Platform Unity 5 - characteristics and use in the development of 2D computer games
Varga, Ervin ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Vondráček, Martin (referee)
This thesis is aimed to describe the gaming development environment Unity, its accessi-bility to users, market position, advantages and possibilities for creating 2D games. The thesis focuses most on how to use tools to develop 2D games from the very beginning to various options of release them on platform Windows. Thesis describes tools for simulat-ing the physical laws such as gravity and collisions, as well as audio, camera, work with light effects, user interface, tools to create scenes, switching between scenes, as well as creating the game menu. These tools are shown on a project, which serves as a demonstration for how to use them. The thesis also describes the largest competitors in field of game engines, their ad-vantages and disadvantages. Furthermore, the history of Unity, the possibility of selecting a programming language as well as the advantages and disadvantages of their use in Uni-ty. From the available languages was selected language C#, in which projects were devel-oped.
Analysis of differences between languages Java and C#
Hartman, Ondřej ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Suchan, Vladimír (referee)
Main topic of this thesis is to describe differences between two programming languages. It is specifically about programming language C# developed by Microsoft Corporation and programming language Java, created by Sun Microsystems, developed in these times by Oracle Corporation. Bachelors thesis analyses their conceptions, their approach to defini-tion of generic date types, differences in date types and date members, operators and com-pares possibilities of C# LINQ set of features with Java Streams API with the same examples. All differences are demonstrated by samples, most of them are part of the pro-ject, attached to this thesis.
Platform Unity 5 – its properties and usage for development of 2D computer game
Maťha, Luboš ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Vondráček, Martin (referee)
The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to focus on tools for game development support. This study is divided into two parts. The first part describes situation on the market with game engines, concretely it focuses on the analysis and description of the mentioned market. The subject of the second part is one concrete game engine, Unity. In this part its development environment is described and as well its GUI, basic components and functionalities. After this the functionalities are being demonstrated by the development of a simple 2D platform game. Results of this study are objective view on the situation on the market with game engines, the description of the Unity environment and the description of 2D game development with the 2D game itself.
Development of Information System for Student Organization
Vakoč, Michael ; Bruckner, Tomáš (advisor) ; Cahlík, Ondřej (referee)
The main theme of presented thesis is a research conducted in purpose of finding the best possible software application for supporting event management in student organization, event management in particular. In order to achieve the goal of my thesis I analyzed the operations model of two different student clubs, operating at University of Economics in Prague. After the analysis, I carried out market research in order to find the best possible fit. Because of the fact, that I did not find any suitable solution, I proposed a construction of new information system. The following development of proposed web application is also part of this thesis. For building the solution, I used number of different technologies, mainly ASP.NET MVC and Microsoft Azure. The final application has contributed to day-to-day efficiency of Bussiness IT Club.
Add-in in MS Excel for creating models of system dynamics
Vlach, Michal ; Mildeová, Stanislava (advisor) ; Dalihod, Martin (referee)
This work deals with system dynamics. Its main task is to create and description of the add-in to Excel that allows users to model the stock and flow model directly in Excel. Furthermore, there is discussed about the general theory of system dynamics, systems and models. There is also described the history of programming languages and their development to C #, in which the supplement was created. The thesis also presents competition created add-in.

Návrh a implementace algoritmu SLAM pro mobilní robot
Ondráček, Jan
This diploma thesis deals with the implementation of selected simultaneous locali-zation and mapping (SLAM) algorithm for mobile robot and testing of this algo-rithm. In theoretical part there is a research that describes various existing SLAM algorithms. One of these algorithms is selected for the implementation based on the selected criteria at the end of the research. Practical part of the thesis deals with the implementation of selected SLAM algorithm in particular programming language and with its testing on real data. Computer simulation in which model of the robot travels through the model of Q Building of Mendel University in Brno is created for the purpose of testing.
