Motivation of Preschool Children to Art Activities

This bachelor´s thesis deals with different means of motivation to artistic activities which are more or less suitable for the preschool children. The theoretical part, which is based on secondary literature, is focused on key terms of preschool child development. These are motivation, graphomotorics, experience-based learning and also last but not least artistic expression. In the practical part a set of pairs of artistic activities were designed. These activities were distinguished from each other by different means of motivation which was applied on the specific sample of children. By using research methods, observation and product analysis, the subsequent evaluation of the artistic pair was carried out. Concluding part is concerned with summary of conclusions and the photo documentation is added to this work.
Benefits of experienced pedagogy for adult education

Barchelor essay, Role of experience pedagogy for adult education is about the impact of experience courses in adult education and personal improvement. Essay is devided in two parts. The first teoretical part presents description of opinions on key words of experience pedagogy and on components (feeling, experience, experince reflection, facilitation, group dynamic, motivation, feed back) The second part consist of quantitative research and is focused on description of circumstances which accompany definition of benefits of experience courses for individuals. Quantitative research helped to receive data which are analyzed and evaluated.
The Adaptation courses and their use in conditions of Hotel Schoul in Pilsen

This thesis deals with the organization and importance of so called adaptation courses for first grade students of study and vocational field of study. The opinions on importance and usefulness of these courses at High school of Gastronomy and Tourism in Pilsen are various even after twelve years of the courses existence. There is a large group of enthusiastic teachers supporting the courses but also a large group of their opponents. The theoretical part focuses on the summary of experiential learning, methods and its inclusion in the current school system. It deals with the scheme, objectives formulation and structure of the adaptation courses. It also provides a brief overview of organizations implementing the courses ?on request?. The research part is intended to find out the significance of these courses concerning the attitude of the participants, both the teachers and first grade students. It also focuses on the opinion of future students and it marginally detects the view of respondents outside the school. The results and findings from the research are summarized in the last section. Based on the synthesis the new, optimized procedure of the courses is proposed. At the same time one day programe is designed in case of cancelling the residential courses.
Distance, Experience and Aesthetic Object

The main hypothesis of this bachelor thesis is a defense of formation of the ?distance? ? which works as stimulus for aesthetic experience ? by means of which, the author tries to explain the specific characteristic of the ?aesthetic reception? as the main topic of the work. The difference of a stage of development of a pubescent and an adult with application of the experential education.

The thesis is dealing with the comparison of differnces of evolutional specialities between a teenage individual (a pubescent) and an adult with application of learning by experince (experential education). The differences which are described in the thesis are related to principles of experential education. The aim of this thesis is to provide with a picture of advantages as well as risks of experiential methods applied to individuals of both development stages. The first chapter specifies experiential learning with the focus on generally valid objectives and principles. The second section is concerned with the pubescent period. It mainly focuses on the personality development, cognitive processes, an identity, a socialization, an experience, a peer group. The third chapter is dealing with the same evolutional aspects but of adults. In the last chapter there are mentioned the differences of stage of development of both groups applying the experential education.

This thesis represents possibilities, impacts and liabilities which arise from participants? influencing of experience courses by techniques of experience pedagogy. In the first part of the thesis basic concepts of experience pedagogy are determined. Concepts are principle of experienced pedagogy, its goals, techniques and instruments used to reach the goals. My thesis is dealing with the principle of willingness, comfort zone, Kolb?s learning cycle, the state of Flow, reflection and challenges. In the second part the term position and consequently items which serve to changes throughout the usage of techniques of experience pedagogy are defined.
Mental Risks of Experiential Programme Depending on Participants´ Age

The dissertation explores the potential psychological risks in accessing pedagogy of experience, during adolescence. The beginning of the thesis characterizes the basic pedagogical concepts related to the pedagogy of experience. It briefly describes the experiential pedagogy as an approach, its objectives, principles. An important part of this thesis is the theme of psychological security, focusing on adolescence. Furthermore, the dissertation focuses on crisis intervention, ie helping the experiential course participants in a risk situation, which they cannot handle alone. The last part is devoted to the summary, and compares the views of selected experts on the issue of psychological safety and potential risks in experiential education. The first half serves as an introductory part. The second half is more specific. It includes the most important part, which is a comparison of views of experts, and a list of psychological possibilities and risks of experiential education.
EDUCATION IN THE KINDERGARTEN AS AN IMPULSE AND WAY FOR DEEPENING A CHILD´S EXPERIENCE

The thesis focuses on drama education as a method for preschool children in the kindergarten. This method can intensify the children's experience. The theoretical part explains the terminology, principles and methods of the drama education. The educational methods used in the kindergartens are discussed in greater detail and the corresponding areas of these and the drama education are shown. The specific characteristics of the kindergarten and the importance of teacher's personality are also explained. The practical part describes the techniques of the drama education as they are used in daily interactions in the individual stages of a child's attendance in the kindergarten. The realized projects and activities are shown with the chosen technique of the drama education is introduced there as well. The final project focuses on deeper children's experience. The method of the association words was chosen. The children's answers from three different kindergartens were compared. One of the kindergartens promotes the drama education in working with preschool children. The aim of the thesis was a confirmation of a hypothesis that these children have richer imagination and that they are more creative.
Experiential Education Approaches - Comparison of Various Methods

Bachelor thesis deals with methods of comparing experiential education in our country and abroad. The theoretical part describes the concepts, diferent types of experience and game. Another part describes the historical development of experiential education and current status. I deal with detail the Prázdninová škola Lipnice and Outward Bound, their development, components, methods, principles and models. At the end of my bachelor thesis I comparing different approaches to their programs. The annexes contain a structured daily programs of the schools. On the basis of which prove different approaches to education, even if their ultimate educational goal is the same.
Doing Philosophy with Children as a Way of Experience-Based Leisure Education

The thesis presents possibilities and hazards resulting from the combination of experience-based education methods and those of doing philosophy with children. Having defined the terms used, it introduces the aims, key features and basic methods of leisure education; furthermore, experience-based education is described in more detail together with its fundamental elements: dramaturgy, adventure, reflection and games. The latter two elements are understood to be the links between experience-based education and Philosophy for children program. Then, the follow-up reflection on the interface between Philosophy with children and experiential activities is the substantial part of the thesis. Besides other topics, the philosophical aspects of games and reflection (review) as possible ways of experience-based philosophical inquiry are dealt with. Thus, in the closing part of the thesis, the potential for connecting philosophical inquiry and the experience itself is outlined.
