution, which was modified in the design phase. The last step of a simplified analytical calculation of the jib for design steel construction is given. This preliminary calculation is the starting point for a FEM model and for the following FEM analysis. A stress control is made according to the Lloyd's Register of Shipping agency’s standard for lifting appliances in marine environment and also according to the recommendations of Huisman company. A part of the proposed solution is a selection of main components of the crane. The master’s thesis contains a summary of some operational and other information which characterize possibilities of the crane’s use. This thesis also includes source materials for drawing documentation.
Design of truss jib offshore crane
Palatinus, Peter ; Horák, Michal (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
This master`s thesis deals with the design of an offshore crane jib with maximal safe working load 80 tons and maximal radius 45 meters. The design consists of a design solution of the steel construction and a stress analysis of its FEM model, which was performed using NX I-deas software according to the requirements and specifications of the Huisman company. This thesis includes source materials for drawing documentation.
Stress-strain analysis of lower limb prosthetic
Musilová, Kateřina ; Fuis, Vladimír (referee) ; Návrat, Tomáš (advisor)
This master thesis deals with lower-limb prosthesis. The aim of the first part of this work is stress-strain analysis of trans-tibial prosthesis, which is understand without prosthetic socket and the foam prosthetic feet. Analysis is made using finite element method in ANSYS Workbench 12.0 software. For the purpose of setting up the computational model it is necessary to make few partial models. Model of geometry of the prosthesis is made in SolidWorks 2009. Based on the outputs of stress-strain analysis and the results evaluation, the critical component is chosen and this one is evaluated according to limite state for fatigue. The algorithm of evaluation of named component in the state of high cycle fatigue is discussed in the second part of this thesis.
Design of heat exchanger after ČSN EN 13 445
Lošák, Pavel ; Vincour, Dušan (referee) ; Vincour, Dušan (referee) ; Nekvasil, Richard (advisor)
Diploma thesis is fucused on strength calculation of the heat exchanger according to ČSN EN 13 445. Introductory part introduce problems with the design of heat exchangers. In other parts there are a strength calculation of the heat exchanger according to ČSN EN 13 445, the results of the analysis with their appreciation. Annexes included output logs from the program Sant 'Ambrogio, and drawings documentation.
Methodological guide and digitization of gear pump
Ševčík, Ondřej ; Nevrlý, Josef (referee) ; Nečas, David (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to provide a methodological quide of U10 type gear pump. In the first part of the thesis, analysis of individual pump components including its main parameters is presented. The next part is focused on the identification of the defect suggesting the instructions for the reparation. All the operations such as dismantling, inspection, reparation, and assembly are described in a detail in a form of the technological processes. After the reparation, an operating test was conducted to verify the functionality of the pump. In addition, all the components of the pump were digitized by using SolidWorks CAD system. The last chapter provides FEM analysis of the cogwheels contact. For this purpose, computational system ANSYS Workbench was used.
Comparison of approaches and capabilities for strength calculations of pressure vessels in Ansys Workbench software and SolidWorks Simulation by using FEM
Burian, Josef ; Létal, Tomáš (referee) ; Lošák, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with comparison of approaches for strength calculation of pressure vessels in ANSYS Workbench and SolidWorks Simulation. First chapter introduces methods for design of pressure vessels and its legislation. The following chapter gives basic information about both compared software witch were used for following analysis of pressure vessel. Results were compared according to ČSN EN 13 445 in the last chapter.
Simulation of magnetorheological clutch magnetic circuit using the finite element method
Dlugoš, Jozef ; Růžička, Bronislav (referee) ; Roupec, Jakub (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis analyses magnetic field of a magnetorheological (MR) clutch and works with knowledge of these findings. The first part is treated as a backround research required to solve the thesis. Following section is making a model of MR clutch. Its magnetic field, calculated in the program that use the finite element method (FEM), matches with actual measured results. The last part of the work is lightening the MR clutch, with a respect of the existing magnetic field model.
