Road I/43 in stage Milonice - Krhov - Safety Inspection
Čechová, Zuzana ; Simandl, Arnošt (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The aim of my diploma thesis is to solve vehicle traffic safety and technical conditions on road I/43, research specific dangerous parts, subsequent evaluationandprocessing of individualpoint defects. It´s a 10km long section between Milonice and Krhov, approximately25km north from Brno. In total I found 4 defect points, which should be solved before realization of new motorway project R/43, which will replace existing I/43. The first defect point is in close proximity of Milonice village, there is an inconvenient intersection of I/43 with III/31775. There is a huge traffic intensity on road I/43 and an absence of turning lane on the left side. Second defect point is in village Závist, where is unsuitable connection from MK to I/43 and behind village is big longitudinalinclination, which is not suitable for slow vehicles. Third defect point is concerning the area between Závist and Černá Hora villages. There are unsuitable directional, high-altitude solutions, longitudinal inclinations and a crosswise arranged road. The last defect point is the horizon on road I/43 near village Krhov, this part of the road is the most dangerous section. On the horizon is an unsuitably planned project with a combination of directional, high-altitude solutions and transverse arrangement of roads with non-standard finishes ascending road lanes. I tried to solved defect points in the best possible way and to depict suggested action.
Southern bypass Kyjov
Guráň, Pavel ; Smítal, Petr (referee) ; Holcner, Petr (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is the study of the route of the road I/54 south of the town of Kyjov with regard to the valid zoning plans of the municipalities concerned. The projected bypass will primarily divert traffic off the southern part of the town. The reasons for constructing the bypass are to divert heavy transit traffic, to increase safety in the town and to reduce the negative impacts of transport. The diploma thesis further includes the study of the potential route of the road II/432 west of the city. The projected western bypass is based on the conceptual plans of the South Moravian Region. The western bypass will prospectively divert traffic off the town and enable the connection to the western area of Kyjov.

Bažant, Petr ; Tesař, Jiří (referee) ; Všetečka, Martin (advisor)
A part of the road I/43 in the section between Černá Hora and Sebranice is the subject of diploma thesis. The output of thesis is to identify problematic parts of the safety and fluency of traffic and to propose appropriate measures. The road I/43 is very problematic and discussed of these aspects. Becouse of the character and the results of traffic accidents is called Highway of death. The thesis contains proposals of structural modification in selected problematic sections. These structural modifications are intended to increase the safety of traffic, but in order to limit of flow of traffic. Depending on the long-delayed contruction of expressway R43 is in order to make quick and effective increase the safety and the fluency of traffic counting with traffic intensity in the full range.
Reconstruction of crossing Pisárecká - Veslařská, Brno
Tejkal, David ; Veselý, Josef (referee) ; Pavlíček, Jan (advisor)
The main reason of doing this master thesis is reconstruction crossroad Pisarecka – Veslarska in Brno with growing traffic intensity up every year. Obviously had to be observed the best safety draw around the walking and bicycle area. This crossroad is using like transfer place. The result of this work is to elaborate of the situation including charasteristic cut sections and longitudinal profile of main road. Part of this work is an estimate of the financial cost to realize this building.

VMO Brno South - alternative solution
Servus, Ondřej ; Bijok, Petr (referee) ; Smělý, Martin (advisor)
The subject of master´s thesis is a variant solution VMO processing segment in Brno - the south, in the area approximately bounded by streets Heršpická - Marian Square - Faměr Square and the south of the motorway D1. The solution was based on the fact that it will be implemented reconstruction of the railway junction in Brno (ŽUB) and thus is released today Přerovka corridor route. Route VMO will be conducted on the embankment of Přerovka and will be processed two variants. As an alternative A - VMO connection with D1 and the route Bratislava radial (see Urban Plan MB). As an alternative B - route run as the Bratislava tangent and Brno from MUK - south along the street Ráječek to Hájecká. Technical level of processing route VMO and routes radial and the tangent is considered as the search study with solutionof fundamental trace elements.

Šeda, Matěj ; Coufalíková, Iva (referee) ; Smělý, Martin (advisor)
Thesis subject is a project documentation as a proposal of eliptical roundabout replacing current intersection. In the proposal is designed foot-path and transfer of the bus stop. Vehicles will be rectified by horizontal road markings and the center dividing island of the roundabout. There was measured actual traffic flow intensity. Reviews of perspective intensity for current and newly designed state are part of the thesis.
Bypass Bučovice
Guráň, Pavel ; Apeltauer, Jiří (referee) ; Holcner, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis investigates the possible construction of the road I/50 in the city of Bučovice. It respects the environment and life in the city. In particular, the proposed bypass will conduct the transit traffic out of the city center. The reason for the bypass construction is to increase safety in the city, and to reduce other negative effects. These negative effects are traffic intensity, noise, emissions and vibration from heavy-duty vehicles. There are three variants of the route planning. One of them is based on the local plan, and runs through the southern part of the city. The remaining variants run entirely away from the city. The multi-criteria evaluation and the comparison of the solved options is available as well.
Distribution strategy after opening the northern highway in the Czech Republic
Jindrová, Věra ; Fábry, Jan (advisor) ; Kuncová, Martina (referee)
The aim of this work is to simulate and to try to predict a distribution strategy by opening the northern highway in the Czech Republic based on the current traffic flows and existing trends. The speedway R35 will be after the completion of all platforms the northern backbone route connecting Bohemia and Moravia. With an overall length of 260 km it will be the longest Czech speedway. Another attraction of this highway is the connection of four regional cities and six strokes crossing the motorway network. The prediction of traffic volume will have a task to reveal the simulation model of overt and covert traffic flows, including the approximate volumes of traffic. The author assumes that the completion of the R35 between Mohelnice and eastern Bohemia will have a strategic importance not only for relieving highway D1, but also due to the conversion of the distribution strategy in the whole country, including new opportunities for the construction of distribution centers strategically located.
