Use of GIS at the Management of Photovoltaic Power Stations

The Thesis topic deals with the design and implementation of the system for photovoltaic power stations property administration. Due to the scope of the property administered, a solution using geographic information systems has been selected. Functionality of the designed system with data defined for the photovoltaic power stations were verified in the pilot operation. The results of the pilot operation proved efficiency and effectivness of the designed system.

Navigation using a turistic map

The master’s thesis deals with the design and realization of a program that is able to find the shortest route in the tourist map between selected points. The user can select the type of hiking trail. Application also generates terrain heightmap from contour lines and path elevation profile.

City of Pardubice on the maps - development and perspectives

The primary objective of this bachelor´s thesis is to analyze the development of Pardubice on topographic maps, cadastral maps and plans. The work deals with the presentation of the historical city maps since the 16th century, through military maps to the current maps. Part of the bachelor ´s thesis is devoted to vedutas and assess the accuracy of the plot of the city selected cartographic works.

The opening part of my work deals with the history of the Battle of the Three Emperors. Describes the major historical events that led to the battle, procedure of the Battle of Austerlitz and its consequences ,resulting from the french victory. The main part is devoted to mapping funds of troops of the Three Emperors. Examines them in terms of history, comparing topographic and geographic data and procedure of battle management.

Comprarison of maps on the Internet from the cartographic view

This thesis is concerned with compering Internet map servers of the Czech republic. The main topic of the thesis is to contrast various maps on the Internet from the view of cartographic currency, completeness, degree of cartographic generalization, clear arrangement, etc. The last part is devoted to compare the possibilities of using the maps with the convenience of maps from the view of the user.

Web Geographic Systems

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is the presentation of geo-information in different environments. The environment is meant not only the web interface, but also display geographic information in various applications and programs, whose operation is dependent on an internet connection. In the theoretical section describes the map portals and web applications using their maps. The following describes technology for the development and presentation of web applications. Another part is focused on the use of geo-information in the environment of social networks. On presentation geo information in 3D environment is partly focused theoretical part, but above all it is presented in the practical part. The practical part is the introduction of geo information in 2D and 3D form and then its possible use.

Vyhotovení Digitální katastrální mapy přepracováním původních grafických podkladů v katastrálním území Tučapy

Goal of this bachelor work is creating digital cadastral map by method of reprocessing. Reprocessing is scanning analog maps in scale 1 : 2 880 and subsequent transformation with Jung's post transformation the coordinate system S-JTSK. To create a vector graphics drawing was used by program environment of VKM and to transform the post transformation was used by the program Kokes. The result of this work is a cadastral map in electronic form allowing to make changes based on ZPMZ in any interaction program. The final output of the map is in accordance Law n.344/1992 Co. Cadastre of the Czech Republic (Cadastral Act), as amended.

Možnosti využití technologií precizního zemědělství v zemědělském podniku

The topic of my thesis is "Possibilities of using technology in precision agriculture on the farm." The thesis dealt with explanation of technologies used in precision agriculture which can be used in practice and their benefits, problems, economy, present and future of these technologies. Informations were drawn from foreign publications and consulted the issues with experts and companies who are engaged in precision agriculture. I was studying possibilities of using precision agriculture in my research on the farm which manages 475 ha agricultural land. Based on the analysis of the location and farm management I evaluated investment opportunities in the technologies of precision agriculture and their economic benefits for the farm and its advantages and disadvantages.. I found out that not all investments in precision agriculture make sense in specific conditions.
