Dynamic model of production scheduling of UNIKOV
Petrovičová, Jana ; Pelikán, Jan (advisor) ; Fábry, Jan (referee)
The objective of this thesis is to present the basics of production scheduling problems for workstations and to create an application of dynamic model. This application should help the UNIKOV company to produce similar schedules for their own operations. The theoretical part provides a brief description of terms and characteristics of the scheduling problems. Detailed characteristics are provided on the open shop problem - the task applied on the real world example. The paper then follows with a practical part, covering an explanation of the heuristics model written in VBA for MS Excel, allowing dynamic expansion and management of the production.
Application of Balanced Scorecard in a banking institution
Nechanický, Jakub ; Říhová, Zora (advisor) ; Šustáček, Pavel (referee)
This thesis focuses on the use and application of strategic tool Balanced Scorecard (BSC) for managing banking institution and translation the strategy into particular objectives and initiatives. Theoretical background affects both BSC framework taking into account modern trends of the dynamic system conception and also basics of information society, strategic considerations and system dynamics theory in relation to creating and application of the BSC in the organization. The practical part provides an introduction to the issues of examined institution, the current state of sharing strategic objectives, fundamental analysis to detect key features of the organization and the market and especially BSC formation. There is an analysis of the BSC system in details, translation strategy into concrete objectives, targets, initiatives and also selected measures. The integrity of the thesis is supplemented by a suggested process of dynamic BSC implementation to the institution, introduction of the tool for building a dynamic model for simulation of strategies and the concept of the user interface in the selected tool for sharing BSC through the whole organization.
Models of Analysis and Forecasting of the insolvency of Czech companies
Kuchina, Elena ; Hušek, Roman (advisor) ; Řičař, Michal (referee)
Different scenarios of the financial situation can take place before the company's bankruptcy. There may be long-term trends in the deteriorating financial situation that indicate the impending corporate bankruptcy, or the bankruptcy may occur unexpectedly, even though the company was ranked among prosperous business units. If the economic situation of the company followed the second scenario, when insolvency was quite predictable, static model, i.e. the model which does not take into account the dynamics of changes in the financial indicators, is a good option to capture the probability of bankruptcy. However, the situation becomes different when the financial indicators fail to show a positive trend throughout some years before the insolvency. In this case, the predictive accuracy of the static model could be increased by a dynamic model by taking into account the fact that the development of the financial indicators in the past periods may affect the company's financial health for the period under consideration.
Dynamic Model of Losses of Creditor with a Large Mortgage Portfolio
Šmíd, Martin ; Gapko, Petr
We propose a dynamic model of mortgage credit losses. We assume borrowers to hold assets covering the instalments and to own a real estate which serves as a collateral; both the value of the assets and the price of the estate follow general stochastic processes driven by common and individual factors. We describe the correspondence between the common factors, the percentage of defaults and the loss given default and we suggest a procedure of econometric estimation of the model.
Dynamic model of Loan Portfolio with Lévy Asset Prices
Šmíd, Martin
We generalize the well known Merton-Vasicek (KMV) model of a loan portfolio value in two ways: we assume a L' evy process of the debtors' assets' value (instead of the Gaussian one) and we model a dynamics of the portfolio value so that the debts may last several periods (instead of a single one). Our model is computable by simulation.
Computational modelling of thermal behavior of DC motor
Grepl, Robert ; Wierciak, J. ; Vlach, R.
The paper deals with computational modelling of thermal behavior ofdrive system with DC motor. Motivation to built dynamical thermal model is toincrease utility value performance of electrical motor in particular roboticapplication. There is mathematical model presented in the paper, describedidentification of parameters process and shown results for two kind ofidentification approaches. Usage of neural networks approximators ismentioned.
Thermal modelling of DC motor for controled torque overloading
Grepl, Robert ; Vlach, R. ; Kratochvíl, Ctirad
The paper deals with the application of the thermal nets theory for thermalmodelling of DC motor. There is considered particular drive system -electromechanical servo for quadruped robot. Mathematical model is described, methodology of experiment came up and results are discussed. Parameters ofmodel are identified and possible applications of resultant model are given.Computer analysis are performed in Matlab.
Some remarks on collapse-models of cavitation bubbles
Bayer, Zdeněk
The paper refers to the Rayleighs models of cavitation bubble dynamics. For the latter one the influence of the state of water, water vapor, air and of theirs physical properties as well as their constants is checked up.
Use of comlex dynamic models in design and control of walking robots
Grepl, Robert ; Ondrůšek, Č. ; Kratochvíl, Ctirad
The paper describes the design of complex dynamic model of quadrupedwalking mobil robot. Method of building of thenumerical computational model and its simulating is shown. Complex model consist ofsubmodels of robotic mechanism, DC motor, gearbox model and thermal model ofelectrical motor. In the paper is also discussed application of computational model directly for control ofrobot and also as a data generator for global and local approximation method, mainly artificial neural networks. Control algorithm is also considered in model.
Dynamický model pro řízení stability kráčejícího robotu
Grepl, Robert
This paper deals with the building and utilization of numerical dynamic modelof stability. The design of model and its solution is accomplished inMatlab/Simulink/SimMechanics environment. The model is designed for particularquadruped walking robot. The structure of the model is described in the text. Two examples of model application are shown at the end of the paper. Model can be used directlyin SimMechanics for various analysis on PC or can be employed as a generator oftraining data for approximator.
