Implementation of Strategy in Komerční Pojišťovna, a.s.

This material informs readers about implementation of strategy in company. The chapter number 1 (theoretical part) deals with the general principals of implementation of strategy and methods which are used for practise. This part should be instrumental as a theoretical base for the practical part. The sekond part (analysis) is focusing on running of comapany Komerční pojišťovna, a.s.. It describes history of company, its activities, organization structure. First of all it characterizes the methods, which are used by top management for implementation of strategy to all stages of management. Part of analysis is called questionnaire examination and it identifies fruitfulness of this implementation from employees view. The third part prezents proposals and recommendations for more efficient processes.

Business Ethics in OHL Company

Diploma thesis is composed of two parts: theoretical and practical part. First part of thesis is concerned to theoretical solution of problems of business ethics. Second part of thesis is concerned to analysis of the present state of business ethics in company OHL ŽS,a.s. We applied method of question form. We used the results from question form to interpretation and propose steps to reform the present state of business ethics in the concrete company.

Program for Analyzing Economical Data via Mathematical Modeling in Maple

In this diploma thesis I constructed generally usable program for processing economical data through mathematical methods of linear regression in Maple system. Program is used for trend dependency analysis of examined quantities. Via multi-stage algorithmization and implementation of information criterion I created interactive form with user-friendly interface with possibility of straight data import from office suite applications. Functionality of this program is verified on example with specific data collection.

Evaluation of the Financial Situation in the Firm and Proposals to its Improvement

The thesis deals with assessing the financial health of Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, a.s. by using selected financial analysis tools. It is divided into four sections – evaluation of the current problems, theoretical background, analysis of problems of the current situation and their own proposals for solution. In evaluation of the current problems are formulated objectives to tackle the problem together with the basic characteristics of society. The theoretical part, containing the findings from the literature, clarifies and describes selected methods of financial analysis which are subsequently used in next part of the processing of financial analysis of Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, a.s. The result of the financial analysis is an assessment of the financial health of the company during the years 2005 – 2008 and proposals to solve problems arising from it.

Conventional and Unconventional Solving of 123 kV Outdoor Switchgears

This graduation theses shows some of possible versions of outdoor switchgears with very high voltage, especially on the level 123 kV both concerning own complement of classic outdoor switchgears with devices as are overvoltages limiter, disconnecting switchgears, circuit breakers, etc., and compact connections. In the introduction of my theses there are explained basic ideas and theories of switchgears and described main devices and equipments which create classic (from equipment setting point of view) outdoor switchgears of very high voltage. Subsequently it describes possible ways of linking-up of these devices in the complex of switchgears themselves according to possible dispositions arranged and busbars systems. The same focus is dedicated to new, non-classic (non-standard solution in terms of devices solution), compact solving of outdoor very high voltage modules either by air isolated or by means of enclosed technology with gas SF6 which represent innovative solving first of all from reduction of built up area point of view which is very important from economic point of view especially during constructions of new switchgears. In the end of my theses there are mentioned also brief evaluations of producers and economics for development and operation of individual technologies. I used for my work materials of companies CEZ, a. s., Siemens, a. s. and Abb, a.s.

Formation and mode liquidation waste from Hospital Prachatice a.s.

The thesis deals with the issue of waste management from hospitals. This issue includes their production, sorting, collection, storage and disposal. In 1991 the first law about waste in the Czech republic was created. Till this time the waste management was not priority and waste disposal was not sensible. Currently, more attention is paid to the management of medical waste. The lay public can not imagine what kind of waste occur in health care and how it tis disposed. Health facilities are big producers of different kind of waste which is health risk not even from injuries but also risk of serious infections. Waste is often dangerous and its disposal must be separated from other communal waste. Liquidation and disposal of waste from health facility requires observance of the legislation law, regulations and goverment regulations including a catalog of waste. Many people come into contact with waste from health facility. Waste can threats patients, medical staff and other staff which is involved in handling it or involved in disposing of waste. Improper waste disposal can threaten population and also have negative inpact on the environment. The Hospital Prachatice a.s. is quite large company that produces large amount of waste. These wastes are additionally characterized by great diversity and waste management is not a simple matter. No only medical personnel and other staff are producers of waste in health facility but also outpatients or hospital patients contribute to total volume of produced waste by large proportion. The firt step to reduce the cost of waste disposal is the minimization of its occurrence. This step requires properly trained medical staff and in some cases also acquiring new working practices. For correct sorting of waste are needed other requisites such as well chosen and correct collection means, their correct labeling and their safety. Waste management in Hospital Prachatice a.s. is in accordance with the law. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part contains the issue of waste produced in healthcare facilities. Then, there is a characteristic of waste from healthcare facilities and their classification. The significant section is devoted to the applicable legislation and the main strategic EU documents and EU directives of waste. The study also mentioned the correct waste management and their sorting and collection. The practical part was processed using qualitative research - a secondary analysis of data. Analyzed data was obtained from annual reports of Hospital Prachatice a.s. and from operating rules of waste management. For research was chosen the time period 2008-2014. For clarity the resulting data were subsequently processed in tabular and grafical forms in Microsoft Excel. As next research method was used semistructured interview which was conducted with employees in selected health care facility. Next, in theoretical part was made qualitive research. This survey was conducted through semi-structured interviews whose aim was to determine the knowledge of workers from selected medical waste facilities. The analysis and evaluation basic facility maps of selected CEZ power stations

The aim of this work is to evaluate the condition of maps of selected power factories of the ČEZ, a.s. company. This bachelor thesis contains a brief introduction to the different types of power sources in the Czech Republic and the basic information about the ČEZ, a.s. company. In this bachelor thesis we can also find the marginally description of maps of the Czech Republic region, a description of geodetic control points and creating geodetic documentation. The evaluation followed by data analysis was done with a respect to technical, user, economic and legislative criteria. The work includes both theoretical and practical elements. An important part of this thesis is the description of software for management of maps, and all the data that we can find in the map and work with them. The practical part includes an attachment, where are previews of output from the software and graphical comparison of power stations using various elements recorded at individual power stations.

Technická dokumentace dřevostavby pro bydlení

The thesis is focused on the project detached single-storey wooden building modular system which is used for construction by REVITEX CZ, a.s., to be used for living family with two children. An introduction is devoted to description and explanation of the modular system ,,House 123" with indicating the used materials and possibility of wall constructions, further introduction deals with installation procedure. To selection the most suitable variant there are developed alternative layouts and spatial solutions for house of a smaller size category (without garage with indoor parking, basement and attic), house of a middle size category with garage and partial attic or house of large size category with a two-storey living space. There is processed a technical documentation for the selected house for a possibility of implementation of construction project, which is fulfilled by illustrative visualization. Documentation respects the basic legislative and regulatory requirements in the Czech Republic, valid for permanent housing.
