Study of Thin-Film Photoluminescence
Kouřil, Jan ; Spousta, Jiří (referee) ; Kalousek, Radek (advisor)
The first part of bachelor’s thesis deals with theory of photoluminescence in semiconductors, the second part describes measurement of thin SRON layers and comparison of taken spectra for various conditions.
Study of thin transparent films properties
Schmiedová, Veronika ; Veselý, Michal (referee) ; Zmeškal, Oldřich (advisor)
The main aim of this bachelor´s thesis is a study of thin transparent layers of organic materials (PPV, P3HT, TiO2, DPP). The theoretical part describe the methods of quality examinations of their surface, mostly the use of optical and interference microscopy. For elaboration of data was used the image analysis via HarFA program. Thickness of layer and the index of refraction was provided by interference microscope. From the interference images was identified the amplitude of groove for various values of treshold, but mainly the interface inhomogenity of groove, which proofs the surface inhomogenity of samples. For the images taken by the optical microscope were allocated the average errors (but also errors of superior sorts) defining the surface inhomogenities of samples. The conlusion of this study compare the results of both methods.
Study of thin films refractive index by interference microscopy
Procházka, Petr ; Veselý, Michal (referee) ; Zmeškal, Oldřich (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused to measure of spectral dependences of refractive index in thin layers. The object of this thesis was measurement of dispersion dependences of refractive index. The theoretical part deals with present methods of refractive index measurements and quantities associated with. These methods were ordered from the easiest to the most complex methods. Intention of own work was reached results by the very easy method of interference mi-croscopy. Thin layers of various organic matters were investigated by optical microscope and main-ly by interference microscope to determine their optical attributes – refractive index and his dis-persion dependences. There were images, which were made by interference microscope and digital camera. These images were subjected to image analysis by computer program HarFA. Dispersion dependences of refractive index were proved by elaboration by this computer pro-gram.
Preparation of photocatalytically active layers of titanium dioxide
Šeffer, Lukáš ; Jančovičová, Viera (referee) ; Veselý, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor work gives an overview about preparation of titanium dioxide and silicon dioxide thin films by sol-gel process, using coating methods as spin coating, dip coating, capillary and cell coating, flow coating, spray coating, pyrosol process, chemical vapour deposition and printing. The procedures of composite films preparation obtained by mixed sols of titanium dioxide and silica dioxide are also discussed together with preparation of double layer films, when titanium dioxide is coated on glass substrate covered by a silica dioxide layer. The methods of photocatalytic activity testing are the important part of this work.

Dytrych, Pavel ; Slater, M. ; Klusoň, Petr ; Churpita, Olexandr ; Hubička, Zdeněk ; Čada, Martin ; Morozová, Magdalena ; Zita, B. ; Krýsa, J. ; Straňák, Vítězslav
Pecvd method in this contribution we deal with the preparation of thin layers of ZnO, which exhibit interesting photo-sensitive properties. ZnO functional layers were prepared by surfatron by a PECVD method.
Interference coatings on laser amplifiers
Oulehla, Jindřich
This contribution deals with the technology used for designing and producing interference coatings on materials used for manufacturing laser amplifiers. These coatings must not only meet the optical performance requirements but also others. For example they must be able to withstand cryogenic cooling, high laser beam fluence, etc.

Krejčíková, Simona ; Matějová, Lenka ; Šolcová, Olga
Our study is focused on preparation and characterization of the doped titania thin layers owing to optimization of their properties.
Příprava a charakterizace tenkých vrstev oxidů zirkonu a titanu
Krejčíková, Simona ; Matějová, Lenka ; Matěj, Z. ; Jirkovský, Jaromír ; Šolcová, Olga
Titania and zirconia belong to nanoporous materials with huge application potential in photocatalysis, dye-sensitized photoelectrochemical cells, electrochromic devices, sensors and other applications, especially in the form of nanolayers. Differences in surface morfology, texture and crystallinity influence their catalytic impact. Therefore special attention is focused on the detailed textural and structural characterizations of thin titania-zirconia nanolayers prepared by sol-gel templated route.
