Pastoral Care of the Noe Community
PLAVCOVÁ, Hana
The work describes pastoral care activities of the Noe Community, analyses these activites from the pastoral and theological points of view, and recommends steps which could be taken to deepen the effects of such pastoral care. The aim of the pastoral care of the Noe Community is to inspire people with whom the community works to start searching for salvation. The tree basic ways of realizing such a goal are supported by the community: offering free time activities and personality-formation courses, personal guiding and offering helping interviews, and organizing activities for the whole village community. The target group which the pastoral care is aimed at are youth and young adults, both believers and non-believers. The basic theological principle from which the whole pastoral care stems is the principle of inculturation. It serves as a starting point for four criteria of the youth pastoral care {--} searching and finding the common language, practising an individual approach to each person, offering specific spirituality, and personal and subject-matter offer. These are the criteria for evaluation of the pastoral care activities of the Noe Community.

This target has been investigated by experimental investigation which has conducted for six weeks. The swimmers were divided into experimental and control groups by their age and performance. The elements of water polo were included into the swimming training of the experimental group. After the experiment an interview with individuals of the experimental group was conducted, which implies positive evolution and popularity of swimming training with elements of water polo. For the determination, whether there is deterioration of technique with inclusion of the water polo elements was carried out an expert assessment of the 2nd class trainer that did not show any deterioration.
