Multifunctional building Brno - Líšeň
Rudolecká, Anna ; Fišer, Jiří (referee) ; Odvárka, Antonín (advisor) ; Pěnčík, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis examines the creation of individual stages of project documentation to the study of the new building from subject AG035. The project deals with the new multifunctional house located in the district Lisen on the plot of land p. No. 4418/1 in the cadastral territory of Brno. The plat is situated on a sloping terrain. The project takes into account solving of surrounding areas as well, particularly in front of the area and connection to the public transport infrastructure. The mass of the object consists of four large blocks. Two of them are double-storey and two are single-storey. Blocks are interconnected by a glass tunnel, set on a symbolic pedestal. The pedestal is formed from two recessed floors of underground parking. The object is four-storey with two overground floors, which are mostly commercialized in the form of lettable spaces (e. g. for business, services, administration, etc.). Another part of the floors is used for technical and hygienic facilities. Two underground floors can be used by employees and visitors for car parking. Access to these floors is provided by a car lift, personal lifts and two stairs that connect all floors. The principle of the draft consists in the intention to place the mass of the building in the environment in the most sensitive way, so that the building doesn't act heavily, such as the surrounding settlement, but naturally follows the surrounding two-storey houses. That was achieved by the material solution of the above-ground floors. Five materials prevail in the exterior. Extensive vegetative roof, face concrete, two types of fitted facades (DuPontTM Corian® facade panels + glass panels with a sign symbolizing the crowns of trees and shrubs; other types of facade are vertical metal lamellae). Another predominant material is glass, which is used for the interconnection tunnel and the north and south facade.

Hanousek, Ondřej ; ing.arch. Lukáš Ležatka, Ph.D (referee) ; Pavlovský, Tomáš (advisor) ; Sedláková, Markéta (advisor)
This thesis deals with the construction of two multifunctional houses in the district Židenice in Brno. The existing unsuitable one-story residential building will be completely replaced. The dominant feature of the place is a chapel, located right in the middle of the crossing of the streets Nezamyslova and Táborská. The proposed buildings are connected both construction-wise and functionally by an underground parking lot spanning the area below both buildings and between them. Both objects react with the height to the mean number of stories of the streets on whose ends they are located, and they increment them by one, as more intensive city density is expected in the district in the future. The northern building has four, the southern three stories. This difference is emphasized but harmonized at the same time by the skewing of both buildings under the same, but opposite angle. This creates perfectly sunlit terraces at the southern facade of the northern building, while the southern building increases the area of its floor plan with height. The twelve appartment units in the northern building all have their own balconies, with extra acces to the communal exntensive green roofs. In the southern building, there are two duplex flats with access to their respective section of the roof by their own staircase. The additional functions apart from housing are a small administrative unit, two rentable commercial spaces and a café located in the lucrative street crossing. Together with the proposed trees, the buildings create a „canvas“ for the chapel, which allows it to become the true dominant element of the street and the vicinity.

Apartments in the multifunctional building are not required. The site is under the level of the acces street and is currently used as a playground. The design of the building is trying to make the most of the plot despite the steep slope. The northern side of the first underground floor, unlike the other sides, is recessed into the terrain. The main aim of this work is the solution of a new multifunctional building in Židenice, Brno, on the Corner of Táborská and Nezamyslova. The conception has been set by the place which is very close to the Chapel of St. F. of Assisi and by urban plans an local people’s needs and interests. The building has been designed not to damage the look of the local houses and streets and the first floor has been supposed to be used for another purpose than housing. The house was originally designed only like the first floor building. There are other houses which have got from 3 to 5 floors in neighbourhood streets. Among other places there are grammar school, school of Arts, shops and services. The problem was to place this building among the houses with various height by the special shape of the roof. The final effect causes no disharmony in the streets. This house is situated among the others perfectly in the corner position and keep the other houses‘ height from both of the streets. The aim of the multifunctional object is filled up by the first floor and housing in the floors above. In spite of the fact that there is a lack of the car parks the new underground parking site has been set up. The flats here have been designed according to local people’s interests.

Hudečková, Miriama ; Hrabec, Josef (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor) ; Pěnčík, Jan (advisor)
In my bachelor thesis I´m focusing on technical aspect of architectural studies, which was elaborated in a summer term of third class as a studio focusing on interior. Bachelor thesis provides drawing for Documentation for building permit and Documentation for the realization of construction. The topic is Variable conference hall in Prague, which should be used as a main hall for czech chamber certified engineers and technicians active in construction. An existing building is situated in Prague at Sokolská street, there are two parcels in the courtyard available to build this variable conference hall. Original building has only one small hall, which is not suitable because of a capacity. The aim of this project is to design a hall for 250 people, which will be connected to the original building without any collision. There has been changed holes, partition walls also floor and level of a first floor in the original building, which was necessary for smooth using of a conference hall. As a part of the project is to design also an associated rooms to a hall like reception in the original building, just in the entrance of the building and a dressing room just next to it. A next of important element of extension is a foyer situated on the ground floor and connects to the entrance hall. Access to a sanitary facilities is from a foyer across a small corridor. From a foyer there is an access to a catering and a library, which is situated in the original building. There is following the variable hall, where is the access to the room of a sound engineer. This room is reserved for a preparation for a speaker, to store a chairs, technical facilities of the building and also a necessary fire escape to the neighbor parcel. Foyer continues to the second floor, where we can find a shop, here experts mostly meet the others. From a second floor of the foyer is possible to entre to the gallery situated just above a main hall.
