Representation of Text and Its Influence on Categorization
Šabatka, Ondřej ; Chmelař, Petr (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The thesis deals with machine processing of textual data. In the theoretical part, issues related to natural language processing are described and different ways of pre-processing and representation of text are also introduced. The thesis also focuses on the usage of N-grams as features for document representation and describes some algorithms used for their extraction. The next part includes an outline of classification methods used. In the practical part, an application for pre-processing and creation of different textual data representations is suggested and implemented. Within the experiments made, the influence of these representations on accuracy of classification algorithms is analysed.
Text Classification with the SVM Method
Synek, Radovan ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis deals with text mining. It focuses on problems of document classification and related techniques, mainly data preprocessing. Project also introduces the SVM method, which has been chosen for classification, design and testing of implemented application.
Text Data Clustering
Leixner, Petr ; Burgetová, Ivana (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
Process of text data clustering can be used to analysis, navigation and structure large sets of texts or hypertext documents. The basic idea is to group the documents into a set of clusters on the basis of their similarity. The well-known methods of text clustering, however, do not really solve the specific problems of text clustering like high dimensionality of the input data, very large size of the databases and understandability of the cluster description. This work deals with mentioned problems and describes the modern method of text data clustering based on the use of frequent term sets, which tries to solve deficiencies of other clustering methods.
Automated Web Page Categorization Tool
Poté by měl nástroj zvládnout přiřadit naučené kategorie k dříve nespatřeným webovým stránkám. Nástroj by měl podporovat více kategorií a jazyků. Pro vývoj nástroje byly použity pokročilé techniky strojového učení, detekce jazyků a dolování dat. Nástroj je založen na open source knihovnách a je napsán v jazyce Python 3.3.
Methods for Information Extraction in Text Documents
Sychra, Tomáš ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
Knowledge discovery in text documents is part of data mining. However, text documents have different properties in comparison to regular databases. This project contains an overview of methods for knowledge discovery in text documents. The most frequently used task in this area is document classification. Various approaches for text classification will be described. Finally, I will present algorithm Winnow that should perform better than any other algorithm for classification. There is a description of Winnow implementation and an overview of experimental results.
Recognition of emotions in Czech texts
Červenec, Radek ; Smékal, Zdeněk (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
With advances in information and communication technologies over the past few years, the amount of information stored in the form of electronic text documents has been rapidly growing. Since the human abilities to effectively process and analyze large amounts of information are limited, there is an increasing demand for tools enabling to automatically analyze these documents and benefit from their emotional content. These kinds of systems have extensive applications. The purpose of this work is to design and implement a system for identifying expression of emotions in Czech texts. The proposed system is based mainly on machine learning methods and therefore design and creation of a training set is described as well. The training set is eventually utilized to create a model of classifier using the SVM. For the purpose of improving classification results, additional components were integrated into the system, such as lexical database, lemmatizer or derived keyword dictionary. The thesis also presents results of text documents classification into defined emotion classes and evaluates various approaches to categorization.
Exploitation skid steer loaders possibility.
Blažek, Jaroslav ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
The thesis deals with posibilities of uses for skid steer loaders. It considers this problem from the viewpoint of the finding of optimal machine. For these purposes the thesis contains well-aranged tables of 101 types of loaders, which are by 15 leading companies manufactured. On the basis of these tables are the categories created. In every category is on the basis of determining criteria choosen the most and the least optimal skid steer loader.
Speech act theory in the field of theology in Mark´s gospel speaking about Jesus as the Son of God
FAJMON, Blahoslav
The purpose of this dissertation is to inquire into the application of the Speech act theory in the field of theology. First, philosophical part introduces distinctive topics of language-philosophy found in Wittgenstein, Austin and Searle. The main focus of this summary lies on Searle`s categorization of speech acts. If we approach Searle`s categorization from the perspective of Wittgenstein`s philosophy, we could understand his categorization in functional and not ontological terms and therefore we find a certain liberty to modify Searle`s categorization with regard to analysed phenomenon. In the beginning of the theological part we analyse the limits of the application of the speech act theory in the case of the confession of faith. Consequently we construct categorization of the speech acts of faith discourse based on its communicative and transformative dimensions. Afterwards we focus on one of the main types of faith discourse, namely the petitionary prayer. During analysis of the petitionary prayer in the Old and New Testament we gradually introduce considerable insights of theologians who applied Austin`s and Searle`s concepts in their work. These are followed up by our own observations. Second section of the theological part of the dissertation is concerned with the application of speech act theory in exegesis of particular texts, namely those passages in Mark`s gospel which speak about Jesus as the Son of God. Speech act theory evidently could not serve to settle exegetical disagreements by always locating the precise illocutionary point of every speech act, however it proves itself as a good tool for conceptual orientation and its application brings valuable insights.
Options of automated categorization of contracts
Bereš, Miroslav ; Jelínek, Ivan (advisor) ; Oškera, Radek (referee)
My bachelor thesis is focused on automatic categorization. The main goal is to examine actual approaches in automatic categorization, propose methodology for an experiment and perform the experiment. The experiment is done in order to measure success rate of automatic categorization with use of machine learning. It is performed on contracts obtained from public administration's web pages. The bachelor is divided into two parts, theoretical part and the experiment. First one focuses on analyzing theory which explains the subject matter, there are also described current approaches in automatic categorization. Second part describes methodology proposal of the experiment and performing of the experiment. During the process of the experiment, there are created models that are applied on control group. The experiment's outputs are categorized documents. These documents are used to monitor the success rate of automatic categorization. In order to measure the success rate, there is software called Apache OpenNLP used in this experiment. The theoretical part and proposal of the methodology are written based on studying foreign professional literature, mostly obtained from electronic and information sources.
Taxonomy of cloud services
Staňková, Zuzana ; Karkošková, Soňa (advisor) ; Vencovský, Filip (referee)
This thesis called "Taxonomy of cloud services" deals with description and categorization of services in the field of cloud computing. It aims to theoretically describe and approach this whole provisioning of ICT services model, to analyze the two leading providers of cloud services, and bring a new perspective on its taxonomy. The theoretical part defines the term cloud computing, its definition and a brief description of the history. Attention is paid to individual components, characteristics and infrastructure. It defines basic theoretical models of cloud computing categorization and at the end it devotes several chapters to security of the technology, its advantages and disadvantages, as well as the question of legislation. The practical part of the thesis concerns at first an analysis of two leading providers of cloud services, with the greatest attention given to examining the characteristics that these providers for their products give. Consequently, it creates a model for generalized multi-level taxonomy of services in the cloud based on the investigated characteristics. At the end of the practical part is the use of taxonomy demonstrated on simple application example and the entire work is summarized.
