This master´s thesis deals with the constructional and calculation design of the boiler for burning wood and sub-bituminous coal. The work is divided into several parts. First, stoichiometrics calculation and enthalpy calculations of air and flue gas are performed. It is calculated heat balance of the boiler, the boiler losses and the thermal efficiency of the boiler is determined. After designing the combustion chamber thermal calculation is made. Then, the dimensions and individual heating surfaces are proposed. At the end of the calculations are controlling the overall energy balance.

Boilers for house heating

This bachelor thesis is focused on topic cover liquid fueled boilers with power up to 200 kW used for the heating family house and block of flats. Distribution and characteristics of liquid fuels, formation and processing of oil as raw material in liquid fuel production is reviewed in the introduction. First part of this thesis is mainly focused on heat oils. Boilers applicable to house heating, theirs energetic score and specificity and types of liquid fueled boilers are reviewed in second part. In the last part of this thesis is maked a calculation and shows comparative economical computation of convenient types of boiler application.

For set parameters of a steam and a boiler feed water is designed a thermal and dimensional plan of the boiler, allowing high efficient requests. A boiler is used for combustion of blast furnace gas contains 10% of a natural gas used as a stabilisation element.

This bachelor thesis deals with various heat sources for heating the family house. The first part of the thesis is a research, where the history of heating is summarized, energy sources and types of heating systems are divided and then traditional and unconventional heat sources used in domestic heating are compared. In the second part of this work are made designs of heat sources for heating a specific house. And in the end of the work is made an economic evaluation of the designs.
