Financial analysis of the company Tatra, a.s.

Financial analysis is a tool by which a company can evaluate and describe its results for a certain accounting period. Due to financial analysis we can predict the future development of a company, and show its strengths and weaknesses, threats, opportunities, and it is also possible to test how input of different data can make in changes monitored parameters. Information collected from financial analysis are used externally (e.g. by banks, by potential investors) and also internally (e.g. by management or by owners). The aim of this Bachelor Thesis is to carry out a detailed financial analysis of Tatra, a.s. company, during 2004--2008 and try to estimate the direction of the company in the future and outline scheme that top management can apply to their work to help the company survive and continue their work in this unstable period. Tatra, a.s. company has been established in mid-19th century, therefore it has been listed as one of the oldest automobile companies in the world.

The financial analysis of MADETA, a. s.

The main point of this bachelor's work is to analyze the financial situation of MADETA company in years 2003 - 2007. The financial analysis were focused on gathering the information fot potential investors into company assets. The thesis consists of two connected parts: methodological and practical. The first part defines financial analysis issue, specifies subjects and goals, describes the basic steps any financial analyst should do. In addition, there are explained fundamental terms and methods of a financial analysis. The practical part is based on the concrete calculations and answers. At first the basic information concerning MADETA is inroduced: its main activities and organization structure. Then the theoretical concepts explained at the methodological part were applied in MADETA's case. In conclusion, I summarized important points of the conducted financial analysis, evaluated the company's financial situation and suggested the recommendations for the company.

Financial analysys of Company Pfizer spol. s r.o.

I explore Company Pfizer spol. s r.o. with vertical and horizontal analysis of balance-sheet and of profit and loss statement in my financial analysis. I used also balance rules, ratio analysis and prime and bankruptcy models to analyse the company. The facts, which I explored, I compared with appropriate branch. I define my own recommendations for improving state of the company in conclusion.

Financial analysis of Czech Airlines company

Content of this bachelor thesis is the financial analysis of Czech Airlines company. Aim is to complexly assess financial health of the company during 2003 - 2007. The work presents the strengths and weaknesses of the company and tries to propose improvements. The main resorces are public free data. Therefore it is an external analysis. All the theoretical lines in the methodological part are used in the practical part consisting of a financial statements analysis, index analysis, creditworthy and bankrupt models, economic value added and company inter-comparison. The conclusion summarizes all findings and outlines the future progress.

The main purpose of presented diploma work is complex assessment of financial position of company Stavby silnic a železnic a. s. in 2003 - 2007, recognition of causes and proposal of possible steps leading to improvement. Partial aim of my work is comparison of bonding and bankrupting models applied to the mentioned company and mutual confrontation of these two models. Further aim is calculation of economic added value and subsequent analysis of input variable parameters sensitivity in relation to economic value added. Third partial purpose concerns the intercompany comparison and confrontation of this company with relevant branch.

The financial analysis of Aero Vodochody, a.s.

The aim of this thesis is to carry out economic analysis of Aero Vodochody, to analyze its current development and see whether the methods of analysis reflect the negative trend in the past. This should be reflected in values, which will be applied the method to acquire. The operational objective of this thesis is also to try to apply the method of Harry Pollak, which belongs to the methods of comprehensive evaluation of the business entity. It is an assessment of the vitality of the enterprise. This method is substantially subjective and relatively young, which explains the fact that it is somewhat less widespread.
