Flow measurement
Pátek, Tomáš ; Kunz, Jan (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with thermal flowmeter design. In the theoretical part are briefly described flow types, general formulas of fluid mechanics and different flow measurements methods. Second practical part this bachelor thesis deals with design of thermoanemometric gas flow sensor with FS7 sensor by IST AG. Design is based on many measurementrs to get basic features of sensor IST FS7 like heater warming depending on flow, heat transfer in zero flow and basic characteristic. Based on measurements, it is designed mathematical model of sensor by two methods. So it is designed universal performing electronics, which can be used with IST FS7 or IST DFOOL sensors. It is based on development kit Texas Instrumens MSP-EXP430FR2311. Firmware and MATLAB script which processing measured data is included.
Comparison between Flow in the Left Internal Mammary Artery Harvested via Sternotomy and via a Left Anterior Small Thoracotomy with Clinical Impact for the Patient
Voborník, Martin ; Harrer, Jan (advisor) ; Lonský, Vladimír (referee) ; Rohn, Vilém (referee)
Comparison between flow in the left internal mammary artery harvested via sternotomy and via a left anterior small thoracotomy with clinical impact for the patient Introduction: In the treatment of coronary artery disease (CAD), in addition to conservative therapy and percutaneous interventions, is irreplacebly belong coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). The gold standard in the surgical treatment of CAD is CABG from a median sternotomy access using cardiopulmonary bypass (on-pump CABG). A less invasive and economically advantageous is CABG from a median sternotomy access without cardiopulmonary bypass (off-pump CABG) and last but not least CABG through a left anterior small thoracotomy (LAST) approach (MIDCAB - "minimally invasive direct coronary artery bypass"). Although the final technical implementation anastomoses is essentially identical in off-pump CABG and MIDCAB, the difference is very important during left internal mammary artery (LIMA) harvesting, especially through a LAST approach, which can be difficult for the surgeon. Aim of the study: The aim of these two studies is to assess the effect of surgical approach on the mean flow in LIMA, including short and long term clinical impact for the patient. Methods: Study 1 (nonrandomized, prospective): In our study we included 60 patients,...
The influence inclination of supply pipe to the Q/H characteristic of measuring flume PARS P3
Naiser, Dominik ; Žoužela, Michal (referee) ; Zubík, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the influence of the inlet pipe on the Q / H characteristic of the measuring flume PARS P3. Measurements of Q / H characteristics were performed under different inclination of the inlet pipe and the measuring flume. Subsequently, these measurements were processed and the corrections and uncertainties of the measurements were determined from the results.
Flow measurement using the compound weir
Sedlák, Daniel ; Duchan, David (referee) ; Žoužela, Michal (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis is focused on issues of measurement significantly unstable by the flow rates with using of compound sharp crested weirs. The laboratory research determined three selected types of weirs. Laboratory research have been established three capacitive dependence of selected types of weirs. These dependencies are presented in tabular and graphical form.
Flexible Network Flow Measurement
Varga, Ladislav ; Tobola, Jiří (referee) ; Žádník, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with designing the probe used for measuring network flows. It contains theoretical analysis of network measurment topic, description of algorithms and principles used for network flow measurement. Emphasis on the probe architecture lies on efficient indexing algorithm and flow record flexibility, such that user is able to define format of flow record.
System for measuring of thermal efficiency of solar absorbers
Řiháček, Jan ; Podaný, Kamil (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
The thesis deals with the measurement system for determining the thermal efficiency of the newly developed types of solar absorbers. Measuring equipment allows simultaneous indoor or outdoor thermal efficiency detection of up to four samples absorbers. Emphasis is placed on the flow and heat transfer medium temperature changes. For this purpose is used Biotech FCH-m-POM-LC and LM35DZ sensors. Sensor signal is transferred to a PC using the measuring module NI USB-6221. Here it is further processed by proposed evaluation program. The software is implemented in LabVIEW integrated development environment. In a final part are performed a verification measurements to assess system performance and evaluate the thermal efficiency of various types of solar absorbers. This path is also demonstrated high efficiency applications absorbent layer coating color RABSORB 5.
Experimental analysis of automobile ventilating outlet air flow using hot wire anemometry and draft of outlet quality rating
Ležovič, Tomáš ; Šedivý, Petr (referee) ; Lízal, František (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with air flow in the interior of automobile Škoda Octavia. The attention is focused only at a side ventilating outlet. Author’s effort was to propose the appropriate criteria for evaluation and assessment of ventilating outlet quality and elaborate the methodology of measurement for these criteria. Then follows the application of the methodology and measurement of velocity field of air flow from the outlet by the method of hot wire anemometry. The thesis also contains comparison of the results with the results attained by the smoke visualization.
The determination of countercurrent process of water surface level decrease before the thin-plate rectangular-notch weir
Hanychová, Anna ; Šafář,, Robert (referee) ; Žoužela, Michal (advisor)
This diploma thesis is concerned to determination of countercurrent proces of water surface level decrease before the thin-plate rectengular-notch weir. The measuring of the depth of water is to determine properly the flow standard. For this reason is the experimental measurements the main topic of this thesis. The aim was to do some measuring on free thin-plate- rectangular with weir b=250 mm, b=200 mm and b=150 mm. The values were evaluated and attain results were compared with the results which were reported in the literature.
Use of integration method for discharge measurement in confusor of the flumes type Parshall
Zeiner, Pavel ; Brázda, Martin (referee) ; Žoužela, Michal (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the measurement of flow rate in flumes type PARS P2, P3 and P4. First, there is a search for a convenient profile in confusor for research and consequently to construct graphical dependences from which to read the value of the correction coefficient for many water depths in flumes. Then, there are constructed graphical dependences from which to read the value of measurement uncertainty for many flow rates in flumes.
Flow measurement
Dvořák, Roman ; Uher, Miroslav (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis is elaboration an analysis accessible small gas station. The base was meet possibilities in measurement of small flows and of them choose optima suitable solution, eventually occupy fit pump and process device. After the introduced theoretical analysis in the first part is continuing the second part, where finds enumeration me choice elements station with presented cause selection. After realization all part of system was at last parts effected calibration and setting process device part gas station. Resulting solving was collated with commercially accessible systems small gas station.
