Habitat colonization by neophyte Impatiens glandulifera and estimate of factors limiting its spread
Marková, Zuzana ; Hejda, Martin (advisor) ; Malíková, Lenka (referee)
Invasive spread of neophyte Impatiens glandulifera in central Europe started approximatelly eighty years ago. First records of dense cover stands come from belt stands in riparian habitats. The scale of invaded habitats and degree of the dominance of I. glandulifera is more diversified nowadays. This thesis is objected on the dominance and fertility of I. glandulifera within different habitat types and scale of invaded habitats in different parts of invaded range within Europe (i. e. in Czech Republic and Switzerland). The results show that the height and cover (substitutes for biomass and dominance) of this neophyte (i) correlates with the character of invaded vegetation (ii) relates to the degree of hemeroby (a measure of human impact) negativelly, and (iii), of course, both the growth and dominance are positively affected by nutrient content. Fertility does not differ among the types of invaded habitats, but goes up with the height of I. glandulifera and decreases with its cover. Invaded habitats comprises ruderal and riparian vegetation, but also wet maedows, forest clearances, beach and slope forests or weed vegetation.

Behaviour of meerkats (\kur{Suricata suricatta}) in ZOOs
ŠVOMOVÁ, Tereza
Meerkat (Suricata suricatta) comes under moongooses beasts of prey which can as a dominant individual live up to 11 years and up to 4-5 years as a subordinate. Meercat is an insectivore based in south Africa, mostly forming social groups which may consist of 3 to 50 members. The group itself is usually composed of dominant couple which is commonly responsible for reproduction, and several facilitators which participate in various tasks, such as taking care about whelps, looking for nutrition, lair maintenance or guarding against predators. The work itself was held in Zoo based in Jihlava since July until September 2015 on a group consisting of 9 meercats (4 juvenile, 5 adult) using method of direct observation. The main concern of the paper is to find correlation between a number of visitors of the Zoo and behaviour of meercats. Factors observed in order to assess the degree of the dependence were raking, passive behaviour and reactions to the visitors. Observations resilted in monitoring factors traffic does not affect on the behavior of meerkats.
Vliv stanovištních podmínek na faunu střevlíkovitých ve smrkových a bukových porostech Beskyd
Rolinc, Petr
In beech and spruce stands in the LS Ostravice in Moravia Silesian Beskydy was realized monitoring of epigeic invertebrates by pitfall traps method. Carabid beetles (Carabidae) were classified as bioindicator group in terms of representation in spruce and beech stands with regard to main typopologic kategories like as forest altitudinal vegetation groups (LVS), edaphic categories (EK) and files of forest types (SLT). Ground beetles communities were evaluated in economic forests and nature reserves. Collecting of ground beetles was realized in period 2007 -- 2014 in the spring, summer, late summer and autumn aspect. In the entire period were captured 67 483 individuals of ground beetles belonged to 77 species. In interest area was confirmed the occurrence of legally protected species and species Natura 2000 (Carabus variolosus Sturm). Another protected and heavilly endagered species was Carabus obsoletus Sturm. Carabus linnei, Pterostichus burmeisteri and Pterostichus foveolatus were eudominant species. The dominant species were represented Abax ovalis, Carabus glabratus and Pterostichus oblongopunctatus. There was proved a relation between carabid beetles and main typologic categories (LVS, EK and SLT). Several species were discovered diference between spruce and beech stands and so between nature reserves and economic forests.
Vliv vegetační stupňovitosti na složení taxocenóz modelové skupiny pisivek (Insecta: Psocoptera) v oblasti Králického Sněžníku
Gol, Jiří
The species of Psocoptera order were studied in selected vegetation zones in the Kralicky Sneznik Mountains on the total are of 19 plots. Localities are situated from the zonal 4th (Fageta s.lat.) to 9th (Pineta mugi s.lat.) vegetation zone and the collection of the Psocoptera species was carried out during the growing seasons of 2010 - 2013. In the interest area were caught a total number of 3352 Psocoptera imagoes. On the whole 21 of species was discovered, which is 16,4 % of total known Psocoptera species in the Czech Republic. From the 4th to 9th vegetation zone (VZ), for trees and forest types were dominance of species evaluated. In the 5th VZ was characteristic species combination Caecilius despaxi -- C. flavidus -- Enderleinella obsoleta discovered. In the 6th VZ Caecilius burmeisteri -- C. despaxi -- C. flavidus. In the 7th VZ Caecilius despaxi -- C. piceus -- Philotarsus picicornis -- Stenopsocus lachlani and in the 8th VZ was discovered charakteristic species combination Amphigerontia bifasciata -- Caecilius despaxi -- Philotarsus picicornis -- Stenopsocus lachlani.
Drobní obratlovci v lesních ekosystémech Krušných hor a Děčínské vrchoviny
Těšík, Jindřich
The research was focused on the evaluation of trapping of common shrew, a small shrew, bank vole yellow--necked mouse, rat shrub, wetland voles with analysis of population and seasonal dynamics. Structures of capture common shrew, small shrew and bank vole were described more detailed. Animals were compared on base of nature conditions of localities. Conducted trapping of small terrestrial mammals took place in eastern part of Krusnohori (2003--2004) and Decin Highlands (1987--2013). 1831 small terrestrial mammals of 9 species (insectivores 4, rodents 5) were caught in the eastern part of Krusnohori and 2924 individuals belong to 11 species (6 insectivores, rodents 5) were caught in the Decin Highlands.
