Characteristic parameters of oxygen-enhanced combustion process

Land is gently sloping from west to east. It continues for Buková street. The building has six floors and a basement. The basement is made from monolithic reinforced concrete. It is used as garages. Floors are made of ceramic bricks with isolation . First floor contains four commercial premises and main entry for housing part. Seventeen flats are situated from second to sixth floor. Sizes of apartments are 1+kitchen corner to 4+kitchen corner with terraces and balcony. Roofing is solved with simple flat roof. Heating will be ensured with central heating. Every apartment, commercial premises, shared premises are going to have it’s own gas boiler. Polyfunctional building is connected on a local road – Buková street, which is connected to new communication. Within multifunctional building twenty parking slots is designed at the basement. Next fourteen parking slots is designed outside.
Program for calculation of ventilation and heating in synchronous machine
Kolář, Pavel ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with ventilation of synchronous generators with a cylindrical rotor. For the design of ventilation we apply basic physical laws in the field of hydromechanics and thermomechanics. Therefore the first chapters are devoted to these subjects. They are followed by the description of ventilation systems and a thermal net is created and solved for one of them consisting of the thermal resistance and sources. The final part deals with a program, which I developed in Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition. This program enables to calculate the ventilation and heating of individual parts of the machine after entering basic machine dimensions and losses.
Heat flux calculation during boiling process – application for cooling of combustion chamber
Földváry, István ; Pačíska, Tomáš (referee) ; Vondál, Jiří (advisor)
There is a water-cooled combustion chamber at the Institute of Process and Environmental Engineering, which is used for testing of burners. Effective cooling is a particularly significant problem. It is also necessary to ensure accurate measurement of wall heat flux extracted by the cooling water. Therefore the main aim of the thesis is calculation of the minimum flow rate of cooling media required for safe operation of the combustion chamber. A comprehensive review of the heat transfer mechanisms was performed. Description is provided for the basic characteristics of phase changes with an emphasis on detailed analysis of mechanisms of boiling and evaporation. The presence of boiling at the water-side wall in the inner mantle was verified in the calculation part. Computation of the heat transfer coefficient was done by using the similarity methods. Temperature of the wall was then evaluated. A control on the presence of nucleate boiling was performed and the required minimum flow rate was determined for each section of the chamber.
An assessment of returnability of solar collectors installation in low-energy family house
Hrbata, Jiří ; Pešek, Martin (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
Increasing of standard of living, automation and mechanization of production and industrial growth lead into energy need growth. At the same time the energy prices continuously rise and it is still more preferable to use renewable energy, particularly solar radiation. This thesis contains basic information about usefulness of solar radiation, solar collectors and ways of their integration into heating systems. Particularly, it deals with the assessment of returnability of solar collectors instalation in the low energy family house. It contains calculations of necessary heat for heating, hot water heating and energy gains from solar collectors. Returnability assessment is demonstrated on concrete example.
