Engines of Octavia vehicles
Malchárek, Miroslav ; Vopařil, Jan (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with popular car Škoda Octavia and combustion engines used in it. Thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with a development of Škoda Octavia car. The second chapter approaches diesel engines used. The third chapter treats of commonly used combustion engines.
Powertrains of Octavia vehicles
Pavličík, Lukáš ; Vopařil, Jan (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis describes powertrains of Škoda Octavia vehicles, which have used from the beginning of production of this car until today. It has two main parts. First chapter focuses on the power unit. Each one is briefly described. In second chapter are described all mechanical and automatic transmissions.
Connecting rod of four-stroke spark-ignition engine
Nguyen, Huy Long ; Svída, David (referee) ; Drápal, Lubomír (advisor)
Purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to make research on connecting rods used in engines of cars, to design connecting rod for engine of given parameters, to make kinematic and dy-namic model of the crank mechanism and conduct its strength analysis. Design documenta-tion of proposed solution is included.
Automobiles of the eighties and nineties
Holuša, David ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This Bachelor Thesis describes events, which led to automotive industry development in eighties and nineties of the twentieth century, further it focuses on situation in industry on each continent and on the most influential car factories, briefly describes the biggest inventions of the time and their principles and function from the technological side of view and considers implementation in modern cars.
"Start&Stop" system spark ignition engine, passanger car implementation
Kubiš, Milan ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
My bachelor work describes a system implementation Start&Stop and its usage in passenger cars with gas engine. The work details reasons for the usage of this system and technically describes the basic elements. It shows different constructions of the systems, their advantages and disadvantages, both from the point of the influence over the car movement and in terms of the motoring comfort and the safety of running, especially in the urban environment.
Direct injection systems for spark-ignition engines
Vondráček, Václav ; Rasch, František (referee) ; Drápal, Lubomír (advisor)
This bacheleor´s thesis deals with direct injection of fuel spark-ignition motors. In each chapter you can learn about principle activities injection of fuel, meet single parts and components and learn how these components work. Further, this work compare some constructional differencies of the systems of some automobile producers and observes contemporary general way of those problems with reference to future.
Powertrain of experimental single-cylinder spark ignition engine
Laštovica, Karel ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
These bachelor’s thesis deals with experimental single-cylinder engine, calculation of his thermodynamic cycle, design of a piston, design of a can rod eye and his strength check. In introduction there is states function principle of combustion engine and their basic division and application. The bachelor’s thesis consists of five parts: scheduled initiatory parameters, calculation of thermodynamic cycle, calculation of the piston group weight, calculation of forces reacting to piston group and strength check of con rod eye. In the conclusion results of calculation are evaluated.
The present state and development trends of passenger car engines.
Ševčík, Michal ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Rauscher, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor`s thesis is about present situation and tendences of progress in construction of passenger car engine. Here will be shown the rate of different division engines, dependencies power parameters, emission levels CO2, consumption and also tendency in the development to the future. We get the evolutionary tendency from comparing of values obtained from years 2003 and 2008.
Crank mechanism of in-line four-cylinder spark ignition engine
Marek, Petr ; Rauscher, Jaroslav (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
Objective of this bachelor’s thesis is for given geometric, thermodynamic and operation parameters cylindrical unit of in-line four-cylinder spark ignition engine perform calculation of thermodynamic cycle, project basic proportion of piston group and for given operation modes perform strength check of connecting-rod eye. In the introduction is described ordinary use of spark ignition engines, several details of history of their evolution and present most widly used construction. Major text of bachelor’s thesis attend to four main chapters: description of thermodynamic cycle, calculation of forces reacting to piston, strength calculation and check of piston pin and of connecting-rod eye. Supplement consists of accomplishment of these calculations and a few of graphs. In the conclusion is evaluation of performed calculations and there are mentioned technological directions of present evolution of gas-engine.
Lubrication of gasoline and diesel engines
Krejčí, Tomáš ; Vaverka, Michal (referee) ; Křupka, Ivan (advisor)
The main subject of this bachelor’s thesis is describing the present state of knowledge in the sphere of compression-ignition and spark-ignition engines lubrication, lubricants and future trends. First part is about internal combustion principle, engine construction. Next parts are about engine lubrication system, lubricating modes, and its locating in the engine. Last part is about oils, and insights into the future.
