Issue of employment of people aged 50+

The Bachelor Thesis deals with the issue of employing people aged 50+. It is focusing on people, who are in productive age, partially on people already in retirement. Objective of the Thesis is to define individual aspects of employing such a person, introduce to predicated age structure of population, clear up legislative frame and relevant judicature, as well as to make a summary of steps already done in issue of employing people over 50 years old within the Czech Republic and the European Union. Analytic part contains secondary data and its analysis which purpose is to complete the full image of this task. Practical part's objective is bringing forward and evaluate actual situation in the Czech Republic and Czech labour market.
Changing family behavior of the population of the Czech Republic

The main subject of research called "Changing family behavior of the population of the Czech Republic" is to analyze factors that had a major impact on the status of families and family policies in our country before and after 1989. The first chapter focuses on the definition of terms relevant to my future analysis and also compared the demographic characteristics that largely affect the reproductive behavior of citizens in the Czech Republic. The second chapter will focus mainly on changes in the economic and social policy which have the greatest influence on changes in family behavior and further expands upon the changing social assistance benefits as part of pro-population government measures and other advantages or disadvantages relating to the family. The third chapter is devoted to current trends that negatively affect the attitude of the traditional family and the final section looks into the future development of the reproductive behavior of the Czech population.
Ageing of the European Union's population

The thesis is focused on the development of demographic ageing in the countries that are the members of the European Union in 2011. The general overview of historical evolution is followed by the analysis of ageing in the European Union member countries in the last decade. The countries are compared on the basis of the most significant indicators of demographic ageing. The indicators are pursued for the longest possible period as for the European Union as the whole. Comparison is presented mainly in graphic form. All discovered knowledge is clearly resumed describing the development of ageing in the European Union and its member countries in the conclusion.
Spatial and economic effects of the population ageing in the Czech Republic

The demographic ageing is an inevitable result of social and economic changes of recent decades. Although it fully affects the Czech Republic in the near future it is necessary to adopt proper precautions to minimize its risks and take the opportunities now. This bachelor thesis analyzes the causes and effects of the population ageing in the Czech Republic, examines the possible transformations of the pension system and public health care. It offers a range of measures to reduce the negative impacts of the population aging and points to the possibilities that arise in connection with this trend. In the second part the thesis focuses on the active ageing program and its implementation in the city of Prague. By using the questionnaire, it examines the supply and demand of activities for seniors. On the basis of obtained dates are built characteristics of organizers of these activities and charted their spatial distribution, legal form and economic situation.
Influence of life style on seniors´ health.

The age of population has been protracting while the age limit for retirement has been increasing. On the one hand there are seniors who live to old age but they are in a relatively good health condition as same as their mental condition and state of mind. On the other hand there are among us the fellow citizens who became ill at a relatively early retirement age of civilization diseases. The aim of this thesis is to map the lifestyle of today´s seniors who lived to old age so that today´s young people and middle-aged people could spend their old age in the best health conditions and leisurely enjoy the retirement age because of its delayed coming. I have chosen qualitative research for ney diploma work. I hawe used the technique af half centrollet interview.
Effect of Physical Exercises to Psychical Social Field of Clients from Seniors Houses.

Among other things, the health education works with physical exercise. Strengthening the health through exercising should therefore be an important part of the elder care. The main purpose of this bachelor thesis was to assess the impact of physical activities on the psychosocial well-being of elderly people in retirement homes. The survey focused on seniors with reduced mobility. To check their psychosocial health I used the POMS questionnaire and the questionnaire "The social health of the elderly.? After evaluating the research results I came to the conclusion that the intervention exercise unit has had a positive effect on the emotional state of the majority of the surveyed group of seniors. The results of this study has also testified that older people feel satisfied with their lives.
The Quality of Life by Clients at Seniors House in Horní Planá

The subject of this diploma theses is the quality of life of seniors in retirements homes in Horní Planá, their integration in the active events, especially the effectivity of psychomotor intervention programme which was applied to selected group of old people. The theoretical part deals with the old age and the aging process and the issue of senior age. The evaluation and the factors which influence the quality of life are involved as well. The practical part is devoted to research realization and to application of intervention programme. The results are documented in the next part. The data were got during questionnaire survey, psychological tests, interviews, observations and case study. The final part contents the answers about aims and research questions. The research denotes that the seniors in retirements homes in Horní Planá are well treated and the old people are offered sufficiency of supportive activities. The intervention programme did not influence the quality of life of seniors significantly.
The Quality of Life by Clients at Seniors Houses Hvízdal

The thesis The Quality of the senior?s life in the home of seniors Hvízdal deals with the definition of the concept ?old age? and ?ageing process? in its theoretical part. It desribes calendar , biological, social and mental age and it informs about some theories of the ageing process. It also deals with the concept of the life?s quality and especially the life?s quality of the seniors and the health support in the old age. My aim in the exploratory part of my thesis is to appraise the senior life?s quality in the home of seniors Hvízdal. The research work was made by the questionary investigation with the help of the questionaries WHOQOL-BREF, WHOQOL-OLD. After the confrontation of the results with the populaion standard I found out that the investigated seniors are getting near towards this population standard which means that the quality of their lifes is average.
Local Organization of Pensioner Association and its contribution to a prevention of social exclusion in the town of Prachatice

My bachelor thesis describes the contribution of Local Organization of Czech Pensioner Association to a prevention of social exclusion in the town of Prachatice. This work analyses activities of a local pensioner association in 2010 and indicates the possibilities on its field. Theoretical part brings analyses of basic terms like ageing, old age, social exclusion, activities, life style, and quality of life. Practical part contains qualitative research based on analysis planning, pensioner association statistics, and interpretation of interview with a deputy of Local Organization of Pensioner Association. The goal of this work is to map organization activities, which contributes to prevention of social exclusion of pensioners. The research suggests possibilities which the organization can provide to improve the quality of pensioners´ lives.
Stimulating activities in social service facilities ? Domov pro seniory Máj and Domov důchodců Dobrá Voda

This bachelor theses researches if the senior citizens in two retirement homes (Domov pro seniory Máj and Domov důchodců Dobrá Voda) use the possibilities of offered activities. The theoretic part of the thesis deals with ageing, old age and adaptation to old age, needs of senior citizens, retirement homes and adaptation in such facilities. It also discusses stimulation activities and their importance for adaptation in the facility. The research part is based on interviews with senior citizens from retirement homes that investigated if they use the possibility of offered activities. Revealed information is compared to data from the literature review.
