Design of a one-span slab bridge

Bachelor thesis deals with the design of slab bridge structure.The purpose of the bridge is to transfer traffic across a river. This work includes design of two potential variants. The chosen variant is a slab of trapezoidal cross-section made from prestressed concrete, which was assessed to serviceability limit state and ultimate limit state. Internal forces were determined by computing program Scia Engineer 2015 and compared with manual calculation, using method of resisting width. This work also includes static analysis and drawing documentation.
Prestressed slab structure using SFRC

This thesis deals with the design and solution of a slab bridge structure. There are two varies considered - prestressed concrete structure and prestressed structure using steel fiber reinforced concrete. The aim of the thesis is to assess a contribution to application of steel fiber reinforced concrete in serviceability limit state and ultimate limit state. At the end of thesis is an evaluation of possibility to design this type of structure from prestressed steel fiber reinforced concrete.
Bridge on the I/55 road

The diploma thesis deals with design and assessment of the main structure of the road bridge which leads the road I/55 over the highway D1. The thesis contains three designs of the construction. The aim is to propose solutions to the new bridge construction due to its unsatisfactory compared to the existing bridge reconstruction project . There are three studies bridging and selected variant trapezoidal plate further processed static opinion. The design was judged by the ultimate limit states and usability. Slab bridge in Staré Město

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design of bridge construction over the river of Krupá located near the city of Staré Město. The load bearing system is composed from one prestressed concrete span. The structural design was made in two variants, which were compared between them. For calculations of first way was used the software of Scia Engineering and second way was calculated by simplified manual method of effective width. All calculations were performed according to actual standard EN.
Slab bridge in Český Krumlov

The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is the design a new supporting bridge construction across creek Polečnice in Český Krumlov. This object is located on the 1st class road I/39, at kilometer 13,027. The objective is the design of a perpendicular one-span construction, which is proposed in three variants. The first variant is a slab from post-tensioned concrete with a variable height of max. 0,950 m. The second variant is composed of prefabricated concrete beams VSTI 2000-21/0,9 coupled with a reinforced concrete slab with a thickness of 0,200 m. The third variant is similarly of prefabricated concrete beams T93-21/0,85 coupled with a reinforced concrete slab with a thickness 0,200 m. For detailed assessment the first variant was chosen with a length of bridging of 18,080m. The calculation of load effects is done by computer softwares Scia Engineer 14 and IDEA StatiCa and compared with a manual calculation according to current standards.
Slab bridge over a local brook

The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is to design a one field slab bridge over a local brook. The supporting structure is from prestressed concrete with the lenght of 18,00 m. The load effects is calculated by Scia Engineer 2013.1 and compared with manual calculation. The supporting structure is assessed for the ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state. Static assessment is done by hand calculation acording to CSN EN 1992-2.
