Dynamic vehicle-road interaction
Svršek, David ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Fojtášek, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis, Dynamic vehicle-road interaction, deals with a summary of basic knowledge about the acting force and factors that affect interaction of vehicle with surface. The work is divided into six parts, which deals with the definition of basic concepts and characteristics of dynamics, traction vehicle, braking, maneuverability, the chassis aspects influencing the traction and anti-skid road surface properties.
Increasing the thermal, electrical and mechanical properties of emergency brakes
Zermegh, Tomáš ; Krejčí, Petr (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
This thesis is dealing with a detailed analysis of electromechanical brake used in emergency situations to stop the electric motor. Environmental influences, bad material proposal or bad design parameters can significantly limit the behaviour of a brake. The thesis presents several approaches to avoid these limitations, to limit the reaction time and achieve better results. The attached programs can be used either for innovation, or for the new brake design based on the entry requirements.
Design and execution of additional module of laboratory equipment for measurement of friction within lubricated contacts
Stifter, Jan ; Šperka, Petr (referee) ; Frýza, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis presents the design and implementation of a module of laboratory device for measuring coefficient of friction and friction forces in elastohydrodynamic lubricated contacts. The module is able to measure friction forces in two perpendicular axes. A motivation for realization of this module was the absence of a similar equipment. The retrieval section of this thesis is dedicated to tribology, strain gauges (force sensors) and compliant mechanisms. The selection of the appropriate concept of the module and the force transducers is solved in the design part of thesis. The compliant mechanism with flexure hinges was designed via FEM analysis. This mechanism allows the displacement of the contact member of module in the direction of the frictional forces acting within a lubricated contact. The proposed module was manufactured, implemented in laboratory equipment and its functionality was tested. According to preliminary results, the module fulfilled the objectives of this thesis.
An experimental investigation of friction coefficient in hip joint replacements
Tkadlec, Tadeáš ; Urban, Filip (referee) ; Nečas, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with an experimental analysis of friction coefficient within hip joint replacements. The measurements were realized on Mini Traction Machine device in ball-on-disc configuration. The main goal was to determine the effect of implant material, kinematic conditions and model synovial fluid composition on the development of coefficient of friction as a function of time. For this purpose, three different materials (metal, ceramic, polymer), two mean speeds (5.7 mm/s; 22m/s), three different slide-to-roll ratios (SRR = 0 %, SRR = -150 %; SRR = 150 %) and six various model fluids containing albumin and -globulin in a various ratios and concentrations were employed. The results are evaluated in the form of graphs showing the dependence of friction coefficient on time and are confronted with previously published studies.

Design of new demonstration rig for friction force measurement
Hazda, Jakub ; Roupec, Jakub (referee) ; Zimmerman, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with design of a new demonstration rig for friction force measurement. First part of the thesis is dedicated to summary of fundamental information related to matters of friction and friction measurement. The summary is used as a base for the following part of the thesis containing demanded structural design.
Overview of present metods and devices for friction coefficient measuring in lubricated contact of rubbing surfaces.
Nešpor, Vít ; Šamánek, Otakar (referee) ; Koutný, Daniel (advisor)
In this thesis was discussed measuring of friction coefficient. Phenomenon of fiction and basic physical methods of determining friction coefficient. were described. This work was rather oriented to modern advanced methods, realised by experimental devices - tribometers. These devices with methods were described in focus to measuring of friction force. Their advantages or disadvatnages were described too. In detail was discussed the accuracy of methods.
Properties of the termo-visco-elastic material 42-809 for the production of vibrodump elements - 2. part
Svoboda, Jaroslav ; Pešek, Luděk ; Fröhlich, Vladislav ; Klášterka, Petr
The contribution deals with results, the goal which has been to obtain friction properties of rubber elements made of the material 42-809. The results were expressed in the form of friction forms as functions of amplitudes of vibrations and a quantity of pressure force.
