Playing a Flute at Preschool Age and the Importance of Music for Further Life of a Child

This bachelor thesis called "Playing a Flute at Preschool Age and the Importance of Music for Further Life of a Child" aims to find out what is the importance of music for further life of children who learnt to play a flute at preschool age. The theoretical part introduces terms such as a recorder, it also focuses on the therapeutic playing a flute and its history and it also deals with the idea of professor Václav Žilka as reflected in his book called "Veselé pískání - zdravé dýchání". Other phenomena described in the theoretical part are: the musical development of children and teenagers, the attitude to music and the possibilities of its progress and the idea of teaching playing a musical instrument at preschool age. The practical part of this bachelor thesis focuses on the importance of music in further life of children who learnt to play a soprano recorder either at nursery school, or at some activity centre. Two methods were used for the research, i.e. a questionnare and an interview. The results confirm that playing a musical instrument at preschool age affects the child and its approach to music in a very positive way.

Options for inclusive education of children with physical disabilities in the Písek region´s kindergartens

This thesis focuses on the issues of inclusive education of children with special needs in common preschools. The first part includes theoretical introduction to the issue. The author describes different types of physical disabilities, specifics for children of preschool age and the basis of inclusive education. The inclusive education is compared with integration. In the second, analytical part the reader can find results of executed research. The research was based on two methods. The first one was the method of half-structured interviews; the second one was of printed questionnaires. The thesis has character of a case study, yet the results are not intended to be generalised about all common preschools in the region. Nevertheless it offers an actual reflection of stated issue in the region of Písek. The findings gave the idea of the attitude of public towards inclusive education of children with special needs, following with the level of public awareness about this phenomenon.

Using Project Method in Kindergarten

This bachelor's thesis revolves around using planning method, which enhances life in many nursery schools. The theoretical part is aimed at its characteristics, origin and history; it informs us about signs and structure of the project and draws attention about the advantages and disadvantages of the method. In the functional part, research survey is carried out, which examines current notion of educators on the subject of applying the planning method using surveys and self-observation to assess projects in the nursery school.

The development of musical skills in preschool children

This Bachelor thesis deals with describing the development of musical skills in preschool children. The first chapter deals with the definition of pre- school period and the physical, intellectual, emotional child development, as well as his imagination and play. The second chapter focuses on the notion of musical skill, the dirrerence between musical skills and abilities and covers the factors that affect musical skills. The third chapter describes the children's musical activities- singing, music and physical education, instrumental playing and listening. The practical part describes the methodology for specific music activities with children. There are three folk songs: ?Holka modrooká?, ?Čížečku, čížečku? a ?Já do lesa nepojedu?.

It describes the creative process and the factors influencing creativity. It looks at why it is important to develop creativity, what are the methods and the development of creativity. Characterizes the development of creativity of children, and what enhances their creative thinking and perception. Furthermore, it defines art education, children's creative expression and the subject of children's drawings. It talks about an artist and educator leadership of art activities. It characterizes the game and its importance, creative play and its use. Describes leisure, basic human activity in leisure time and mention the artistic hobbies of children. It focuses on pre-school age children, their physical development, development of basic abilities and skills, socialization, and of course the game. The practical part is focused on creative art activities for children of preschool age and the use of art games. The project was carried out with children in the parental center, and its theme was the sea. The aim of my work is to describe all aspects that influence, positively or negatively, the mind of a child in situations that are new, own, or stressful. Based on the analysis of these aspects, I{\crq}m aspiring to create a prototypic, but not fixed model of an adaption supporting program for solving or addressing potential social pathological behavior in the classroom, at the level of primary or secondary prevention.
