Measurement of the nonstationary flow fields around the vibrating profile with optical methods. Part II - Evaluation
Horáček, Jaromír ; Vlček, Václav
Report deals with the evaluation of the measurement of the nonstationary flow fields around the vibrating 18% double arch profile with the method of the synchronized interferometry. The profile had two degrees of freedom.
Preliminary results from the interferometric flow fields measurement in the model of the regvibratioulating valve with the vibrating plug
Vlček, Václav
The interferometric method was used for visualization of the flow field in the 2D model of the regulating valve. Plug had two degrees of freedom and measurement was realized when the system lost the stability by flutter. The flow field in the entrance part of the model was evaluated and time variation of some quantities is presented.
Interferometric flow fields measurement in the model of the regulating valve with the vibrating plug
Vlček, Václav ; Luxa, Martin ; Bula, Vítězslav
The schlieren and interferometric methods were used for visualization of the flow field in the 2D model of the regulating valve. Plug had two degrees of freedom and measurement was realized when the system lost the stability by flutter. Miniature pressure transducer probes were used to obtain information corresponding to the losses and pressure fluctuations in the near field of the vibrating plug.

The contribution presents preliminary results of interferometry measurements of flow field around a vibrating double circle 18% profile above the critical airflow velocity for loss of the system stability by flutter. The measurements were performed in subsonic wind tunnel for prescribed phase delays during one oscillation period of the profile with two degrees of freedom for rotation and translation.

Pulsní speklová interferometrie
Dvořáková, Pavla ; Bajgar, Vlastimil ; Trnka, Jan
The contribution deals with an application of ESPI for measuring a deformation profile of a thin steel plate loaded by a focusing a ruby laser beam. Monitoring of the normally loaded test-object determined Michelson-type ESPI sensitive to out-of-plane displacement.
New trends in the metrology of geometrical quantities
Lazar, Josef
The contribution deals with an overview of trends in modern fundamental dimensional metrology. This is since the introduction of the definition of metre derived from the vacuum speed of light the domain of laser optics and interferometry. The fundamental etalons of length are highly stable optical oscillators – lasers and the primary measurements of lengths are performed by interferometers. This overview covers the newest results of development of stabilized lasers and interferometry of high resolution in the sub-nanometre range especially concerning the results achieved at the Department of Coherence Optics of the Institute of Scientific Instruments of the ASCR in this field.
Experimental verification of general method of phase shifting
Dobiáš, Jan
The paper is about experimental verification of general method of phase shifting.
Optical methods in experimental mechanics
Hrabovský, Miroslav
The paper deals with experimental methods used in experimental mechanics, especially in experimental stress analysis. High attention is given to optical methods - classical and modern optical methods and its future in mechanics. They are classical interferometry based on optical interference and superposition, stereometry, photoplasticity, moiré, holography speckle photography etc.
