Modern methods in spur gearing production.

The division and comparison of modern methods of production of spur gearings. The introduction is focused on the characteristics and description of cog wheels. Furthermore, the types of gearing and gear mechanisms are introduced. The main part of the text deals with individual ways of a production of spur gearings including finishing methods. The following part of this work describes the importance and possibilities of heat and chemical-heat gearing production. In the last chapters, the evaluation and achieved results of individual technologies of gearing production are introduced.

New advanced milling tools

This bachelor thesis deals with the subject of milling and relevant devices. The first part introduces the essential data about milling, the information necessary for specification of the cutting conditions and the form of milling. It also provides the description of types and labelling of milling machines. The second section centres on the milling device assortment of three companies, specifically on slab mills by WALTER AG, Sandvik Coro-mant, Pramet Tools, s.r.o. The final part of the thesis comments upon the rec-ommended usage scope of the machinery produced by the companies men-tioned above.

Programming CNC machines with digital control system Fanuc.

The theme of this bachelor thesis focuses on the CNC-programming, which is currently used in many branches of the machine industry. The theme is elaborated and divided into well-arranged chapters. The first part deals with the development of the control system of cutting machines, beginning with the hard automatization and ending with the computer-controlled cutting machines. In the second part there is described the general control system Fanuc including the machine description. The third part contains the application of the real cutting procedure - with the NC program for turning and milling of the sample component in a certain company.

This work is specialized in milling tools. The basic characteristics of milling are described in the first part, where emphasis is put on the characteristic of machine tool operations, on description of the basic milling ways and cutting conditions. Next part makes the characteristic of milling tools from the viewpoint of construction, tool material, the way of labeling and using. Last part of this work is concentrated on summary and reciprocal comparing of chosen tools in production assortment of three significant home and world producers. The comparing is made for face milling cutters produced by Pramet Tools Ltd., Sandvik Coromant and Ceratizit S.A.
