Use of thermal solar collectors for pool heating – design of application
Zatočilová, Aneta ; Košner, Jan (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
The objective of this bachelor’s thesis is to evaluate the possibilities of using solar collectors for swimming pool heating. The solar pool heating is often combined with solar water heating. The thesis examine technical parameters, effectivity and purchase cost of the thermal solar systems for both mentioned applications. The first part of the study is focused on general description of the solar radiation, its availability and potential of usage. The next part is dealing with collectors’ energy budget, their efficiency and means of their insulation. Further, there are described the most used types of the thermal solar collectors and various constructions of the thermal solar systems of nowadays. The last part is dedicated to specific project of thermal solar system for pool heating and its price budget.

This thesis deals with analysis of wind parks from aspect of EIA, the annual capacity factor and the economy of operation. It shows the utilization of wind power in wind plants, wind potential of the Czech Republic and criteria for selection locations for construction wind plant. It describes the Act No. 100/2001 Coll., on environmental impact assessment, in which is the EIA process regulated. It analyses potential and real possibilities of wind power utilization in the North Moravian Region in connection with the Territorial Energy Policy.
Photovoltaic power station in area South Moravia, appreciation their influence on environment
Krystýnová, Hana ; Zmeškal, Oldřich (referee) ; Kotlík, Josef (advisor)
This thesis is focused on possible utilization of the sun energy for electricity production. It points out the basic components, attributes and functions of the photovoltaic system, also the suitability of the South-Moravian region for photovoltaic power station construction. Further there are mentioned current photovoltaic power stations built in South-Moravian from the point of view of location, performance etc. It analyses potential and real possibilities of solar power utilization in the South Moravian Region in connection with the Territorial Energy Policy.
Biogas stations - renewable energy sources
VOBORSKÁ, Petra
The topic of the thesis is biogas stations - renewable energy sources. This thesis focuses on energy from biomass which is generated inside stations, and on appropriate use of energy. It deals with thermal energy that is produced as a waste product inside the biogas stations. The main objective is to evaluate the effectiveness of the biogas stations as a source of heat for the municipalities in southern Bohemian and create evaluation criteria of suitability of using heat from biogas stations in specific communities.
The analysis of the development of electricity production which is made from renewable sources in the Czech Republic in comparison with the most advanced states of European Union.
Neradová, Veronika ; Zeman, Karel (advisor) ; Ryvolová, Ivana (referee)
This bachelor work shall see into the analysis of the development of electricity production which is made from renewable sources in the Czech Republic in comparison with the most advanced states of European Union. This is a very actual topic, the European Union supports higher using of renewable resources and every individual member state must comply with limits which are predetermined. On the other hand, increasing of some kinds of renewable resources threatens the stability of the transmission system. In the theoretical part there is the definition of the economic policy, how it was developed and which main approaches exist nowadays. There is also described the energy policy of European Union and specifications of energy recourses which are classified as renewable. The analytical part deals with energy policy of renewable sources in the Czech Republic. Then there is an analysis of development of electricity production in the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria and Sweden. The energy policy is definite for each state which is applied for promoting renewable sources. The aim of this work is analytical comparison of electricity production of renewable sources in the Czech Republic and the most advanced states of the European Union.
Analysis of the production of energy from renewable resources in Czech republic and refined EU countries
Klement, Vítězslav ; Zeman, Karel (advisor) ; Loužek, Marek (referee)
The reason why is this topic nowadays actual is caused by wrong decisions of national governments from past years, which have crucial influence on the development of the national economy -- both state budget and expenditures of customers. This issue is so important, because first transparent reviews of impacts of energy production from renewable resources were published just in this year. Theoretical part is based on studying special sources and books and defines terms connected with this issue. It is described the legislative and economical aspects of producing "renewable energy". In analytical part are researched parameters of producing energy from renewable sources in five countries. Two of these countries (Finland, Latvia) have the bigger share of " renewable energy" in the whole European Union and two countries have this share the smallest (Luxembourg, Malta). The fifth country is the Czech Republic. The aim of this work is analytical comparison of these five countries by production of "renewable energy" in each of them.
Possible utilization of grass material
KOBERNA, Daniel
The objective if this degree work is creating a survey of possible uses of surplus grass material which is caused by animal farming reduction and by bringing the ground in less fertile areas of our country to a standstill. In the work possible uses of the grass are described, especially its use in the energy industry as a fuel source for the production of heat and biogas. Classical usage of the grass material as a food source for livestock or for the production of compost is described here as well. Examples are shown there of energy kinds of grass, which seems to be a promising renewable resource of biomass for favourable economic results. The harvest of the grass material and its consequent prossesing is done by production lines, that is why a survey of such lines and their economic figures connected with the operation of these machines is also included in this work. The economic part of this work contains many formulae that can be used for counting out all the costs connected with the operation of the grass harvest machine and for evaluating the effectiveness of the return on investment into this machine
Analysis of policy in support of generation electricity from renewable resources in Czech republic.
Juklíček, Jan ; Zeman, Karel (advisor) ; Ryvolová, Ivana (referee)
The bachelor thesis aims on analysis of support in generation of electricity from renewable resources in the Czech Republic and its historical development. In the view of gradual growth of consumption and prices of energy is this thesis very actual, especially in the time of global financial crisis. Theoretical part of the work defines main historical goals in economic policy, which led to the policy of support in generation of electricity from renewable resources. Then the description of renewable and non-renewable resources fallows. Theoretical part ends with consideration of possibility, that non-renewable resources could be worked-out. In analytical part of the work is researched policy of support in generation of electricity from renewable resources. The main sort of subventions in the Czech Republic and legislature of European Union is defined. Impacts of these policies are shown on share of electricity production from renewable resources and gross domestic consumption. This research is compared with other members of European Union. The last part analyzes usability of each renewable resource in conditions of the Czech Republic. The main goal of this bachelor work is analysis of support in generation of electricity from renewable resources in the Czech Republic and eventual recommendations on improvement in these policies.
Subvention of renewable resources of energy in the Czech republic
Plačková, Andrea ; Šauer, Petr (advisor) ; Lejnarová, Šárka (referee)
The worldwide growing consumption of energy forces us to think about how to avoid a possible energetic crisis and its economic and social impacts. One way to avoid the threat is a higher use of energy from renewable resources along with rational consumption of energy. The goal of my diploma work is to evaluate whether the State should support the development in technologies gaining energy from renewable resources and also to evaluate the efficiency of public funds (financial resources) invested in this way. In the first part of my diploma work, I will focus on individual renewable resources in general, clarify their advantages, disadvantages and compare the use of renewable resources in the Czech Republic with the States of the European Union. I will also introduce the legislative structure, out of which the state support of renewable resources results and following on, will make an analysis of the efficiency of this support. The main contribution of my diploma work is the evaluation of State support to the renewable resources of energy.
