VANDAS, David

The paper was elaborated on the basis of available literature focused on transportation of dangerous chemical substances, especially on the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road. This Agreement is the crucial document for transportation of dangerous goods both in the Czech Republic and in all states, which acceded to this Agreement. The objective of the paper is assessing the implementation of the European regulations into the regulations of the Czech Republic and mapping the awareness of the public about issues of the transportation of dangerous goods in road transport. By processing specialized literature about this topic, it was found out that the implementation of the European regulations into the regulations of the Czech Republic was very flexible and fast. On the basis of the quantitative research by means of a questionnaire research among the public and drivers working in the transportation of dangerous goods it was found out that the public did not have sufficient information about the transportation of dangerous goods in road transport. On the contrary, drivers transporting dangerous goods are excellently familiar with this issue. With respect to the fact that the public has not enough information about the transportation of dangerous goods, the public administration should provide more pieces of information in the form of leaflets and promotion events. Furthermore, it would be appropriate to include basic information about transporting dangerous substances focused especially on conduct in case of traffic accidents of vehicles transporting dangerous substances into the courses and follow-up training at driving schools. Nowadays, a majority of the population possesses a driving licence but in the theoretical lessons, risks of the dangers of transportation of dangerous chemical substances in road transport are not mentioned.
What factors affect obtaining penalty points by region in ČR?
Farbiak, Marek ; Mičúch, Marek (advisor) ; Janíčko, Martin (referee)
The bachelor thesis define factors which motivate drivers for obtaining points for violations of traffic offense. Factors will be tested by method of fixed effects. The economic theory comes from G. Becker, which serves as basis for the tested hypothesis. The accepted hypothesis tests whether the number of traffic policemen, average wages and density of transport in each region of ČR are statistically significant and if they have direct impact on obtaining points. The hypothesis also predicts presumed impacts of each factor. Calculation proved the real impact and statistical significance of all factors. It was also proved that preferences of would-be criminals is also determined by the economic and social environment formed by public policies. However, due to the opposite impact of the density of transport networks the econometrics indicates that we have to reject part of the hypothesis.

Fuel prices and their impact on road transport
KOTEK, Jiří
Development of road transportation in Czech republic was compared with driving fuels prices development by the simple statistic examination. In was discovered, that volume of transported goods is developing indenpendently on prices of petrol and diesel in each year during last ten years. This fact is explained by business enviroment of goods transportation. Companies are obligate to deliver the goods by contract apart of the price of fuels. Outputs of goods and personál transportation rising along with prices of fuels, which is caused by growth of economy in Czech republic leading do larger amount of possible contracts and oportunities. Statistic analysis therefor confirms the hypothesis stated above. Prices of driving fuels have no influence in growth neither the structure of vehikle park in Czech republic. The amount of vehicles rises steadily last ten years indenpendently on fuel prices development. Economy crysis only slows the rise down.

SEDLÁČEK, Marek
The current development of transport involves lots of pros, but also lots of cons includ-ing real risks. On one hand, there is a need to transport many people at reduced time and costs and on the other hand there is a risk of incidents. New and modern motorways and I. class roads plus using most updated means of transportation allow us transport more people more quickly, in even more convenient and safe way. Car accidents interventions are considered as routine procedures of the integrated rescue system in domestically as well as worldwide and their coordination is not a big deal for emergency teams. However, complications may occur when performing the intervention on the road with more lanes and with a center dividing strip as well as when there is a higher number of injured or a greater area of intervention, such as in the case of a chain accident. Sections of the integrated rescue systems are trained to handle such extraordinary events and follow new methodology, which is step by step put into practice. Within the process of its application, a major role plays the synergy trainings of the integrated rescue sys-tem, which require the approach to the actual conditions simulation. This thesis was produced to serve the needs of the intervention commander and pro-vides a comprehensive view on the issue of managing interventions where a higher number of casualties and injured occurs and related rescue systems on motorways and I. class roads. The thesis also brings information on new trends in training rescue teams for this type of events. It focuses on South Bohemia, D3 motorway is under construc-tion and on its first part Mezno {--} Tabor, which was opened in December 2007.
