Vývoj softwarové aplikace pro zpracování vzorků planktonu
KROČÁK, Vladimír
This bachelor thesis deals with the implementation of a new application for quantitative processing of zooplankton samples and replaces current application in use developed by prof. RNDr. Adam Petrusek, Ph.D. The application will also be used as a framework for further needs of the Department of Ecosystem Biology, Faculty of Science, University of South Bohemia. The application and its source code will be released under MIT license to allow its further development.
The assessment of the NPR Řežabinec pond ecosystem stability.
ŠRÁMEK, Pavel
The first part is characterized by a pond ecosystem and National Nature Reserve Řežabinec in terms of its historical development and creation. Are mentioned methods , the method and system of protection of the site. The paper describes a method of fish farming during the period of the individual plans of care farming in the last five years and the water conditions in the area . The ecosystem is assessed on the basis of available data in the literature to me In our own work we focus on monitoring water chemistry and state recovery tank , especially in terms of development and biomass of zooplankton species representation in the course of one growing season. He also details the fishing and agricultural management and water management conditions in the locality. Marginally judging submerged and littoral vegetation and the presence of water birds. This work demonstrated the dependence of the size of the fish stock on the frequency of a generic representation of zooplankton and the positive impact of lower stocking on the development and stability of the entire ecosystem. Contributes to the stability and sensitive farming in the last period.
Verification of the Relationship between Stock Density and Transparency of Water
CHMELICKÝ, Petr
The given study reveals results which were obtained after having conducted a survey on the physical and chemical properties of water including its transparency, along with zooplankton sampling and the measurement of dynamics related to fish stock growth. This research was conducted in three different ponds with surface areas of 68.2 ha, 48 ha and 5.5 ha, situated in the Protected Landscape Area of Český ráj (Bohemian Paradise). These ponds were stocked with carp in the age group from K2 to Kv, at an initial weight of fish stock 196 kgxha-1, 102 kgxha-1 and 127 kgxha-1. The ponds in question were selected so that they either differ in size, or in the intensity of their fish farming. Plankton samples were collected by using the Schlott Fichtenbauer Bauer probe based on the principle of a Schindler-Patalas plankton trap.
Effect of carp feeding on species composition and dynamics of zooplankton in ponds
ŠAUER, Pavel
Aim of this thesis was an analysis of the feeding influence on species composition and dynamics of zooplankton. The ponds were stocked with common carp (Cyprinus carpio). The theoretical part describes the planktonic communities, seasonal dynamics of zooplankton, pond management, food of carp and methodology. The practical part deals with, based on sampling, analysis of species composition and dynamics of zooplankton.
Comparison of species composition and dynamics of zooplankton communities in ponds with extensive management.
SEICHERSTEIN, Adam
Dynamics and species composition of zooplankton communities were studied in the three experimental ponds (43, 46, and 48) located in VÚRH JU in Vodňany. In all three ponds was carried out extensive rearing of common carp. Zooplankton samples were collected during three growing seasons (2008, 2009, 2010), usually once in each month. Together with zooplankton sampling, water chemical analyzes were also done. Zooplankton diversity and abundance was mainly influenced by the fish stock.
The effect of the economic intervention on the stability of the ecosystem of National Nature Reserve Řežabinec
ŠRÁMEK, Pavel
The work is oriented towards the protection of the National Nature Reservation Řežabinec from the viewpoint of its historical development and creation. There are mentioned methods, causes and its protection. In the thesis is described the way of fishery during its valid from to care plans. I have had considered the ecosystem on the basis of available literature dates. The practical part of the work is aimed on the observation of water chemistry and the revival state of the pond primarily from the viewpoint of biomass development and generic representation of zooplankton during one growing season. Partially, I aim myself on fish stock, submerged and littoral vegetation and the occurrence of water fowl. In the work is proved relation volume of fish stock on the abundance and species representation of zooplankton and positive influence of lower fish stock on the development and stability of the whole ecosystem.
The Occurrence and Basic Aspects of the Biology of Pseudorasbora parva (Temminck et Schlegel, 1842) in a Model Pond System located in the region of Třeboňsko
ČECH, Miroslav
The stone moroco (Pseudorasbora parva) is a invasive little fish whose species origin is not from our waters. It is desirable to eradicate this species from the Czech environment or at least decrease its numbers as much as possible, using an environmental method. The data for the dissertation was found out on a model pond system in Třeboňsko. This complex consists of thirteen ponds 203.1-hectare. The ponds in this locality are highly productive and their average depth is about one meter. The aim of the dissertation was to determine the composition of feed of Pseudorasbora parva and according to this, to assess the potential importance of this species as a rival to the locally bred carp (Cyprinus carpio). The other submission was to map the migration of Pseudorasbora parva in the aforementioned pond system and to determine what part of the pond is the most coveted by this fish and estimate the total number of fish population in some ponds. The use of fingerling nets was one of the methods used to catch Pseudorasbora parva in the shallow water of the ponds. Furthermore fish-pots were used for catching fish in the deeper parts, and drop nets were used for catching in the effluents. The Pseudorasbora parva was present for a whole calendar year in all parts of the system i.e. in all ponds, drains and in their effluents. The stone moroco occurred predominantly at the banks of the pond. The occurrence of fish in the open water was recorded sporadically. The sampling of plankton was carried out with plankton net in different seasons. With exception of winter when plankton was not found, the composition of feed the same during the whole year. Only proportional representation of species of plankton was different. The catching of Pseudorasbora parva was performed in the ponds Pražský, Rod, Láska and Víra, the fish was necropsied for assessment the intestine content. At the same time four carps of age group K2 were necropsied. By the analysis of the intestine content the conformity in the feed consummation by both aforementioned fish species was confirmed.
Food of predatory fish during the flooding of the Chabařovice coal mining pit
KABILKA, Petr
The Chabařovice coal mining pit is currently still under the process of continuous flooding and its area increased up to 174 ha since 2001.Adult perch (Perca fluviatilis) have been the most numerous fish of the lake until 2004. Fish were collected during the ichtyological survey sampling campaigns in June and September.Diet composition was expressed as percent weight, which was calculated for each prey taxon.
Distribution and expansion of planctic cyanobacteria in Czech Republic
Komárek, Jiří ; Komárková, Jaroslava
Planktic cyanobacteria play important role in freshwater habitats in Czech Republic. They develop sometimes in massive water blooms, produce cyanotoxins and must be monitored from hydrobiological and sanitary point of views. Frequency of their occurrence and the species composition change in time and depend on managing of water ecosystems and on global changes of climate. The distribution and occurrence of various species in Czech Republic over last 60 years is reviewed.
The effects of the 2002 flood on the biocenosis of the open water of the Slapy reservoir in the following two years
Hrbáček, Jaroslav
In the two years following the flood, parameters of the transparency, pH, and relative frequency of the flocks of bluegreens are more similar to the parameters in the early nineties than to the values in two years before the flood. There are not clear differences in the presentation of individual groups of zooplankton in the two years after the flood and in two resp. one year before the flood. Significant negative nor even toxic effects of the development of the bluegreens were not observed.
