The aim of this thesis is to assess the information system and its modification. The base for processing the analytical and design part is theoretical root of the problem. Methods used in the analysis are from project management environment. The outputs of this work are focused on procedure and method of implementation, and management of human resources. Solution proposals are focused on the company operating in the information technology segment.

This master's thesis deals with an assessment of specific information system of the Red Hat Inc. company, and consequent suggestions of potential changes. The thesis is divided into three parts. The introductory one is focused on theoretical knowledge which together with performed analysis has become a fundamental base for the system assessment and suggestions of changes leading to process improvements.

This diploma thesis focuses on the company INAT s.r.o., operating in the engineering industry. Focus of the work is to assess the currently used information system and propose appropriate changes to improve it. The work is divided into three main parts. The first part is an overview of the theory of the issue, the second part deals with detailed analyzes of society and the information system, and the last part consists of their own proposals for improving the information system along with economic evaluation.

The title of this diploma thesis is Assessment of Information System Effectiveness for Financial Activities and Proposal of Changes for Improvements. The aim is to propose changes, which could help to improve the current state of the information system used in the company's processes and to eliminate perceived risks. The first element describes the basic theoretical concepts related to information systems and information technology. Then the current state of the examined information system, from which the second part of the work is reflected and determined. The second part contains analyses and methodologies, which will ensure the achievement of the set thesis aim. In the same part, the proposals or recommendations that will lead to the improvement of the current situation are identified. In the final part, the outputs of the thesis are discussed and economic evaluation of the changes is prepared.

The content of this diploma thesis is the assessment of the information system and proposals of changes that aim to increase its overall level. In the work we will find a division into 3 main chapters, which are: theoretical background, analytical part and own proposals of changes. In the theoretical part we will explain the most important terms necessary for understanding the whole work. In the analytical part we will analyse the current state of the information system and introduce the company for which the proposals are being processed. The conclusion is the actual proposal of changes and their economic evaluation.

The bachelor thesis is focused on assessment of the information system of selected company. After a detailed analysis of the company's current information system, the current state and theoretical threats for society are evaluated. Subsequently, proposals for changes to the system are described. The result of the work will be delivered to the management of the company for review and subsequent reflection on changes in the IS.
