Class D audio power amplifier
Kaláb, Lukáš ; Petržela, Jiří (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This project aims on completed design and consequential realization of prototype of the class D audio power amplifier. Amplifier works for home listening and should power at 2 x 50 W. The machine contains finall degree, correcting pre-amplifier and power supply. The basis for realization of the design (connection diagram, design of printed connections boards, distribution and list of parts) are made in Eagle software. Mechanic configuration of all parts in the body of the amplifier is also part of the work.
Class D audio power amplifier with input selector
Krmela, Tomáš ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with a Class D low-frequency amplifier in class D with an input selector and a tone preamplifier. The preamplifier consists of a Philips TDA1524A electrical circuit. The advantages of this circuit are the usage of simple potentiometers and the absence of potentiometer electronic noise when tuning due to the voltage control of corrections. Core power module is a STmicroelectronics TDA7490 electrical circuit. It is a stereophonic 2 x 25W Class D audio power amplifier.
Loudspeaker Box for Wavefield Synthesis
Naňák, Pavel ; Kubánek, David (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
Purpose of this work is to design active loudspeaker system as a source of sound proper for wavefield synthesis. Loudspeaker system is considerate as a singleband and its length should not overlap 15cm. System should be designed at the best in parameters like frequency characteristic and directional characteristic. Part of work is dedicated to theoretical aspects, explanation of wavefield principles itself and its usage on the field of surround sound, further this work concerns aural transducers, especially electrodynamic one, which is used in this work, and the last topic is about baffle-board for loudspeakers. Hereinafter there are laid two proposals of baffles, one conception is closed baffle and second is bassreflex baffle. Both of those baffle conception are simulated in program LEAP-5 and are optimized for this current work. All construction possibilities introduced in this work are digestedly documented in appendix. Special attention is dedicated to right choice of aural transducer for this loudspeaker and to description of its attributes, there are discussed pro and cons of every chosen transducer and its suitability for this work. Electronic part of work is designing of amplifier and power source suitable for at least four of loudspeakers. Amplifier is modified for switching input level of signal between -10 dBu and +4 dBu, this range is reached by switching the amplification of amplifier. Amplifier is realized in class D, because of the demands on small the size of the system. Amplifier is powered by external source designated to be small and effective at the same time. Each module of power source and amplifier has their schemes and designs of printed circuit boards are documented in appendix.
Class D audio amplifier with PWM modulation
Arvai, Luboš ; Petržela, Jiří (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this project is design audio amplifier working in class D with power output 2x20 W. In the beginning is shortly described a principle of amplifiers in class D. In the next chapter is block circuit diagram and requirements list for individual blocks. In next section is closely described circuit design of correction preamplifier, PWM modulator with driver of power transistors, power stage and output filter. At the conclusion is summarized experimentally obtained knowledge. On the basis of this knowledge is described modification of original design.
Power audio amplifier with AC/DC converter
Melša, Vojtěch ; Kováč, Michal (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this work was to design and construct a simple audio amplifier, which would be based of involvement and components used in switching power sources on the maximum degree (for example from usual ATX sources for computer). The main motivation for development is the existence of many old sources that do not use and big interest of users for the construction of home audio amplifiers for small and medium power. Amplifiers based on switching power sources with greater efficiency and less weight than comparable classic amplifiers (working in classes A, B or AB). Their disadvantage is the complicated design and introduction of distortion and spurious signals to the amplified signal. This work will be described a design of simple amplifier, which will minimize these negative effects. For shortcomings and wrong parameters this proposed involvement will be eventually described and implemented design of amplifier in class D.
Class D audio power amplifier with microprocessor controlling
Nedbal, Jan ; Papica, Petr (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design and practical realization of class D audio power amplifier with microprocessor controlling. The first part describes the integrated circuits used in a preamplifier and his complete design with a description of the control program for ATmega128 microcontroller. The following part describes an integrated power amplifier TAS5613 and his circuits. The next section describes a switching power supply design using integrated circuit TOP261EN. The last section describes measurements of parameters of individual parts of the amplifier.
Digital audio amplifier with universal inputs
Svadbík, Pavel ; Stifter,, Jiří (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with digital audio amplifier with universal inputs and its design. The first part describes modulation and audio formats for audio electronics. The thesis contain design of a block diagram of the digital audio amplifier and describes the requirements for functional blocks. As a basic device for audio signal processing was choosen integrated circuit STA326. The thesis continue with circuits design for each blocks with a description of their principles. The next section describes the construction and firmware for microcontroller. The last part of this diploma thesis is targeted on the presentation of the measured parameters of the amplifier. The conclusion summarizes the results that have been achieved and advantages and disadvantages of the digital audio amplifier prototype.
