Frames of Tennis Rackets
Rajdlík, Lukáš ; Němec, Karel (referee) ; Molliková, Eva (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with materials used for manufacturing of the frame of tennis rackets. The thesis informs about the frame of tennis rackets development, from the origins of tennis to these days, when there are modern technologies used. There are parts of the frame of a tennis racket and construction requirements defined. There are two samples of tennis rackets investigated and the both samples are compared with each other.
Chemorezistive gas sensor
Venkrbec, Lukáš ; Pytlíček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Prášek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the detection of gases. Based on the research, the theoretical part is devoted to the principles and construction of chemical gas sensors, especially the chemoresistive gas sensors, mainly with the active layer consisting of metal oxides and carbon nanotubes. In the second half of the theoretical part the carbon nanostructures, their properties and the methodology of preparation are reviewed. The experimental part deals with the type of support structure, preparation of the active layer and the method of its deposition and he principle of detection. In the results and discussion, the thesis focuses on the detailed processing of the results and the evaluation of the response ammonia, the impact of the modifications and procedures. In the end, the results obtained are compared, both with each other and with the relevant literature.
Expanded Grpahite as Negative Electrode Material for Aporotic Intercalation Systems
Kaňa, Michal ; Čech, Ondřej (referee) ; Libich, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with lithium-ion batteries. It focuses primarily on the materials which are the basis of negative electrode materials, especially on natural expanded graphite. The aim of this thesis is delineate problems of lithium-ion batteries and the possibilities how to improve their basic parameters such a capacity and current carrying capacity. The first part focuses on the description of the functionality of a lithium-ion battery. The second part focuses on the production of negative electrodes, measuring their properties and characteristics. In the last part, there are evaluated and compared individual negative electrode in the role of host of lithium and sodium ions according to the obtained data and then there are the conclusions draw
Use of an X - ray fluorescence analysis for the ceramics of the La Tene period
KREJČÍ, Radim
In my bachelor thesis I try to clarify aspects of the use of an x-ray fluorescence analysis method in the study of a composition of the ceramics and its provenance. I try to gather information about this method, as well as its pluses and minuses, by means of study of domestic and especially international publications and projects dealing with this topic. Knowledge acquired is then used in the research during which I analyse chemical composition of South Bohemian ceramic with graphite admixture from the La Tene period and I try to discover its differences and thanks to that determine potential imports.
Characterization of graphite properties in lithium-ion batteries application
Kajzr, Miroslav ; Vondrák, Jiří (referee) ; Libich, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the negative electrode materials for lithium-ion batteries. The introduction of thesis researching characteristics of negative electrodes based on graphite and get to know present technologies and trends in the development of electrode materials. The experimental part of thesis address to the preparation and characterisation of basic types of graphite materials.
Negative electrode materials for lithium-ion batteries
Šikuda, Milan ; Vondrák, Jiří (referee) ; Libich, Jiří (advisor)
This theses deal with a study of basic functional principles of cells. It is focused on carbon materials, which are the basic for negative electrode masses of lithium-ion accumulators. The aim of this work is understanding principle lithium-ion accumulator, get an overview about the most widespread materials currently using for negative electrode materials with measuring their characteristics. Then compare characteristics of carbon materials with alternatives materials for negative electrode on the base of silicon. First part of the work is devoted of principle functionality lithium-ion accumulators together with description of galvanostatics and potentiostatics measuring methods. Practical part deals with preparation and measuring negative electrode masses characteristics.

Divílek, Petr ; Libich, Jiří (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of carbon usage in negative material of lithium-ion batteries, with their structure, preparation and also by testing of their capacity and fire safety. The aim of this thesis is to test fire safety of negative material from selected kinds of graphite and carbon.
Natural Graphite as Negative Electrode Material for Lithium-Ion Batteries
Paulovics, Petr ; Jahn, Michal (referee) ; Libich, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with an issue of lithium-ion batteries. It is focused on the negative (anode) electrode materials, dealing with the study of their electrochemical properties. The aim was to study the capacity characteristics of active electrode materials based on natural graphite. Mainly it was assessed the relationship morphology electrode material and the pressing pressure due to the electrochemical properties of the capacitive electrode. The first part of the thesis contains a theoretical introduction to the negative electrode materials with focuses on the composition and overall analysis of the lithium-ion cell. The second part is focuses on the manufacture, assembly and measurement of lithium-ion cells.
Negative Electrode for Lithium-Ion Batteries
Libich, Jiří ; Vanýsek, Petr (referee) ; Straková Fedorková, Andrea (referee) ; Vondrák, Jiří (advisor)
The dissertation thesis deals with investigation of electrode materials for Lithium-ion batteries. The main aim of investigation was focused to materials for negative electrode of Litihum-ion batteries. These negative electrode materials operate on intercalation principle. Object of interest are carbonaceous materials, especially their graphite forms. Graphite plays host role in lithium ion – graphite interactions that provides LiC6 compound. As a result of that investigation can be considered improving of graphite materials from stability, irreversible capacity and other parameters points of view. This kind of investigation takes an important part in field of elementary investigation work engaged to the next generation of Lithium-ion batteries. The work also describes the fire safety issue of Lithium-ion batteries along with compatibility of negative electrode materials and aprotic electrolytes.
