Demonstration examples with KNX/EIB
Křivka, Martin ; Zuth, Daniel (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis was created as a support for Building automation course, at the Institute of Automation and Computer Science of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Brno University of Technology. The aim of this diploma thesis is to get acquainted with elements of intelligent electrical ABB i-bus® KNX/EIB and create tasks suitable for laboratory teaching. Subsequently, use the communication module DataLab IF/EIB to connect KNX/EIB with Control Web system and create in this environment visualization of the status of these devices. Furthermore, using the communication module CM EIB/KNX to connect KNX/EIB with the programmable controller LOGO! and create additional laboratory task.
Intelligent installation system ABB i-bus® KNX/EIB Education board
Michalčík, Jiří ; Zuth, Daniel (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis deals with the topic of intelligent installation systems in the context of non-industrial automation. The first part discusses the KNX technology as well as realization of educational board demonstrating the i-bus® intelligent installation by ABB, designed according to KNX/EIB standard. Text further explains the specifics of board elements in detail. Second part is dedicated to created tutorial tasks, targeted to be used by students. These tasks are focused on the basic board element properties and their collaboration.
Robotic cell design for coordinated robotic welding
Dvořák, Jaroslav ; Pochylý, Aleš (referee) ; Kubela, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design a robotic cell with two welding robots and rotary table in two designs and to compare different types of control. These designed alternatives evaluate possibly using of its parts. These designed variants compare physically and financially.
Process values datalogger
Bráblík, Radim ; Hynčica, Ondřej (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor’s work covers with already realized program of datalogger. On its beginning is shortly described what datalogger is, followed by description of used OPC protocol, its formation, basic specifications, principle of function and communication. Next is shortly described control system of ABB Company. Then follow short mention about application MS Excel and in the end is description of program of datalogger from view of visual aspect, function, ability and verify of its functionality.
Simulation of Heat Transfer in Low-Voltage Switchboard MNS - Optimization of Heat Transfer into The Switchboard
Czudek, Aleš ; Maxa, Jiří (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
The thesis includes diagnostics temperature field of industrial low voltage. Place of origin, flow and heat transfer are important aspects in the design of the switchgear, especially in terms of proper equipment layout. The correctness of the design of the switchgear is verified by measuring the practical temperature field during testing or in work mode. To determine the temperature profile, it is necessary to measure the temperature at various points of the switchgear, either contact or contactless method. Measurements are performed on standardized low voltage switchboards, which are located power elements. The goal is to replace costly and time-consuming field testing switchgear efficient simulation of the temperature field mathematical model developed switchboards.
Implementation of the new ABB SACE Emax 2 air circuit breaker series in a low-voltage MNS switchgear product portfolio
Studený, Michal ; ABB, Vladimír Horych, (referee) ; Polsterová, Helena (advisor)
The Master’s Thesis comprises a summary of the differences existing design of MNS switchgear series against AGOMIN project innovative proposal. The introduction deals with the introduction to the CAD program SolidWorks and its extension for enterprise data management SolidWorks Enterprise PDM. The body of the paper deals with a new range of air circuit breakers ABB SACE Emax 2 and their implementation into the product line of low voltage switchgears. Included are other improvements that together with implementation of circuit breakers AGOMIN project brings.
Optimization of soldering process in the production of instrument transformers
Šula, Matěj ; Schnederle, Petr (referee) ; Szendiuch, Ivan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the soldering process in manufacturing instrument transformers. It summarizes the knowledge of soldering process, lead-free alloys and test methods selected solder joint. In the practical part is the analysis the manufacturing process in terms of soldering operations, testing of selected lead-free alloys, which are considered as a replacement for lead-based alloy - now used in the manufacturing process. The conclusion is optimized manufacturing process to reduce operating costs and improve quality.
Testing Communication via IEC 61850 and GOOSE between ABB and Siemens Protections
Vavreczky, Gábor ; Palát, Jan (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
The main objective of this thesis is to examine the possibility of cooperation of IEDs from ABB and Siemens in accordance with IEC61850. The aim is to create and test a workflow, after which protection relays from ABB and Siemens will communicate with each other via GOOSE messages. This paper provides a description of the international standard IEC61850, as a theoretical basis. Describes in detail the configuration of protection relays SIPROTEC 7SA610 according to IEC61850. Work provides a description of the configuration tools PCM600 and IET600 which are used for configuration of protection relays RELION® REF615 by ABB. In the final part of the work experiences that are written in collaboration used protection.
Design and production of sample panels with system installation Ego-n
Vašíček, Martin ; Bátora, Branislav (referee) ; Macháček, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the development of systems for intelligent building, focused on wiring system, division of them and comparison of their differences. The advantages of these systems like comfort, energy reduction, etc. are also mentioned. Nowadays several standards of systems for intelligent building exist as KNX/EIB or LON, therefore thesis concerns to trade-off these standards too. Main part of the thesis is focused on system Egon made by company ABB where the system concept as well as bus modules are described that allow different functions, mutual connection of modules and their programming. Tutorial panel with ABB Ego-n wiring system, which will be used for study purpose, is designed in the practical part of the work. It includes scheme of the panel, electric linkage of components and photographs of constructed panel as documentation. In the final part of the work two examples of laboratory exercise for installation and setting are listed, including programming description.
Simulation of Heat Transfer in Low-Voltage Switchboard MNS
Czudek, A.
The content of this work is the diagnosis of the temperature profile of industrial low voltage switchboards. Place of origin, flow and heat dissipation are important aspects in the design of the cabinet, particularly with regard to the layout of your devices. The correctness of the design cabinet can be verified by measuring the temperature field practical cabinet during testing or in work mode. Another option is to simulate the temperature profile of the low voltage. This can prevent waste of materials and saving money for the development
