The Non-Traditional systems of the Public Transport - TVR

This Master's Thesis deals with unconventional systems od public transport - TVR. The first part describes the theoretical foundation for the installation and functioning the public transport counting the technical requirements. The second part deals with unconventional systems, so called Tramways on tyres, which is run by two models - system Translohr and TVR. The Master's Thesis is focused on the economical and technical evaluation of each types of the public transport, mainly of the TVR, which is operated only in two cities over the world.

Transport network Liberec and surrounding

The work will generally describe transport network based on theoretical definitions of particular terms. History of transportation segments in Liberec and its surrounding areas will follow up. The theoretical part applied directly to the circumstances of Liberec and its surroundings will be defined then. All segments of transport will be analyzed, including complementary types of transport such as water-carriage or cable-cars. More details will be given to public transport, integrated system and fares. The goal is to give readers a holistic view of all Liberec traffic. I will also mention flaws accompanied by proposals to improve identified weaknesses.

This Bachelor's thesis deals with public transportation in Teplice. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts, outlines the use of transport facilities and integrated transport system. The practical part focuses on the detailed operation of public transportation in Teplice. It deals with the history and with the various segments of public transport. The thesis also analyzes the shortcomings and presents possible solutions.

Transport network in Ostrava

This bachelor thesis is focused on the public transport. It is divided into two parts. The theoretical part contains short characteristics of the transport infrastructure. It is followed by a description of the logistics processes in public transport. Then different types of transportation come: tramway, road and rail. The end of the theoretical part is aimed at the public transport in the city, particularly public transport system and integrated transport system. The practical part focuses on the transport network in the city of Ostrava. The beginning of this part contains the history and the road and rail networks. Then the public transport system (buses, trams, trolley-buses), fares and prices are presented. There is also mentioned the nearby international airport and biking trails in the city. At the end the integrated transport system of the Moravian-Silesian Region and summary are given. The goal of thesis is to give the readers a comprehensive look at the public transport in Ostrava.

The Quality of services of The Prague Public Transit Co. Inc. and possibilities of its improving.

This Bachelor's thesis deals with the quality of public transport services. The aim is to assess the quality of services of The Prague Public Transit Co. Inc., by the means of identification of the problems associated with it from the customers'point of view and to suggest a possible improvement through solving problems. To fulfil this objective a questionnaire was used in research among customers of the business as well as the results of measurements made by the firm itself. At the end, there are solutions proposed to the problems.

Public transport in Prague

This bachelor thesis is oriented on the problem of public transport in our capital city as you understand from the title "Public transport in Prague". The word is divided in theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part it is shown widely Prague's transport, it is described here the history, present time and possibilities in the future. It is mainly oriented on underground, trams and buses. Further it is described the ticket system, tariff zones and function of pick up company of the cars who are parked wrongly. The practical part is made of results on a research questionnaire that I made among students in the university. The questions in the survey are related to how much the public transport is used, the comfort of transport, the way of paying and security from the point of view of the students in the university. I analyzed the results of the questionnaire and I tried to give possible solutions to the problematic parts.

Theoretical part contains information about the history of public transport in the capital of Belarus, and describes the administrative division of Minsk. The practical part deals with the analysis of public transport from different angles: prognostication, planning, organization, and control. In addition the development of public transport is described and ways of improving the whole system of public transport in Minsk are proposed.

This Bachelor's Thesis is focused on public transport in the Český Brod area. It is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on railway and bus transport, because these two transport subsystems are in Český Brod. The practical part is focused on the Prague Integrated Transport, railway transport, bus transport and continuity of railway and bus transport and it's optimization. The continuity of the two transport subsystems and it's optimization is the main objective of this Bachelor's Thesis.
