Comparison of microstructure of standard and modified fly ash autoclaved aerated concrete
Fleischhacker, Ján ; Kulísek, Karel (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
Nowadays, the amount of produced fly ash and fluidized ash is huge, so it is important to find ways of its proper use.Significant influence in field of fly ash consumption is production of autoclaved aerated concrete. Most important factor in production is properties of raw materials such as mineralogical and chemical composition. The study of raw materials is important to understand the mechanism of hydratation, tobermorite formation and mineralogy of final product. In present study, we investigate influence of raw materials to mineralogy of autoclaved aerated concrete, significantly to influence of fluidized ash on quality of autoclaved aerated concrete. Closure of study is design of the methodology, specialized in field of bachelor’s thesis study.
Preparation of the alpha plaster by a non-pressure method in H2SO4 solution
Zájeda, Lukáš ; Gazdič, Dominik (referee) ; Dvořák, Karel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the production of alpha gypsum by a non-pressure method in H2SO4 solution. The theoretical part focuses on the current knowledge in the field of preparation of alpha plaster by a pressureless method. The practical part focuses on the possibility of preparing alpha gypsum in sulfuric acid solution of different concentrations.
Methods of Excitation of Sulphate Binder Based on Anhydrite
Adameková, Paulína ; Vavrušková,, Lenka (referee) ; Gazdič, Dominik (advisor)
The presented bachelor thesis is focused on excitation of a sulfate binder based on anhydrite. The thesis is conceptually divided in a theoretical and experimental part. The theoretical part is devoted to the general theory of sulphate binders and anhydrite mortars, at the same time, there is brought view on process of production of historical gypsum binders as well as the current use of anhydrides. In theoretical part of the thesis, there is included study, which is focused on previous research in presented problematics at the THD institution. In the experimental part of the thesis, which is primarily focused on the method of internal excitement, there is elaborated design and mineralogical analysis of input feedstocks as well as the internal waking process itself with subsequent qualitative evaluation using XRD and REM analysis.
Preparation of high performance sulphate binder by nonpressure method in solutions of chloride salts
Dolák, Dušan ; Hoffmann, Oldřich (referee) ; Dvořák, Karel (advisor)
The work si focused on the preparation of high valuable gypsum binder using non pressure method of dehydration of gypsum in solutions of chloride salts. Building on previos research, the goal of bachelor´s thesis is to verify the functionality of the latest model of developed dehydrating device, implement recent designed changes to the device and verify its functionality in the new configuration.

This diploma thesis deals with influence of modifying additives on achieved properties of anhydrite binders. The first part is focused on funamentals of anhydrite binders. Ist second part introduces anhydrite under-layments and their standard requirements. The experimental part is dedicated to anhydrite binders modyfyied by plasticizers, while their final properties are compared.
Calcium Sulphate Binders and Mortars
Koláček, Tomáš ; Vavrušková,, Lenka (referee) ; Gazdič, Dominik (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the study of the binder mortar based on calcium sulphate. The theoretical part deals with the general theory of sulfate binders and anhydrite mortars. Further attention is paid to the standard requirements for these binders and mortars and the evaluation of the existing research at the THD Institute. The experimental part is devoted to research of anhydrite mortar for the production of self-leveling mixtures. The subject of the research was the design of a suitable activating agent, performing technological tests on designed anhydrite pastes and mortars and monitoring hydration.
The Development of Self-leveling Mixture Based on Portland Cement
Kábrtová, Denisa ; Gazdič, Dominik (referee) ; Fridrichová, Marcela (advisor)
Bachelor work is focused on the development of self-levelling compound based on ternary binder system that's comprised from portland cement, gypsum and aluminate cement. For suggested mixtures it's mainly focused on using two kinds of plasticizing additives. And afterwards we assess their effect on the technological properties of developed substance.
Preparation of high performance sulphate binder by nonpressure method
Urban, Karel ; Novák, Jan (referee) ; Dvořák, Karel (advisor)
Institut of Technology building materials and components in FAST VUT Brno is for several years engageding by research of unpressurized production of high sulphate binders and also by developing a dehydrating apparatus. This work follows on this research. The main aim of this work is to prepare the alpha calcium sulfate hemihydrate by method of dehydration in the various solutions the chloride salts of the same molal concentration in an innovative dehydration apparatus. Another aim is monitoring the influence dehydrating solutions on the basis of KCl, NaCl and CaCl2 on the properities of made gypsum.
Binders and Mixtures Based on Calcium Sulfate
