Monitoring and auditing in structural funds of EU
Vykouková, Barbora ; Němcová, Ingeborg (advisor) ; Bič, Josef (referee)
This thesis explores the question of the decentralization processes between institutions and other parties involved in auditing and monitoring of the structural funds of the EU. I evaluate the present functional relations of these subjects using document analysis. The thesis follows two levels of analysis, which are compared in the end. The first level concerns the general setting of the systems of relations between union bodies and member states. The second one presents specific situations in the operational program Prague Competitiveness. The thesis disproves the initial hypothesis and claim that the relations on the supranational level tend to be more deconcentrated than decentralized, whereas the system at the national level shows more decentralization characteristics in this specific case.

Theory and practice of cloud computing - analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of transition individuals and businesses to cloud
Holoubek, Jiří ; Svatá, Vlasta (advisor) ; Sigmund, Tomáš (referee)
My thesis concerns with a new phenomenon of the ICT industry -- cloud computing. The thesis is based on the fact that requirements of the customers on the cloud may differ, there is a significant difference between requirements of individuals and institutions (SMB, large companies or public institutions). In this regard, the thesis differentiates the cloud services for private and institutional use. The theoretical part of the thesis concerns with the definition of basic terms and history of cloud computing. Further, I define the cloud distribution model and its segmentation according to the method of deployment. The security represents another important factor, as it is the most important factor for the decision making on the transition to the cloud. Finally, there are other factors such as legal aspects, change of business processes, audit, governance and future development of cloud computing. The practical part concerns with complex analysis of the cloud market offer via cloud providers and its complex monitoring. As already mentioned, I differentiate the market offer for private and institutional use. The analysis of advantages and disadvantages of individual's and company's transition to the cloud and comparison of specific requirements of individuals and companies are another outcomes from this analysis.
Telematic services and usage telematics in insurance
Peterková, Kateřina ; Chlapek, Dušan (advisor) ; Hendrych, Petr (referee)
This thesis deals with a specific area of telematics systems - intelligent transport systems for private vehicles. The main objective is to compare telematics services in the insurance industry in the Czech Republic and in selected foreign countries (UK, USA, Germany and Russia) and propose an extension of these services, which could be implemented in a particular society dedicated to the insurance industry. Proposal to extend the product service from the insurance telematics is drawn through two project plans. The main goal is accomplished through several other sub-objectives, in identifying the theoretical concepts related to these issues and overall definition of telematics for analysis of telematic services. Another sub-goal is to monitor the Czech market providers of navigation systems and vehicle monitoring, comparison and evaluation of the products aimed at this issue. Contribution of the work is mainly mapping market, what products and services are offered. The solution also helps to compare the chosen methodology through the evaluation criteria. Evaluation of this situation will be reflected as a recommendation for a specific provider from the insurance industry. Analysis of products and services is also beneficial for the customer, provides an overview of the products and their evaluation, which basically points out what is appropriate to focus on making these products.
Reporting and Assurance of EU Subsidies
Truhlářová, Eva ; Pelák, Jiří (advisor) ; Roubíčková, Jaroslava (referee)
This thesis is focused on the subsidies that flow to the Czech Republic from the EU budget. The text describes the mechanism by which funds from the EU budget financial resources go to the Czech Republic. In my thesis I also bring an overview of funds and operational programmes that can be used for project financing in a current programming period. The key issue is reporting (monitoring - according to the terminology used in the field of EU funds). The second issue is assurance or audit. Since the entire area of subsidies is constantly evolving (and in the case of the Czech republic it is a relatively "new matter"), there is still a big number of training workshops and information that would support quality and "correct" management of these resources. These activities will support the recipients in completing of monitoring reports.

On the basis of a contract for No. 850/33/10 and Appendix 1 of this contract , between OKD , as, ČSM and the Institute of Geonics AS CR, v.v.i. we present the following project monitoring stress tension-deformation condition of the rock mass during extraction of coal seam No.30 (634 ) within the test run mining methods corridor - pillar in a protective pillars jam CSM Mine, north location. Monitoring of the stress tension-deformation state of rock mass is a prerequisite for successful verification of a new mining method unapproved hall - pillar and its further use in the Czech part of the Upper Silesian Coal Basin. This mining method is designed on the basis of experiences and practices, which are verified in different natural conditions and depths, and therefore it is necessary for the verification of the conditions of the Czech part of the Upper Silesian Basin on the basis of the proposed geotechnical monitoring. Test operation of the new hall - pillar method will be implemented in the seam No.30 (634 ) in the rock mass included in the category without the risk of shocks.
The work of the sisters in the emergency medical department with the technique- preparation of educational material for nurses.
KOLÁŘOVÁ, Markéta
This dissertation deals with equipment handling problems of nurses on the Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation Department and training of new nurses for equipment handling. New nurses are therefore overloaded with lots of new information concerning nursing care, documentation, instruments, team etc. This dissertation consists of two parts ? theoretical and empirical one. The theoretical part deals with ARD description, monitoring, technical equipment, work of nurse on ARD and her adaptation process. The empirical part used a qualitative research method. Information was gathered from a semi-structured interview. The current state in context of nurse work with technical equipment on ARD was analysed in the first period of research. Tutorial material was created on the basis of gathered information which was applied in practice. Feedback on created tutorial material was found in the last period. The focus group was created by 10 respondents who work as general nurses on ARD in selected hospitals. Four goals and five research questions were stated during the investigation. The first goal was to map what technical equipment nurses on ARD are working with; the second goal was to find out how the training of new nurses on ARD is carried out; the third goal was to create training material concerning technology, not only for new nurses on ARD; and the fourth goal was to find out feedback on provided tutorial material from nurses on ARD. Research questions were: 1.What technical equipment do nurses operate on ARD? 2. How are new nurses on ARD trained? 3. What means are used during the training of new nurses? 4. According to nurses, what information regarding technology should a handbook for nurses on ARD contain? 5. What opinion do nurses on ARD have of created training material? The first goal was to map what technical equipment nurses on ARD are working with. From research results it is evident that nurses on ARD operate lots of equipment ? monitors, infusion pumps, linear pumps, ventilators, dialysis, suction bottles, defibrillators, laminar boxes, ICP monitors, patient lifters, medical heaters and coolers, nebulizers, plasmaferesis, PICCO, LIDCO, Vigileo, enternal pumps, anti-decubitus mattresses, anaesthetic equipment, EKG, haemoglobinmeters, glucometers, ABR analyser, bronchoscopes and Level. The second goal was to find out how the training of new nurses on ARD is carried out. Research results are different in this area. Every respondent undertook a different form of adaptation process in variously long intervals. The third goal was to create training material concerning technology not only for new nurses on ARD. Training material was created on the basis of discussion analysis with respondents and didactic principles had been kept during its creation (visualisation, connection theory with practise, scientism, adequacy, actuality, feedback, consciousness and activity, individualization and orderliness). The fourth goal was to find out feedback on provided tutorial material from nurses on ARD. Training material was given to all respondents for approximately 14 days and afterwards feedback was obtained. The result was that all respondents liked the training material very much. Research results will be provided to head nurses on ARD from chosen hospitals where the research was carried out. The created training material will be provided to ARD in hospital Pelhrimov, p. o. Specific training material for individual workplaces and equipment will be created for other hospitals on the basis of declared wishes of respondents. We anticipate that the training material will not only be beneficial for new nurses on ARD.
