Multipurpose sports hall
Svoboda, Filip ; Horáček, Martin (referee) ; Pešek, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with structural design of a load bearing structure of a roofing of a sports hall. Span of the structure is 37,7m, length is 56m and height is 10m. Main construction material is steel, grade S235. Main load bearing structure is made of frames with axial distances of 6m. These frames are made of truss with triangular cross section. Frame has variable cross section at both ends. Frame is curved and has different radiuses in the middle and at the ends. Global stability is carried by two roof bracings, which are between two frames. Internal forces were calculated in software scia engineer.
Steel structure of swimming pool roof
Krchnák, Martin ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the design and assessment of steel structure of the swimming pool roof. The supporting structure of hall has 40.00 meters span, 50.00 m length and 10.53 m height. Main construction material is steel, grade S355 and S235. There were compared 2 possible variants of the roofing, and one of them was calculated in detail. There is developed a static analysis of the main load-bearing parts of the structure, including joints and selected details. The supporting structure of roofing consists of the polygonal wrapped lattice structure made of steel circular in the transverse direction.
Steel structure of sportshall roof
Altoff, Tomáš ; Šmak, Milan (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design and static assessment of steel structure of sports hall roof. The object has a ground plan in the shape of a rectangle. The length of the sport hall is 58,5 m, width of structure is 44,0 m and the height is 13,995 m. The object is situated in the Ostrava city. There were done three variants of the hall. One of them was assessed in detail. The supporting structure is made up of lattice trusses in the shape of the circular arch. The main structural element is steel grade S235.
Experimental analysis of anchor zones of reinforced concrete elements strengthened with steel plates
Vepřek, Karel ; Láník, Jaromír (referee) ; Žítt, Petr (advisor)
Anchorage method of external reinforcement for verification anchor areas by experimental analysis. Design and manufacture of trial units for laboratory testing. Running tests of chosen mechanical qualities of trial units. Experimental analysis of trial units in laboratory and creation of mathematic model by Athena software.Evaluation of experimental analysis and comparing with figures of numeric analysis and statistical calculation.Graphical comparing of results and concluding overall assessment.
The steel roof structure of a tennis hall
Šašinka, Jakub ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the design and assessment of steel structure of the roofing of the sports hall. The supporting structure of hall is 20.00 meters span, 39.80 m length and 11.99 m height. Main construction material is steel, grade S235. There were done 3 possible variants of the hall, from which one of them was calculated in detail. It is prepared by static analysis of the main load-bearing parts of the structure, including joints and details. The supporting structure of hall consists in the transverse direction from the curved spatial lattice structure made of steel circular tubes.
The roof structure of a bus station with facilities in Vrchlabí
Vondráček, Vít ; Hron, Lukáš (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The subject of bachelor's thesis is design and assessment of steel load-bearing construction of bus station in Vrchlabí. It is designed as a co-operating load-bearing steel pillar based structure with the construction of the outdoor platform. The design was considered in four different options for inner building. Followed was mainly the weight of inner structure with respect to the roof deck. The selected option is then incorporated into the scope of the entire structure. Design and assessment was conducted in accordance with the applicable standards and by using a computer program Scia Engineer.
The roof structure of a multipurpose hall in Poděbrady
Houška, Daniel ; Puchner,, Josef (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The aim of this the bachelor thesis is a design of the supporting steel structure of the roofing for the multi-purpose sports hall in Poděbrady. Since a wide range of sports will be played in this sports hall, its layout and ground clearance are proposed accordingly. Prefabricated bleachers, which were not the solved in this thesis, will be part of the hall. Supporting facilities for the hall are located in the nearby buildings. It’s a single steel rectangular hall with a cylindrical roof. Curved beams were used as supporting elements. The beams will be filled with rods installed in a perpendicular system. For a structural analysis Sci Engineer 2011.1 was used. Selected elements were assessed by manual calculation.
The design of ETICS using insulation core made of aerated concrete
Machala, David ; Zach,, Jiří (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with theoretical suggestions of contact self-supporting insulation system with an insulating core made of porous concrete. The text prepared knowledge about ETICS system, the properties of porous concrete are thoroughly described, including the history and the most often used technology for production of porous concrete. The conclusion is made by comparison of economical and thermal insulation criteria using optimizing calculation and the applicability criteria of proposed ETICS are stated.
Money Illusion and Sunk Costs
Javor, Matúš ; Musil, Martin (advisor) ; Dvořák, Jiří (referee)
Bachelor thesis on the topic Money Illusion and Sunk Costs deals with irrational behaviour of individuals, or more precisely with effects, which cause such behaviour. Namely, it is the case of phenomenons of money illusion and taking sunk costs into account. The main purpose of the thesis is to summarize theoretical knowledge about the phenomenons and subsequently, using the experiment, apply and verify gained theoretical knowledge on representative sample of individuals.
Probabilistic reliability assessment of anchoring reinforcem, ent in mine excavations and underground workings
Janas, P. ; Šňupárek, Richard ; Krejsa, V. ; Krejsa, M.
The paper briefly reviews one of the proposed methods of probabilistic reliability assessment of anchoring reinforcement, usable in mine excavations and underground workings. Application of this concept – software „Kotvení“ was especially developed for this purpose using DDFPM (Direct Determined Fully Probabilistic Method).
