EX/POSITION

The diploma work titled Ex/position is a project, exhibition, intervention of space, which determined itself as the topic and object of its research (analysis and interest). The Ex/position is an exhibition about an exhibition, a project about a project and a reflection about a context. The main output of the thesis is a curatorial project created in the concept of collaborative practice. The result of it is a collective work in the form of an exhibition. The thesis as a temporary gallery installation is created on the basis of the curatorial and as well authorial concept in collaboration with other authors. They were ideologically, formally, creationally involved in the collective work. The Ex/position reflects these topics: collaboration, the essence of the particular media and their contemporary intermediality, the relation between author and author, author and curator (and their blending) and the creation process of an exhibition.
Narativistic interpretation of selected historical works about the 17th and 18th century in Bohemia

The main topic of the thesis is the monitoring and analysis of narrative structures of historical works based on the basic assumption that a historical text is in some respect a prosaic work. It means that formal structure of historical text can be seen as poetic and, therefore, at least in part, subject to laws creating fictional literature. The main theoretical framework of this thesis is narrativistic work of H. White, which provides tools to analyze the poetic structure of historical text. In addition to the narrative structures of historical text, thesis consider role of the author (historian) of literary work - more precisely, its stylization and functions of the resulting stylization. Primary sources of thesis are Czech historical works dealing with the Baroque, re-catholicisation process and the Reformation in the Czech lands.

The last part will deal with the linking book design and art education in the practical part of the thesis description of the treatment, resulting arises file publishing a collection of selected books by Dan Brown.

This work deals with the methodology of the creation of a literary story. Its aim is to provide the reader with advices from literary active writers, who were somehow engaged in this issue in the past. This work is divided into four parts. The first part is concerned with inborn and gained dispositions which the author should have. The second part introduces the story and its planning to the reader. The third part is about the process of creation a separate story. And the last one the fourth part deals with the process of correction.
Exaction of commitments in the field of copyright law

This Diploma thesis focuses on copyright law and mainly on the individual legal institutions, licenses and agreements, under which the contractual relationship between the author and the licensee if formulated. In the conclusion, the linking with another branch of law, the execution of a decision, proposes a solution for the author of a work defined by the Copyright Act, regarding the recovery of their claims from a licensee, in case they are not compensated accordingly for providing a license to their work. The aim of this thesis is to process and explain these legal issues in such a way, which will enable even an inexperienced reader to understand the sometimes complex legal texts.
Friedrich Gulda and his cello Concerto

In this Bachelor disertation the autor focuses on the austrian pianist and composer Friedrich Gulda and his Concerto for cello and brassband. The first chapter is about his life and includes biographies of the cellists, whose recordings of this concerto are compared in the last section of this disertation. In the middle part is the formal analysis of the concerto to be found. At the end is the list of the sources and enclosures.
Fictional Worlds of Fanfiction

This bachelor thesis introduces basic knowledge about the so-called phenomenon of fanfiction, i.e. a complex of narrative works of literature written by fans. It presents the most significant details and issues of this phenomenon and introduces its place among other works of literature. An explanation of how fanfiction uses a fictional world of a canonical work and a comparison of fanficion and transcript follows after. The thesis discusses fictional entities and the positions of an author, a narrator, and a reader. A summary of the most common terms used in fanfiction completes this thesis.
