Diagnosis of Selected Didactic Terms In the Semantic Sphere of Students of Teaching of Primary School

This diploma work raises the issues and subsequently the diagnostics selected didactis koncept of Students Primary School Teachers. The aim of this work was to find out to what extent the perception of some chosen didactic concepts are related comparing students of pedagogical faculty and primary school teachers. The theoretical part aims to the technical definition of the semantic differential research method and defines of the concepts. In the practical part the data relating to conception didactic concepts were found and processed by method of semantic differential.
Self-reflection of the Students of Social Work During the Course of Practical Experience

Self-reflection is an integral part of student?s training, including practical training. Self-reflection can be seen as a professional development and also as a development of personality. The aim was to characterize the reflection of social work students within the linking theory and professional practice. In the theoretical part of this diploma, author focuses on the concept of self-reflection, reflection and self-knowledge. Author also briefly describes social work, skills required for the performance of social work and the importance of appropriate professional experience. Author deals with how theoretical knowledge and practical experience can be connected and how personal experience can be reflected. In subsequent chapters is described supervision as one of its goals is self-reflection. The focus is mainly on auto-supervision and development supervision. In the last chapter author tries to outline the impact of ethics, rules and their dilemmas that affect social work. In the research part is set the main objective: "To characterize the reflection of social work students within the linking theory and professional practice." Author also sets two partial objectives: "To determine the nature of reflection of social work students in relation to the length of study." And: "To identify the extent of students' use of reflection during their professional practice." To fulfill the objectives method of qualitative research technique with half standardized interview was chosen. The interview had structure of broadly worded questions that pointed to the knowledge of the problem. The research group consists of students of the Faculty of Health and Social Studies who completed Bachelor and subsequent Master study in the discipline of Rehabilitation ? psychosocial care for handicapped children, adults and seniors. The character of reflection in relation to length of study and level of use of reflection is defined in the proposed hypotheses. The gained finding can be used to improve students' self-reflection and the development of social work professional practice.
On one of the ways to improve pedagogical content knowledge

I consider that one of the options of developing teachers´ pedagogical content knowledge is systematic qualified reflection on their own activity. One of the way to systematic reflection can become a collective reflection with the support of video lessons. The starting point of this paper is Lesson study (a form of workshop based on the traditional organization of Japanese lessons) and finding the way how a similar model could be used in our educational culture.
Utilization of the role of a nurse as a decision-maker in practice in connection with provision of quality nursing care

The thesis attempts to outline the extent to which the decision-making role of nurses is utilized, and the main factors that affect decision-making of nurses within the scope of provision of nursing care. The research has found out that nurses utilize their decision-making role to an insufficient extent hence the sense and purpose of decision-making must be emphasised again. This task may be assumed by managing nurses. Managing nurses may also contribute by more effective defending of competences of nurses. From the factors needed by nurses for effective decision-making, attention should be paid particularly to education. It is necessary to make possible for nurses to extend their knowledge and thus to obtain theoretical insight (e.g. in respect of decision-making) to be used by them while providing care to a patient/client.
The development of self-reflection and maturation of the students of psychology and other helping professions.

This thesis focuses on the importance of personality maturation and development of self-concept in the study of psychology and other helping professions, in connection with the future responsibilities and personal demands of the profession. The theoretical part shows the most important developmental milestones in the formation of personality that makes people reach maturity in performing helping professions. The work is a recurring topic of identity formation and self-esteem as a further important aspect in the development of personality. Are described here as motivation, its importance and some of its specifics in the helping professions. Examines the practical, based on qualitative research among students of selected subjects, the development of motivation for learning and ideas about the future performance of helping professions. Furthermore, as knowledge and experience gained in studying the student can utilize in your daily celebrity and professional life and how these effects reflects the self- reflection of its functioning.
Self - Reflection of the Medical Workers in Connection with Nursing of Patients with Serious Prognosis and Death

This thesis deals with the issue of self-reflection of healthcare professionals in the context of treating patients with hopeless prognoses and deaths. Self-reflection is the ability to think about oneself and one?s own actions, and it is one of the prerequisites of personal development. Similarly, this is so in the profession of nurses, who are expected to show, in performing their professional activities, total professionalism, excellent communication skills, and coping with difficult life situations of patients when nurses are expected to support them. Nurses are frequently confronted with severely ill, dying patients, family tragedies, and many other complex situations that affect their mental health, family life and ultimately the profession. The objective of this thesis was to find out how the care of patients in hopeless states and deaths of patients affect nurses? mental health and work in terms of their self-reflection. The theoretical part describes the nursing process for patients with hopeless prognoses and dying people and communicating with them. It also describes self-reflection, motivation, supervision in palliative care and burnout syndrome. The thesis also deals with the emotions of nurses in treating patients with hopeless prognoses and dying patients, as well as the prerequisites of healthcare professionals for treating patients with hopeless prognoses and deaths. The survey was conducted using qualitative research, the method of questioning, using non-standardized interviews. The research group consisted of eight nurses working in hospital České Budějovice a.s. at the departments of oncology, oncohematology, anaesthetic resuscitation, and apallic unit. The survey was conducted during the period from 20 July 2010 to 23 July 2010. he research showed that the mental state, especially their views of life, of nurses treating patients with hopeless prognoses and dying patients has been and is affected. Most of the nurses surveyed said that they have revalued their lives and now they have other priorities. One nurse said that she is trying to take care of herself more. As revealed in the survey, the care of patients with hopeless prognoses and dying patients does not affect the nurses? work itself. Almost all of the nurses approach these patients like the other patients and take the care of them as a part of their profession. The results of this thesis may be used in professional seminars for nurses.

Reflection and professionalisation of teacher´s work

The need of professionalisation of teachers´ work grows. Therefore the cultivation especially of subject didactical competence is necessary. It includes not only acquirement of mathematical core of subject and its didactic elaboration but also the capability of creation of social climate that is suitable for students´cognition. One of the ways is realisation of qualified pedagogical reflection.

Cultivation of teachersďself-reflection and systematic conduction of collective reflection can change character and promote quality of personaly oriented education. Therefore we aim at creation of supporting conditions for realizing these activies. In this contribution we show how a choosen group of primary shool teachers perceived and evaluated their competencies in the course.
