Kindergarten Teacher Personality and her Professional Growth

The personality of teacher influences quality of education. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to show the social responsibility of the nursery teacher profession in context with the need and the necessity of the lifelong learning. Theoretical part of this thesis is dealing with the social responsibility of education. It defines the terms education and learning firstly in general than from the social point of view. It presents the importance and the actual conception of preschool education. It defines also personality and professional competences of the nursery teacher. Practical part is devided into two parts ? it pursues offer of the educational organisations and via questionnaire it finds out the needs of teacher in relation to further education. On the base of comparison it determines the recommendations for the organisations of further education.
Preparing for opening of school attendance

In the theoretical work I will describe the concept of primary school, now to set start school as a watershed event and describe the child commencing school from the perspective of developmental psychology. In the practical part I will describe how to prepare to start school some nursery schools, with an emphasis on collaboration with parents and primary schools. I use the method of questionnaire and interview.
Impacts of shortage of places in kindergarten in the Czech Republic´s tax revenues

The thesis focuses on impacts of shortage of places in kindergarten in the Czech Republic's tax revenues due to reduced participation of women in labor market. Within the work is described the situation on imaginary kindergarten market. The supply side is made of kindergartens and the demand side is made of children between age 3 and 6 and their parents. Comparasion of cost expended on establishing new positions in kinderkarten with tax revenue is illustrated by cost benefit analysis. The goal of cost benefit analysis in this work is to prove or disprove expediency hypothesis of establishing new positions in kindergartens in comparison with total lost tax revenue.
Organizational culture in terms of preschool education

The submitted diploma thesis focuses on the organizational culture in terms of preschool education, particularly at nursery schools. There are specific elements of the organizational culture for preschool education as well as factors that affect organizational culture at nursery schools within the external and internal environment of the school. This thesis diagnoses the organizational culture at a particular nursery school. Based on this diagnosis, we can say that a strong organizational culture can be created even at a nursery school. There is also the relationship between organizational culture, effectiveness of organization and quality of education that implies from the positive evaluation of this nursery school. The thesis draws up recommendations for this specific nursery school, which are focused primarily on communication and foreknowledge. Recommendations are designed for founders of public nursery school as well. In terms of public nursery school, there should not be an argument of a lack of funds from this perspective, there should rather be a better utilization of that a strong organizational culture offers.

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of cooperation between school and family. The theoretical part describes this issue in the curricula documents. It describes pre-school and elementary schools education according to the Framework Educational Programme. Attention is also paid to the roles of teachers, parents and children when cooperating. The practical part is based on research of different types of cooperation at different school levels. It tries to find out what the experience of parents and teachers with mutual cooperation might be.

The aim of theoretical part is: in more detail peep into problems of Down´s syndrome, deal with beginning, history, characters and development of Down´s syndrome. The aim of this work is to confirm usefulness and possibility of versatility of playing the piano in kindergarten and its importance in shaping the relationship to music. To provide inspiration to teachers of nursery schools to use the piano. The content of the theoretical part is the characteristics of contemporary preschool education, the status of music in integrated education, the use of the piano in singing, listening, instrumental and physical activity, play the piano as a motivation. There is developed an offer of various activities with using the piano for children from kindergarten in practical part, verified their usefulness in practice, recorded children?s reaction. Research investigation is focused on the relationship of children to music and musical instruments.
Storytelling as a tool in prevention of socio-pathologic phenomena

This Bachelor thesis focuses on the possibility of using storytelling as a tool in prevention of socio-pathologic phenomena. In the theoretical part are illustrated symptoms of socio-pathologic phenomena in the pre-school education. Futher it puts forward the theory of effective work with a story, aiming to bring the child an instruction and enjoyment. To sum up, the positive impacts of storytelling on the development of children skills are mentioned. In the second practical part of the thesis is elaborated a story itself with focus on the prevention of some socio-pathologic phenomena. The efficacity of the storytelling is verified by the observational method, which elicits the behaviour of individuals as well as of a group and through its results confirms or disproves of the defined hypotheses.
